Quick Start Guide
This machine is equipped with drive belts and
roller tubes moving at high rates of speed.
Keep hands, arms, and loose objects away
from drive belts and rollers at all times.
Misuse of this machine or failure to follow all
safety instructions on this machine and in the
instruction manual may result in serious per-
sonal injuries.

Turn Main Power "ON"
Note: Switching the main
power on will activate the
monitor and software.
2In the "Table Length Menu" set "Load
End" by pressing the "Find Load End"
or "Teach Load End" buttons. 3
Set "Table End" by selecting the
"Find Table End", "Teach Table
End", or "Enter Length" buttons.

Press "Main"

Verify all settings and ply counts, then press "Main" again

Note: Begin from step 10 if returning to your Saber E-Series and the
power was not switched off.
Set the spread using "Table End",
"Teach",or "Spread Length".
Note: When "Table End" is selected
the machine will automatically use
the Table End as endpoint. To teach
"Spread Length", press "Teach",
manually drive the spreader to your
start point, and press "End". "Spread
Length" requires entering a distance
relative to the start position.

Note: "Find Load End", the machine
travels until the limit switch is triggered.
When using " Teach Load End", drive
the machine to where you want to be-
gin the table, then press "Teach Load
End".

Note: "Find Table End", the machine travels
until the limit switch is triggered. To "Teach
Table End", the operator manually drives the
spreader to its end point, and "Enter Length"
requires typing in the length.

Press "Settings"
Press "Spread Length"

Set the start position using
"Home", "Teach", or "Offset From
Home".
Note: When "Home" is selected the
machine will automatically use the Load
End to start. To teach "Start Position",
press "Teach", manually drive the
spreader to your start point, and press
"Start. "Offset From Home" requires
distance relative to the home position.

Verify all settings and ply counts, then press "Main" again
(Along the bottom)
Manually set material to begin
spreading and conrm "Start
Direction". Press "Change
Direction" if necessary.

Note: The "Enter Length"
button is only enabled
when using "Find Load
End" to set the load posi-
tion.

to begin spreading.

1. Spread/Rewind: Sets cradle direction.
2. Overfeed: Additional cradle control for automatic feeding. Less decreases material, more increases material.
3. Cradle Jog: Controls manual cradle feeding. Press to manually feed material.
4. Bidirectional Throttle: For manual spreading, controls direction and speed of machine. Also may be used
to stop automatic spreading by twisting and releasing.
5. Open/Close: Toggle to open/close cradle.
6. Main Power: Activates the main power. Twist right on, twist left off.
7. Main Display: Touchscreen; PC used for software and machine control.
8. E-Stop: Emergency stop. Push on, twist off.
9. Mirror: Used to view the material in the cradle.
10. Edge Control Sensor: Detects the edge of the material being spread.
