PMSCF Instructions Rev02
4.Secure t e cable by re-screwing t e cable clamp. Fix t e terminal cover back
5.Press t e side springs up, old t em and mount t e sensor into t e ceiling ole (see Figure 3)
Aft r finishing th fitting op ration, you can adjust th d t ction ar a and working stat of PIR s nsor
■
OPERATION MODE:
WALK TESTING:
W en t e mains supply is switc ed on to t e PMSCF, t e PMSCF sensor will enter into a “WARM-UP” period for approximately 1
minute and t en automatically c ange to “AUTO MODE”. W ile sensor is in t e AUTO MODE, you can t en carry out a Walk-Test
by placing t e LUX control to day position () and t e TIME control to minimum (-). Once t e PMSCF sensor receives a valid
trigger signal (suc as movement of a person) wit in its detection area, t e lamp(s) (load) will be turned on for t e pre-set period
of time. You will be able to determine t e detection area by walking slowly.
Pl as Not : Movement across t e detection area is more effective t an movement directly toward or away from t e sensor.
(Refer Fig.4A). If movement is towards or away from t e sensor, not across, t e detection range will be reduced. (Refer Fig. 4B)
Aft r compl ting th walk-t st, s t th LUX DIAL to th r quir d night position to nsur PMSCF only op rat s at night or
r quir d light l v l and s t TIME DIAL to th d sir d “ON’ tim .
ADJUSTING THE LUX CONTROL LEVEL:
T e Lux control module as a built-in p otocell t at detects daylig t and darkness.
() position denotes t at t e lamp(s) (load) will be turned on by PIR during day and nig t.
( ) position denotes t at t e lamp(s) (load) will be turned on by PIR only at nig t.
You can set to operate t e unit at t e desired level by adjusting t e LUX knob
ADJUSTING THE DURATION TIME:
T e duration time is “t e lengt of time t at t e PMSCF switc es t e load ‘on’ after activation”. T e duration time can be adjusted
from (10±5) seconds to (30±3) minutes. Rotating t e TIME knob from (+) to (-) will reduce t e duration time.
Not : Once t e lamp(s) (load) as been triggered by t e PIR sensor any subsequent detection will start t e timed period again
from t e beginning.
■ ATTENTION:
1. B for any l ctrical work, nsur mains supply cabl is isolat d by switching off and r moving th r lativ fus .
2. Th r ar not any s rvicing parts insid , do not att mpt to modify or s rvic th unit.
3. It is normal that th load will d lay s v ral s conds to b turn d on wh n pow r on.
