SAFETYNOTES
1.1Operationofliftingplatforms
Thisliftisspeciallydesignedforliftingmotorvehicles.Usersarenotallowedtouseitforanyotherpurposes.Theapplicablenational
regulations,lawsanddirectivesmustbeobserved.
Onlyusersaged18orabovewhohavebeeninstructedonhowtooperatetheliftingplatformandhaveproventheirabilitytodosotothe
owneraretobeentrustedwithunsupervisedoperationofliftingplatforms.Thetaskofoperatingtheliftingplatformsmustbegrantedin
writing.
Beforeloadingavehicleontotheliftingplatform,usersshouldstudytheoriginaloperationinstructionsandfamiliarizethemselveswiththe
operatingproceduresinseveraltrialruns.
Liftvehiclewithintheratedload.Don’tattempttoraisevehicleswithexcessiveweight.
1.2Checkingoftheliftingplatforms
Checksaretobebasedonthefollowingdirectivesandregulations:

Theuserbearsspecialresponsibilityifemployeesofthecompanyareappointedasexpertsorqualifiedpersons.
1.2.1Scopeofchecking
Regularcheckingessentiallyinvolvesperformingavisualinspectionandafunctionaltest.Thisincludescheckingtheconditionofthe
componentsandequipment,checkingthatthesafetysystemsarecompleteandfunctioningproperlyandthattheinspectionlogbookis
completelyfilledin.Thescopeofexceptionalcheckingdependsonthenatureandextentofanystructuralmodificationorrepairwork.
1.2.2Regularchecking
Afterinitialcommissioning,liftingplatformsaretobecheckedbyaqualifiedpersonatintervalsofnotlongerthanoneyear.
Aqualifiedpersonissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossesssufficientknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhois
sufficientlyfamiliarwiththepertinentnationalregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesof
engineeringtobeabletoassessthesafeoperatingconditionofliftingplatforms.
1.2.3Exceptionalchecking
Liftingplatformswithaliftheightofmorethan2metersandliftingplatformsintendedforusewithpeoplestandingundertheloadbearing
elementsoftheloadaretobecheckedbyanexpertpriororreusefollowingstructuralmodificationsandmajorrepairstoloadbearing
components.

Anexpertissomebodywiththetrainingandexperiencerequiredtopossessspecialistknowledgeofliftingplatformsandwhoissufficiently
familiarwiththepertinentnationalworksafetyregulations,accidentpreventionregulationsandgenerallyacknowledgedrulesof
engineeringtobeabletocheckandgiveanexpertoptiononliftingplatforms.
1.3Importantsafetynotices
1.3.1DOnotexposethelifttorain,snoworexcessivemoisture.
1.3.2Onlyusethisliftonasurfacethatisstable,levelanddryandnotslippery,andcapableofsustainingtheload.Donotinstallthelifton
anyasphaltsurface.
1.3.3Don’tusetheliftoutdoorinstrongbreezewhenthewindspeedexcesses14m/s.
1.3.4Readandunderstandallsafetywarningsbeforeoperatingthelift.
1.3.5Donotleavethecontrolswhiletheliftisstillinmotion.
1.3.6Keephandsandfeetawayfromanymovingparts.Keepfeetclearoftheliftwhenlowering.
1.3.7Onlytheseproperlytrainedpersonnelcanoperatethelift.
1.3.8Donotwearunfitclothessuchaslargeclotheswithflounces,tires,etc.,whichcouldbecaughtbymovingpartsofthelift.
1.3.9Topreventevitableincidents,surroundingareasoftheliftmustbetidyandwithnothingunconcerned.
1.3.10Theliftissimplydesignedtolifttheentirebodyofvehicles,withitsmaximumweightwithintheliftingcapacity.
1.3.11Alwaysinsurethesafetylocksareengagedbeforeanyattempttoworknearorunderthevehicle.Neverremovesafetyrelated
componentsfromthelift.Donotuseifsafetyrelatedcomponentsaredamagedormissing.
1.3.12Donotrockthevehiclewhileontheliftorremoveanyheavycomponentfromvehiclethatmaycauseexcessiveweightshift.
1.3.13Checkatanytimethepartsofthelifttoensuretheagilityofmovingpartsandtheperformanceofsynchronization.Ensureregular
maintenanceandifanythingabnormaloccurs,stopusingtheliftimmediatelyandcontactourdealersforhelp.
1.3.14Lowerthelifttoitslowestpositionanddoremembertocutoffthepowersourcewhenservicefinishes.
1.3.15Donotmodifyanypartsoftheliftwithoutmanufacturer’sadvice.
1.3.16Iftheliftisgoingtobeleftunusedforalongtime,usersarerequiredto:
a.Disconnectthepower;
b.Emptytheoiltank;
c.Lubricatethemovingpartswithhydraulicoil.

