1.0 INTRODUCTION
DVIGear’s Wildcat™ DVI-7570 is the rst in a new generation of value-focused
HDMI extenders. They employ visually lossless compression that allows
resolutions of 3840 x 2160 /60p (4:4:4) to be extended as far as 30 meters (98 ft.)
over a single CAT6A cable. Resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 /30p (4:4:4) can be
extended to 70 meters (230 ft.).
This extender includes a buffered HDMI Loop Output for a local HDMI display on
the transmitter unit. The receiver unit includes de-embedded Analog and Digital
(TOSLINK) audio outputs to facilitate connections to an external audio system.
The DVI-7570 supports HDMI 4K /60p, is HDCP 2.2 compliant and supports
bi-directional Power-over-Cable, giving integrators and system designers
the exibility to power the extender set at either end of the signal chain. The
extenders occupy a minimal amount of space and can easily be concealed
thanks to an ultra-compact metal case, which includes all required mounting
hardware for a seamless, low-prole installation.
These features, together with the Wildcat Extender’s exceptional performance,
make it the ideal solution for cost-sensitive applications that demand high quality
HDMI signal distribution.

WARNING 1:
The CAT cable ports are designed to connect to compatible DVIGear Wildcat™
series products only.
Do not connect any device to the CAT cable connector unless you are
sure it is compatible. Connecting incompatible devices with similar connectors may cause
harm to the devices.
WARNING 2: It is typical for the CAT cable receiver unit to operate at higher temperatures
than the transmitter unit. In order to ensure proper operation and long term reliability, care
must be taken to ensure airow is not restricted in any way.
4.1 System Set-up
This HDMI extension system consists of a Transmitter unit (DVI-7570-TX) and a
Receiver unit (DVI-7570-RX). To connect this system, rst remove power from
all devices (installing devices while powered may cause damage). Connect a
CAT6A twisted pair cable to the CAT OUT on the transmitter unit. Connect the
other end of the CAT6A twisted pair cable to the CAT IN on the receiver unit.
Connect an HDMI or DVI signal source to the HDMI IN port on the transmitter

unit. Connect an HDMI or DVI display device (e.g. projector) to the HDMI OUT
on the receiver unit.
Additionally, the transmitter includes a buffered HDMI Loop Output for a local
HDMI display. Use of a High Speed HDMI®cable or High Speed HDMI to
DVI-D cable such as DVIGear’s High Resolution (HR™) Series is recommended.
Connect an HDMI or DVI display device (e.g. local monitor) to the HDMI OUT on
the transmitter unit.
The receiver features both a de-embedded Analog and a Digital (TOSLINK) audio
output to facilitate connections to an external audio system such as a sound bar
or speaker system.
Note: Proper operation of this product depends on the use of high quality cables. CAT6A
S/FTP (550 MHz) 23AWG twisted pair cable is recommended to maximize extension distances.
4.2 Power Connections and Bi-Directional Power over CAT Cable
The DVI-7570 is capable of being powered on either the transmitter or receiver
side, with the opposite side receiving its power over the CAT cable (POC). This
feature eliminates the need for a second external power supply at either the
receiver or transmitter.
For POC operation, connect the supplied AC Power Adapter to the 12 VDC
Power Input on either unit and then to a working AC power source. Once the
unit detects the POC compatible unit on the other side of the connection, it will
provide power over the CAT cable. If non-POC operation is desired, simply
connect the optional AC Power Adapter to the 12 VDC Power Input on both
units. In this case, the units will not supply power to each other.
Note: This product utilizes a locking DC power connector to prevent the power cable from
disengaging. Insert the DC plug into the power input jack on the rear panel, then gently rotate
the locking collar in the clockwise direction until it is secure. To remove the power connection,
simply unscrew the locking collar counter-clockwise and then extract the power cable.

4.3 Mounting Hardware
Each transmitter and receiver unit comes with a pair of mounting brackets to
facilitate installation on furniture or other surfaces. To afx each bracket to an
extender unit, align the two mounting holes of the plate with the holes on the
underside of the unit. Next, use the supplied screws to secure the bracket to the
case.
5.0 OPERATING THE UNIT
Once all connections have been made and power has been applied to all
components, this extension system should function immediately. This product
has no adjustments and does not require conguration.

6.0 TROUBLESHOOTING
If this unit does not appear to be functioning, make certain that the 12 VDC
power adapter is connected securely to a functioning AC power outlet and to
one of the units. Ensure that the Link LEDs on both TX and RX units are both lit.
If the system fails to display a signal, power OFF all devices and conrm that the
following connections are properly installed: the TX unit must be connected to
the source using the shortest possible high quality cable. The RX unit must be
connected to the display using the shortest possible high quality cable. Ensure
that the CAT cable between the TX and RX is of the highest quality possible and
within the allowable length noted on page 3. Verify that none of the cables used
show signs of damage and are not forced to bend beyond their minimum bend
radius.
If the IR connection is not functioning, verify that the IR Transmitter and IR
Receiver are connected in the correct conguration according to section 4.1
and that all connectors are securely seated.
Once all connections have been veried, power the display device on rst and
then the signal source. If the system still fails to display an image, check to
ensure that the HDMI or DVI signal source is compatible with the display by
making a direct connection between the two so as to bypass the extender pair.
If there is still no image, then there is a compatibility issue between the source
and the display that must be resolved.
If there are issues with audio dropouts, ensure that a compatible resolution is
being used. Refer to section 2.2 for more details
If the problem persists after trying the above suggestions, please contact your
dealer for additional assistance. If the dealer’s technical personnel are unable
to assist you, please contact DVIGear via telephone at 1.888.463.9927 (toll-free
for United States and Canada) or 1.770.421.6699. You may contact DVIGear by
