2,2V. In this case it’s possible going on to use the same battery till the same begins to limit its
functioning and performances. When the led is off it’s necessary to substitute the battery. To increase
the lasting time of it, when no key is pressed, the keypad works in a stand-by status with lower
consumption. With pression of one of the keys, the keypad goes back to the normal function
operativity.
Battery substitution
To substitute the battery, please follow these following steps:
1. Keep off the screw on the inferior side of the keypad
2. With a light pressure on the side of the box, slide the slipcover towards the external side.
3. Keep off the battery without using any metallic tools. The battery is inserted through pressure
in a fitting site for this kind of component without hooks or little metallic tongues which needs to
be removed.
4. Insert a similar battery, of the same kind and same voltage, in the correct sense. The battery
must go in its fitting site with a little pressure but without any other forcing acts.
5. Close the slipcover of the littel box, sliding this last towards the central body of the keypad.
6. Mount again the metallic blocking screw.
WARNING!
During the substitution of the battery, after keeping off the little screw, the box (made up of two
indipendent parts) can be completely opened. Once opened, the keycovers are free and no
more stopped in their original fitting site. So pay attention not to lose these keycovers and the
other free little parts!
