1 Introduction
The Ekahau T301-B Multi Charger is a charger device for charging the Ekahau T301-B tags.
1.1 Features of T301-B Multi Charger
● Stylish design for public spaces.
● Can charge up to 10 T301-B tags at the time
● Is compatible globally, supports input voltage from 100VAC to 240VAC, 50-60 Hz.
● Can be daisy chained with a single power input only (max 10 / input )
● Multiple mounting options for attaching the charger on a wall.
● Comes with a support handle for desk mounting.

3 Mounting options
3.1 Wall mounting - single charger
When mounting a single charger, first mount the screw on the wall vertically aligned, 270mm (10.63
inches) apart. Then place the charger to match the screws with the holes in the charger and slide
firmly down to secure in place.

3.2 Wall mounting - multiple chargers
When mounting multiple chargers in a row, it is recommended to use a DIN rail to ensure the
chargers will be level. First mount the rail and the screws on the wall as described in Wall mounting
- multiple chargers on page 8 . Then place the chargers on the rail and slide down to secure in
to the screw. USE 15 mm wide top-hat rail (EN 50045, BS 6273).

3.3 Desk mounting
The charger is equipped with a special handle for desk mounting. Turn out the handle, and place
the charger on top of a desk as shown in the picture below.

4 Technical specifications
4.1 General
● Outside Dimensions : 6.93 x 12.60 x 1.97 in / 176 x 320 x 50 mm.

● OUTPUT: 5VDC6A max.
● Outlet connector for daisy chaining, max 10 chargers chained
● Operating Temperature: 32 to 122ºF / 0 to 50 ºC.
● Storage Temperature: -40 to 140ºF / -40 to 60 ºC.
● Humidity: From 20% to 95 % non-condensing, relative humidity
4.2 Care and Maintenance
● Keep the charger dry. Precipitation, humidity and all types of liquids or moisture can contain
minerals that will corrode electronic circuits.
● Do not use or store the charger in dusty, dirty areas. The charger is not sealed from dust.
● Do not store the charger in hot areas. High temperatures can shorten the life of electronic
devices, and warp or melt certain plastics.
●Do not store the charger in cold areas. When it warms up (to its normal temperature), moisture
can form inside, which may damage electronic circuit boards.
● The operating temperature of the charger is 0 to 50 ºC. Do not operate the charger outside
this temperature range.
● Do not try to open the charger.
● Do not drop, knock or shake the charger. Rough handling can break internal circuit boards.
● Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to clean the charger.
● Do not paint the charger. Paint can clog the moving parts, affect the radio communication and
prevent proper operation.
● Use a soft, clean and dry cloth to clean the charger.

5 Limited warranty
Ekahau warrants that the T301-B Multi Charger will operate in accordance with and substantially
conform to their published specifications when shipped or otherwise delivered to the end user and
for a period of 1 year thereafter, provided, however, that Ekahau does not warrant any claim or
damage under this Warranty if such claim or damage results from:
1. Misuse, neglect, accident or improper installation or maintenance of the chargers,
2. Chargers that have been altered, modified, repaired or tampered with by anyone other than
Ekahau,
3. Use of the Chargers not in compliance with their respective documentation, user manuals,
instructions, and any usage restrictions contained therein, including, but not limited to, the
provisions relating to the environment and ranges where the tags must be used, or
4. Accident, fire, power failure, power surge, or other hazard.
Otherwise, the Chargers are sold AS IS. In no event does Ekahau warrant that the Chargers are
error free or that end user will be able to operate the Chargers without problems or interruptions.
End User is responsible for using the Chargers within their specifications as contained in the
Documentation.
