General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual is part of this Cordless handheld stick vacuum cleaner
(subsequently referred to simply as “product”). It contains important in-
formation on setup and use.
Before using the product, read the user manual carefully. This
particularly applies to the safety instructions. Failure to follow this user manual may
result in serious injury or damage to the product.
Store the user manual for future use. Make sure to include this user manual when
passing the product on to third parties.
Proper use
This product is designed exclusively for vacuuming indoor areas. It is intended for
private use only and is not suitable for commercial purposes.
Use the product only as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed
improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The product
is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.

Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may result
in an electric shock.
− Use only the power adapter included in the package contents.
− Use the power adapter only in dry indoor areas. Do not let the
power adapter come into contact with water or other liquids.
− Connect the product only to a mains socket that corresponds
to the specification on the product’s rating plate.

− Connect the power adapter only to a properly installed and
easily accessible socket so that you can quickly pull the plug in
an emergency.
− Do not use the product if it is visibly damaged or if the power
adapter is defective.
− Contact an authorised specialist immediately to replace a
damaged power adapter, to prevent any hazards.
− Do not open the housing, but leave the repairs to a qualified
professional. Contact a qualified workshop for this. Liability
and warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs
performed by the user, improper connection or incorrect
operation.
− Only parts that comply with the original device data may be
used for repairs. This product contains electrical and mechanical
parts that are essential for protection against hazards.
− Do not operate the product with an external timer or separate
remote control system.
− Do not immerse the product or the power adapter in water or
other liquids.
− Do not touch the power adapter with wet hands.
− Never pull the mains plug out of the socket by its cord; instead,
always pull on the plug itself.
− Never attempt to transport, pull or carry the power adapter by
its cable.
− Keep the product and power adapter away from open flames
and hot surfaces.
− Lay the mains cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the mains cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
− Never store the product in a way that leaves it at risk of falling
into a bath tub or washbasin.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in
water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the mains plug
from the socket.

− Make sure that children do not insert any objects into the product.
− When you are not using the product, when you are cleaning it,
or if a fault occurs, always switch the product off and remove
the power adapter from the socket.
− Do not charge or use this product outdoors or in wet places.
− Do not use the power adapter with an extension cable;
instead, plug it directly into a mains socket.

− This product may be used by children ages eight and over

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by

− Do not leave the product unattended while it is in operation.
Keep children under close supervision when using the product
around them.
− Do not let children play with the packaging wrapper. Children
may get caught in it when playing and suffocate.

WARNING!
Risk of explosion and chemical burns!
There is a risk of explosion associated with the improper handling
of normal and rechargeable batteries. You may suffer acid burns
when coming into contact with leaking battery acid.
− This product contains rechargeable batteries. Do not throw the
batteries into fire and do not expose them to high temperatures.
− Do not allow the battery acid to come into contact with skin,
eyes or mucous membranes. In the event of contact with acid,
immediately flush the applicable areas with plenty of clean
water and consult a physician if necessary.
− Use only the included power adapter (ZD024D265075AU) to
recharge the product.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
Improper handling of the product can lead to injury.
− Do not aim the product at other people or animals.
− Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other body parts away
from the suction openings and moving parts, e.g. the rotating
brush roll.
− Do not use the product to vacuum up liquids.
− Do not use the product to vacuum up sharp objects or glass
shards.
− Do not use the product to vacuum up burning matches,
smouldering ashes or cigarette butts.
− The product is not suitable for flammable and explosive
substances or chemical and aggressive liquids.
− Do not use the product to vacuum up chemical products, stone
dust, gypsum, cement or other similar particles.

− Always switch the product off and pull the power adapter out
of the socket before you empty the dust container, clean the
nozzles or swap out accessories.
− Under extreme conditions the battery cells may start leaking.
If battery fluid comes into contact with skin or eyes, wash and
rinse the affected area immediately with clean water. Consult a
physician.
− Exercise special caution when using the product on stairs.
− When the product is in use, always keep the nozzles away from
body parts or animals and do not reach inside the nozzles.
Otherwise, the nozzles may get stuck and cause injury. Should
an object ever be caught in the nozzles, switch off the product
immediately.
− Do not apply any fragrances or perfumed products on the
filters. Such products contain flammable chemicals, which can
cause the appliance to catch fire.
NOTICE!

