EM4PBLSC LIVE SIDE CONNECTION (up to 125A)

IMPORTANT NOTES
1. This product should be installed, commissioned and maintained by or under the supervision of a competent electrician in
accordance with current electrical engineering Codes of Practice, Requirements for the Electrical Installations (IET Wiring
Regulations BS7671), Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, HSG150 - Health and Safety in Construction, Statutory
requirements and any Specific instruction issued by the Company.
2. After completing the installation and testing of this product it is essential that this leaflet is drawn to the attention of the
person responsible for its future operation and maintenance, and is at all times available for ready reference.
3. These notes assume throughout that the product is disconnected from the supply. It is essential that this is done before any
work is carried out.
4. These Panelboards are only designed for use with Eaton MCCBs. Failure to comply will result in invalid warranty and
certification.

Double Insulated Cable –length and rating as required 4 Qty –To feed the Exel 2
M8 Cable Lugs - rating as required 4 Qty –To connect the live side connector
Cable Ferrule - rating as required 4 Qty –To connect the cable to the Exel 2.
Exel 2 –TPN Fuse Switch Disconnector –Rating as required 1 Qty –Eaton list numbers -
M12 Incomer Cable lugs –See Incomer type for Lugs required (Page 2).
LIVE SIDE CONNECTION - GENERAL ARRAGEMENT - UP TO 125A
A live side connection, off the incoming MCCB, can be fitted using the supplied copper connectors.
Double insulated cable is used to feed an Exel 2 TPN Fuse Switch disconnector enclosure.

400A INCOMER METER KIT - EM4PBK404M
Fit the ‘Live Side Connectors’ on top of the incoming M12 cable lugs
and screw down onto the CT extension palms. Connect the Exel double
insulated feed cables to the ‘Live side connectors’ using M8 cable lugs.

Fit the ‘Live Side Connectors’ on top of the incoming M12 cable lugs
and screw down onto the MCCB terminal. Connect the Exel double
insulated feed cables to the ‘Live side connectors’ using M8 cable lugs.
800A INCOMER KIT - EM4PBK804
Fit the ‘Live Side Connectors’ on top of the incoming M12 cable lugs
and screw down onto the extension palms. Connect the Exel double
insulated feed cables to the ‘Live side connectors’ using M8 cable lugs.

Fit the ‘Live Side Connectors’ on top of the incoming M12 cable lugs
and screw down onto the CT extension palms. Connect the Exel double
insulated feed cables to the ‘Live side connectors’ using M8 cable lugs.
