1. Cut red marked area of components before installation.
2. Skip two particular screws at the installation of bottom strip.
3. Also skip two particular screws at the rear and top cover closing.
4. Adjust lenght of USB cable to approximately 200 mm and move it through cutting in side prole. Cable type
depends to type of free USB connector on mainboard.* Solder cable to reader. It can happen, that the piece
which is installation executed on, already consists cabel with free wires.
Note: It is not possible to move cable through hole in side profile after soldering.
5. Stick reader on bottom box cover with two layers of doublesided thick sticker tape to provide bigger gap
between module and bottom box cover.
6. Put upper box cover on bottom cover.
7. Connect USB cable to free USB connector on mainboard.
8. Fix reader holder to the Uniq 150 after closing Uniq 150 covers and installation side prole.
9. Bond reader to the holder with doublesided sticker tape.

2.13.1. Bluetooth installation
1. Put Bluetooth module to extension cord and metal part of module cover with insulation tape to prevent accidental
electric shortcut.
2. Extension cord end with Bluetooth put on rear hinge joint with two crossed ties.
I. It is necessaary to adjust extension cord if Bluetooth is installed into Tx execution:
a. Cut USB AM (male) connector from cable end and insulate wire ends.
b. Cable with connectors split to half and insulate wire ends.
c. Put tubing on those wires and solder cable on the extension cord.
d. Cover soldered places with tubing and shrink with hot air.
3. Other end of cable conenct to the mainboard connector:
Nx – to connector USB_C45 (N270) or USB1 (D525)
Tx – to connector USB01 (N270) or USB2 (D525)
4. (** only Nx execution.) Roll extension cord to provide optimal lenght and x with tie.

2.13.2. WiFi installation into hinge
Installation of WiFi antennas into hinge connectors module is performed if aluminium covers are not adjusted to
such installation (covers has not milled cavity for antennas setup).
1. Shrink tubing using temperature 240°C to diameter about 5 mm.
2. Put shrinked tubing on the antenna, warm it using temperature 140°C and atten tubing.
3. Split doublesided tape lenghtwise and stick those pieces one on another to provide bigger thickness. Stick tape to
the antenna. Note that copper antenna side with its wire is on the another side as doublesided tape is!
4. Prepared antenna stick into the hinge.
5. Screw adapter to WiFi module.
6. Connect WiFi module with adapter to miniPCI connector CN4 (N270) or CN1 (D525) of mainboard.
7. Antennas cables connect to MAIN and AUX connectors of WiFi module.

2.13.3. WiFi installation into milled covers
Some of the Uniq 150 covers has already milled cavities for setting WiFi antennas. In this case is more suitable set
antennas in those cavities.
1. Screw adapter to WiFi module.
2. Connect WiFi module with adapter to miniPCI connector CN4 (N270) or CN1 (D525) of mainboard.
3. Antennas cables connect to MAIN and AUX connectors of WiFi module.
4. Stick doublesided tape on both antennas from the side of cable. Let one side of tape covered, because antennas will
be sticked already after closing front and rear cover. Stick antennas into cavities. Defat cavities before sticking.