Improper handling of the product can damage the product.
− Use the product only when all filters are correctly inserted.
− Before using the product, check if all parts on the product have
been correctly installed.
− Keep the product, wall bracket and power adapter away from
hot surfaces.
− Never place the product on or near hot surfaces (e.g. hobs).
− Ensure that the power adapter does not come into contact
with hot parts. Do not use the product outdoors or in areas
with high air humidity.
− Never expose the product to high temperatures (heaters, etc.)
or to the influence of weather (rain, etc.).
− Never fill the product with liquids.

First use

− Never immerse the product in water or use a steam cleaner to
clean the device. Otherwise, the product could be damaged.
− Do not continue to use the product if any of its plastic parts are
cracked, broken or deformed. Replace damaged parts with
corresponding original spare parts only.
− Use only accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
− Do not use the power adapter to charge other appliances and
do not try to charge this product using another charging station.
Use only the power adapter supplied with this product.
− Ensure that you do not place the product beside heaters,
ovens or other heated appliances or surfaces.
− Always make sure that the vents are not obstructed. If air
circulation is obstructed, the product may overheat and
become damaged.
− The batteries in this product cannot be removed or replaced.
− Do not run the floor nozzle over wires, cables, objects with
fringes, or other similar items, as they may get entangled in
the rotating brush roll and become damaged.

Checking the product and package contents
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you do not take care when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointed object, the product can quickly become
damaged.
− Be very careful when opening.
1. Take the product out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that all parts are included (see Fig. A).
3. Check whether the product or the individual parts are damaged. If this is the case,
do not use the product. Contact the manufacturer at the service address specified
on the warranty card.

Installing the wall bracket
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
Improper handling of the product may result in electric shock.
− Before you start drilling into a wall, ensure that there are no
electrical wires or water pipes in it. Drilling into a live wire may
cause fatal injury!
Choosing the installation location
− Find a suitable location to install the wall bracket, where the product will not
be exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of heat. There should be a mains
socket close by that the power adapter can reach.
Installation
1. Using the mounting holes on the wall bracket 19 as a template, mark the
positions of the holes to be drilled on the wall.
2. Insert the nozzle holders 20 in the designated slots on the wall bracket (see Fig. B).
3. Use an electric drill 28 to drill holes at the marked positions and insert the
dowels 23 into the holes (see Fig. C).
4. Tighten the screws 24 such that the screwhead sticks out a few millimetres. Use
the designated holes to mount the wall bracket on the two screws. Ensure that the
screws are inserted properly into the mounting holes. The wall bracket should be
as flush with the wall as possible.
5. Insert the nozzles 14 / 15 / 16 into the nozzle holders on the wall bracket’s
sides.
Charging the batteries
The battery status indicator 10 shows the batteries’ charge level. If the batteries are
running low, all bars will flash for a few seconds before the product switches off by
itself.
While the batteries are charging, one of the bars will keep flashing to indicate the
current charge level. The batteries are fully charged when all bars light up.
Recharge the batteries only when the product’s suction is weak.

Attaching accessories

• The product cannot be used while it is being charged.
• Charging takes approx. 4 hours. When charging is complete, the
product will automatically switch to trickle charging. Nevertheless,
do not leave the product permanently connected to the mains
supply to avoid damaging the batteries.
Charging the product directly
− Plug the power adapter into a mains socket and insert its connector into the
charging port on the product 2(see Fig. D).
Charging the product via the wall bracket
− Plug the power adapter into a mains socket and insert its connector into the
charging port on the wall bracket 13 . Place the handheld section 11 on the
wall bracket (see Fig. E).
Attaching accessories
You can either:
• install the nozzles 14 / 15 / 16 / 22 directly on the handheld
section 11 or
• connect the long tube 17 to the handheld section first and then
install the nozzles on the tube.
− Slide the attachment you require into the connector on the handheld section or
into the long tube until it clicks audibly into place.
− To remove an attachment, press the PUSH release button on the handheld
section or on the tube 12 / 18 and take the attachment off.
− Use the clip in the middle to attach the nozzle holder 25 to the tube. You can
then attach up to two nozzles at the sides of the holder.
Floor nozzle
The floor nozzle 22 is suitable for both carpets and smooth flooring.
Small brush nozzle
The small brush nozzle 14 is suitable for gently cleaning small objects
(e.g. keyboards and electrical appliances).
Large brush nozzle
The large brush nozzle 15 is suitable for gently cleaning upholstery, window sills,
and uneven objects (e.g. such as furniture, lamps and skirting boards).

