General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user guide accompanies this Handheld Steam Cleaner and
contains important information on setup and handling. For
improved readability, the Handheld Steam Cleaner will be referred
to only as the “cleaner” below.
Before using the cleaner, read the user guide carefully. This particularly applies
to the safety notes. Failure to do so may result in personal injury or damage to
the cleaner. When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines
and laws.
Store the user guide for further use. Make sure to include this user guide when
passing the cleaner on to third parties.
Proper use
The cleaner is exclusively designed for the cleaning of fillings, tiles, mirrors,
windows and removal of stains from carpets and the like through high
temperature steam. It is only intended for private use and not suitable for
commercial purposes.
Only use the cleaner as described in this user guide. Any other use is
considered improper and may result in damage to property.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred
through improper or incorrect use.
Checking the cleaner and package contents
1. Check to make sure that all components and accessories have been
received (see fig. A).
2. Take the cleaner out of the packaging and check whether the cleaner or the
individual parts exhibit damages. If this is the case, do not use the cleaner.
Contact the manufacturer via the service address indicated on the warranty
card.

Safety notes
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following notes.
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE.
DO NOT THROW AWAY THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation, excessive line voltage or incorrect
operation may result in an electric shock.
− Connect the cleaner only to an alternating current (AC)
power supply. Make sure that the voltage corresponds
with the voltage details on the device. The cleaner must
be operated using (120 V / 60 Hz) alternating current (AC).
− Always connect the cleaner to a properly earthed socket.
− Do not use extension cords.
− Only connect the cleaner to an easily accessible socket so
that you can quickly pull the plug in an emergency.
− Never leave the cleaner unattended when it is connected
to the power socket. Disconnect the power after every use.
− Always unplug the cleaner from the power socket before
refilling it with water.
− Make sure that your hands are dry before using the
cleaner, before touching the plug or power connections.
− Do not use the cleaner if the housing or cord is defective
or has other visible damages. In the event of damage,
only have the cleaner serviced by the manufacturer, its
customer service team or a similarly qualified person to
avoid risks.
− Always pull the plug out of the socket:
• before you fill the cleaner with water,
• before you clean the cleaner,
• if a fault occurs,
• in the event of a storm.

Safety
12
WARNING!
Danger for children and persons with impaired physical,
sensory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced physical and mental
capacities) or lack of experience and knowledge (e.g.
older children).
− The cleaner can be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the cleaner in
a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
− The cleaner shall not be used by children. Keep the
cleaner and its cord out of reach of children. Children shall
not play with the cleaner.
− Make sure that children do not play with the plastic
wrapping. They may get caught in it when playing and
suffocate.
− When disposing of the cleaner, it must be made
inoperative by cutting off the power cord. Also remember
to make any potentially hazardous parts of the cleaner
safe, as there is a risk that children may play with them.
WARNING!
Risk of burns from high temperature steam!
Improper handling of the cleaner may result in injury caused by
high temperature steam.
− If the steam button is pressed before the boiler tank has
reached the optimum temperature, then water instead of
steam could come out of the nozzle.
− Never touch the hot surfaces while using the cleaner. Let
accessories completely cool down before replacing them.
− Even when the cleaner is not in operation, unplug it from
the power supply and let it cool down before inserting or
removing accessories, or before cleaning it.
ZUR FREIGABE

Safety
13
−IMPORTANT! Danger of scalding.
NEVER OPEN THE SAFETY CAP ON THE BOILER TANK DURING
USE.
−IMPORTANT! Before loosening the cap, proceed as follows:
• disconnect the power cord from the mains socket;
• exhaust the residual pressure inside the boiler, by
pressing the steam bush button on the nozzle, direct
the jet into an appropriate container;
• leave the appliance to cool for a few minutes;
• partially and slowly unscrew the safety cap and wait
some seconds;
• completely unscrew and remove the safety cap.
− The cleaner is very hot after use. The safety cap can only
be removed when the steam pressure in the boiler tank is
under 0.35 bar (around 5 psi). Let the cleaner cool down
after use before emptying the boiler tank or removing the
accessories.
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the cleaner may result in injury.
− Never point steam jets in the direction of people, animals
or plants or towards appliances that contain electrical
parts (e.g. oven interiors).
− Lay the cord of the cleaner so that it does not pose a
tripping hazard.
− Do not tilt the cleaner more than 45° from its upright
position while it is being used inorder to prevent hot
water from leaking out of the boiler tank.
ZUR FREIGABE

Safety
14
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the cleaner may result in damages.
− Do not use the cleaner in any ways other than the
intended use. The cleaner is for household use only.
− Never leave the cleaner exposed to the rain, direct
sunlight, dust, extreme temperatures, etc.
− Never place the cleaner on or near sources of heat.
− Make sure the cord is not hanging over the edge of a table
or counter, or touching hot surfaces.
− Make sure the cord is free of twists, kinks and knots.
− Never direct steam jets onto the cleaner itself.
− Never open the housing of the cleaner.
− Never immerse the body of the cleaner, plug or power
cord in water or other liquids; instead clean them with a
damp cloth.
− Before using the cleaner, make sure that all items,
surfaces and fabrics to be cleaned are resistant to or
compatible with the high temperature of the steam.
Specifically, treated terracotta flooring, wooden surfaces
or delicate fabrics, such as silk or velvet, should not be
treated without first consulting the instructions from the
manufacturer and carrying out a test on a small hidden
sample part.
− Never use the cleaner in swimming pools containing
water.
− Never add scale removers, fragrances, alcohols or
detergents into the boiler tank, as these could damage
the cleaner. We recommend filling with tap water or
alternatively, with 50 % demineralized water and 50 %
tap water in areas where the water is very hard.
− Before connecting the cleaner to power, make sure that
there is sufficient water inside the boiler tank. If it is
necessary to refill the boiler tank during use, see chapter
ZUR FREIGABE

Keep the user guide for future reference.
15
“Filling the water tank during use”.
− Clean the boiler tank at least once a month so as to
eliminate any scale residues that might affect the normal
operation of the cleaner.
− Never use the glass wiper if the surface to be cleaned is
cold. The thermal movement could cause the glass surface
to break. In cold seasons, where the temperature is
particularly low, pre-heat the glass surface with steam jets
from a distance of about 16 inches.
− When using the cleaner for the first time or after a long
pause, direct the steam jet into a container to eliminate
any excess water.
− When using the flexible pipe, before releasing the
steam, direct the jet into a container so as to remove the
condensate from the pipe.
− Do not make any modifications to the cleaner nor use any
accessories not provided by the manufacturer.
− Unplug the cleaner by gripping the plug firmly and
pulling it out of the power socket. Never unplug the
cleaner by pulling on the power cord.
− Any changes to the cleaner not expressly authorized by
the manufacturer may make safety devices inoperative
and will also render the user’s warranty null and void.