Packing,lifting,handling,transportingoperationsmustbeperformedonlybyexperiencedpersonnelwith
appropriateknowledgeoftheliftandafterreadingthismanual.

2.2Storage
Thepacksmustbekeptinacoveredandprotectedareainatemperaturerange0f‐10℃to+40℃.Theymustnotbeexposedtodirect
sunlight,rainorwater.
Stackingthepacks
Weadviseagainststackingbecausethepacksarenotdesignedforthistypeofstorage.Thenarrowbase,heavyweightandlargesizeofthe
packsmakestackingdifficultandpotentiallydangerous.
Ifstackingisunavoidable,useallappropriateprecautions:
‐neverstacktomorethan2metersinheight.
‐nevermakestacksofsinglepacks.Alwaysstackpairsofpacksinacrosspatternsothatthebaseisbiggerandtheresultingstackismore
stable.Oncethestackiscomplete,restrainitusingstraps,ropesorothersuitablemethods.
Amaximumoftwopackscanbestackedonlorries,incontainers,andinrailwaywagons,onconditionthatthepacksarestrappedtogether
andrestrainedtostopthemfalling.
2.3Openingthepacks
Whentheliftisdeliveredmakesurethatithasnotbeendamagedduringtransportationandthatallthepartsspecifiedonthepackinglist
arepresent.
Packsmustbeopenedadoptingalltheprecautionsrequiredtoavoidinjurytopersons.
Takespecialcarewiththehydraulicpowerunit,thecontrolpanelandthecylinders.

4.1Preparationsbeforeinstallation
4.1.1Spacerequirements
Referto3.3forthedimensionsofthelift.Theremustalsobeaclearanceofatleast1meter(about39”)betweentheliftingplatformand
fixedelements(e.g.wall)inallliftingpositions.Theremustbesufficientspaceattheendsoftheliftingplatformfordrivingvehiclesonand
off.
Tostopvehiclescollidingwiththeceiling,itisadvisabletofitanoverheadlightbarrierinlowceilingbuildings.
4.1.2Foundationsandconnections
Theusermusthavethefollowingworkperformedbeforeerectingthelift.
Constructionofthefoundationfollowingconsultationwiththemanufacturer’scustomerserviceoranauthorizedserviceagent.
Routingofthewiringtotheinstallationlocation.Referalsotothecorrespondinginformationonthenameplateandintheoperation
instructions.Beforedoingelectricalconnection,makesuretheliftiselectricallyadapttothelocalpowersupply.
Theusermustprovidefuseprotectionfortheconnection.Requirementsforpowersupplycableoftheinstallationsite:atleast

Changetheoil6monthsafterinitialuseandchangeonceperyearthereafter.
Step7:Trialrunning.
Afterreviewingtheseinstructions,getfamiliarwithliftcontrolsbyrunningtheliftthroughafewcyclesbeforeloadingvehicleon
lift.
Thisstepisofparticularimportanceforitcancheckiftheoilhoseiswellconnected.Theconnectionisqualifiedwhenthereisno
abnormalsoundorleakageafterhavingbeentestedfor5‐6times.
Raiseandlowerliftseveraltimes.Thecylinderisself‐bleeding.Afterbleedingsystem,fluidlevelinpowerunitreservoirmaybedown.Add
morefluidifnecessarytoraiselifttofullheight.Itisonlynecessarytoaddfluidtoraiselifttofullheight.

1.Makesurethatyouhavereadandunderstoodtheoperationmanualbeforeoperation.
2.Loadvehicleonliftcarefully.Positiontheliftadapterstocontactatthevehiclemanufacturer’srecommendedliftpoints.
3.PushtheUPbuttontoraiseliftuntiladapterscontactvehicle.
4.Checkadaptersforsecurecontactwithvehicle.Raiselifttoexpectedworkingheight.
Lowerthelift
Whenloweringtheliftpaycarefulattentionthatallpersonnelandobjectsarekeptclear.
1.Releasethesafetylockbyholdingthemechanicallockreleasinghandlebeforeattemptingtolowerlift.
2.Pushdowntheloweringhandle.
3.Whentheliftisfullylowered,positiontheliftarmsandadapterstoprovideanunobstructedexitbeforeremovingvehiclefromliftarea.

ThefollowingpartsneedtobelubricatedwithNo.1lithiumbasegrease.
6.1.Dailycheckingitemsbeforeoperation
Theusermustperformdailycheck.Dailycheckofsafetylocksystemisveryimportant–thediscoveryofdevicefailurebeforeactioncould
saveyourtimeandpreventyoufromgreatloss,injuryorcasualty.