Using the product

Long crevice nozzle
The long crevice nozzle 16 is suitable for cleaning all kinds of narrow, hard-to-reach
areas (e.g. crevices in furniture, and radiator fins).
Using the product
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product can damage the product.
− The suction opening must be unobstructed at all times.
Obstruction in the opening may cause the motor to overheat
and become damaged.
− If the floor nozzle is blocked and the brush roll can no longer
rotate, the product will switch off automatically. The LEDs will
start flashing alternately. If this happens, remove the blockage
as described in chapter “Cleaning the brush roll”. Then press
the On/Off switch once before you start using the product
again.
Before each use (especially prior to first use), ensure that the HEPA
filter 3and filter holder 4have been properly positioned in the
dust container. If necessary, push the filter holder slightly into the dust
container.
1. Disconnect the power adapter 21 from the product and remove the handheld
section 11 from the wall bracket 19 .
2. Attach any required accessories (see chapter “Attaching accessories”).
3. Switch the product on by pushing the On/Off switch 9. The battery status
indicator 10 will light up. The symbol “max” will light up when ECO mode is
deactivated (see Fig. F).
ECO mode
This product is equipped with ECO mode, which makes it consume less energy and
run quieter. You can also activate this mode while the product is in operation.
− To activate ECO mode, press the ECO button 1.
The “eco” symbol will light up (see Fig. F).
− Press the ECO button once more to deactivate ECO mode.
The “eco” symbol will go out.

− Never submerge the product in water or other liquids.
− Make sure that no water or other liquids penetrate the housing.

Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the product can damage the product.
− Do not use any aggressive cleaners, brushes with metal or
nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning utensils such as
knives, hard scrapers and the like. They could damage the
surfaces.

− Never place the product in a dishwasher. It would be
destroyed as a result.
− Disconnect the power adapter 21 from the product or remove the handheld
section 11 from the wall bracket 19 .
− Let the product cool down completely.
− Allow all parts to dry completely after cleaning.
Empty the dust container and clean the HEPA filter
1. Slide the MOVE release button 8downwards to release the dust container 5
from the handheld section 11 (see Fig. G).
2. Hold the dust container over a dustbin. Press the PUSH release button 7. The
lid 6on the dust container will flip open (see Fig. H).
3. Empty the dust container.
4. Close the lid and make sure it clicks audibly into place.

out of the dust container.
6. Remove the HEPA filter from the filter holder. Tap both parts above a dustbin to
remove the accumulated dirt. You can wash the filter holder and HEPA filter with
clean water. Subsequently, let the HEPA filter air-dry completely.
7. Replace the dry HEPA filter back into the filter holder.
8. Slide the filter holder back into the dust container.
9. Reinstall the dust container on the handheld section. To do so, place the plastic
hook on the dust container into the notch on the underside of the handheld
section. Then tilt the dust container towards the handheld section until it sits
properly in place. Ensure that the MOVE release button snaps fully into the
handheld section again at the top.
Cleaning the brush roll
Check the brush roll 27 regularly for blockages. Remove any hair, strings or dirt
accumulated on the brush roll.
Take the brush roll out of the floor nozzle 22 to make cleaning easier.
Removing the brush roll
1. Disconnect the floor nozzle 22 from the long tube 17 or the handheld section 11 .
2. Slide the release latch 26 (located on the underside of the floor nozzle) all the
way outwards. Remove the brush roll 27 (see Fig. I).

Reinstalling the brush roll
1. Slide the release latch 26 all the way outwards.
2. Place one end of the brush roll 27 onto the drive shaft located on the side
opposite to the release latch. Only one side of the brush roll will fit on the drive
shaft.
3. Insert the other end of the brush roll into the corresponding notch under the
release latch.
4. Let go of the release latch.
5. Before you use the floor nozzle, ensure that the brush roll has been properly
installed.
Cleaning the housing and accessories
− Wipe down the housing and accessories using a slightly damp cloth. To remove
stubborn dirt, add some mild detergent to the cloth.
Storage
All parts must be completely dry before being stored.
− Always store the product in a dry location.
− Protect the product from direct sunlight.
− Store the product out of reach of children, securely locked away and at a storage
temperature of between 5 °C and 20 °C (room temperature).
