Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this handheld wet/dry vacuum
cleaner (hereafter referred to as the handheld vacuum cleaner).
It contains important information about safety and use.
Before using the handheld vacuum cleaner, read the user manual
carefully. This particularly applies to the safety instructions.
Failure to heed this user manual may result in severe injury or damage to the
handheld vacuum cleaner.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the handheld vacuum cleaner
on to third parties, please be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the
handheld vacuum cleaner or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate risk, which may result in death
or severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION! This signal symbol/word designates a low-risk

Proper use
The handheld vacuum cleaner is only designed for vacuuming up loose dry dirt
such as dust, lint, crumbs as well as water or other liquids around your home
and in your car (max. 5.07fl oz (150 ml)). It is intended only for private use and is
not suitable for commercial purposes.
Only use the handheld vacuum cleaner as described in this user manual. Using
it in any other way is deemed improper and may result in damage to property
or even personal injury. The handheld vacuum cleaner is not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor cannot be held liable for damages incurred
through improper or incorrect use.

DANGER - TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK,
CAREFULLY FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. The Power supply is certified according to the relevant
safety standards UL 1310.
2. The output power taken from the supply must not exceed
the rating given on the adaptor.
3. The switching power supply is not intended to be repaired
by service personnel in case of failure or component
defect (unit can be thrown away)
4. The equipment disconnect device is considered to be
appliance Plug.
5. This power unit is intended to be correctly orientated in a
vertical or floor mount position.
6. For connection to a supply not in the U.S.A, use an
attachment plug adapter of the proper configuration for
the power outlet, if needed.
7. Charge the handheld vacuum cleaner using the enclosed
power adapter only.

handheld vacuum cleaner

Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive line voltage may result
in an electric shock.
− Connect the handheld vacuum cleaner only if the power
voltage of the socket corresponds to the nameplate
specification of the power adapter.
− Only connect the power adapter to an easily accessible
socket so that you can quickly disconnect it from the
power supply in the event of a fault.
− Do not operate the handheld vacuum cleaner if it is visibly
damaged or if the power adapter is defective.
− Use the enclosed power adapter only to charge the
rechargeable batteries of the handheld vacuum cleaner.
− The connector cord of the power adapter cannot be
replaced. Dispose of the power adapter if it is damaged
and replace it with a power adapter of the same type.
− Never open the housing of the handheld vacuum
cleaner; instead, have a qualified professional perform
the repairs. Contact a qualified workshop for this. Liability
and warranty claims are waived in the event of repairs
performed by the user, improper connection or incorrect
operation.

− Only parts that comply with the original device data
may be used for repairs. This handheld vacuum cleaner
contains electrical and mechanical parts which are
essential for protecting against sources of danger.
− Do not immerse the handheld vacuum cleaner or the
power adapter in water or other liquids.
− Never touch the power plug with damp hands.
− Never pull the power adapter out of the socket by the
connector cord; instead, always do so by taking hold of the
power plug.
− Never use the connector cord as a carrying strap.
− Keep the handheld vacuum cleaner and the power
adapter away from open fire and hot surfaces.
− Lay the connector cord so that it does not pose a tripping
hazard.
− Do not kink the connector cord and do not lay it over sharp
edges.
− Only use the handheld vacuum cleaner indoors. Never
operate it in wet rooms or in the rain.
− Never store the vacuum cleaner so that it is at risk of falling
into a bath tub or washbasin.
− Make sure that children do not insert any objects into the
handheld vacuum cleaner.
− Do not leave the handheld vacuum cleaner unattended
while in operation.
− Always switch the handheld vacuum cleaner off and pull
the power plug out of the socket when you are not using
it, when you intend to clean it, or in the event of a fault.
− Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner if your hands
are wet, if you are standing on wet ground, or if it is wet.
