Startup:
After power supply is switched on, the
teach-in mode is activated automatical-
ly for 2 minutes if the memory is empty
(as-delivered state) or if the teach-in
mode was not blocked. Teach-in stand-
by is alerted by a short beep.
Teach in wireless pushbutton:
Universal pushbutton: tap briefly 3 times;
Direction pushbutton: tap briefly 4 times;
Doorbell pushbutton: tap briefly 5 times.
Wireless window contact: Close and
open the window briefly 3 times;

GFVS: (EEP: A5-38-08) this automati-
cally switches on confirmation tele-
grams and blocks the teach-in mode.
After a pushbutton is taught in, it is
confirmed by a short acoustic signal;
the teach-in mode is active for a further
2 minutes.
To avoid teach-in by accident, the
teach-in mode is blocked automatically
2 minutes after the last teach-in if a
universal or a direction pushbutton was
previously taught in. This is alerted by
two short beeps.
Block teach-in mode immediately:
Tap the pushbutton under the front
panel or an already taught-in direction
pushbutton 3 times short and once long
(>2 seconds). Blocking is signalled by
two beeps.
Unblock teach-in mode:
Tap the pushbutton under the front panel
or an already taught-in direction push-
button 4 times short and once long
(>2 seconds).
Teach-in standby is signalled by a short
beep.
Clear memory content completely
(restore as-delivered state):
1. Switch the power supply off and on.
2. Tap the pushbutton under the front
panel or an already taught-in direction
pushbutton 8 times short and once
long (>2 seconds).
Clear is signalled by a short acoustic
signal.
3. Apply on 'Teach in wireless push-
button'.
Switch on/off confirmation telegrams:
1. Switch the power supply off and on.
2. Tap the pushbutton under the front
panel or an already taught-in direction
pushbutton 7 times short and once
long (>2 seconds).
ON is signalled by two short acoustic
signals.
OFF is signalled by a short acoustic
signal.
Deactivate acoustic signal generator
for alarm:
1. Switch the power supply off and on.
2. Tap the pushbutton under the front
panel or an already taught-in direction
pushbutton 5 times short and once
long (>2 seconds).
Deactivation is signalled by two short
acoustic signals.
Activate acoustic signal generator for
alarm (as-delivered state):
1. Switch the power supply off and on.
2. Tap the pushbutton under the front
panel or an already taught-in direction
pushbutton 6 times short and once
long (>2 seconds).
Activation is indicated by a short
acoustic signal.
Switch on alarm standby:
(Alarm readiness is always active for
smoke alarm and water sensors)
Press top of direction pushbutton. The
actuator is on alarm standby and
ON
is
signalled by a triple acoustic signal.
If a
monitored window is open or is opened
within 30 seconds after the alarm system
is enabled, a cyclical signal sounds imme-
diately indicating that the window is open.
The signal stops immediately the window
is closed
. After 30 seconds, incoming
telegrams are evaluated by taught-in
sensors and the alarm is triggered if ne-
cessary.
After a power failure, the actuator returns
automatically to alarm standby.
Confirmation telegram: (ORG5) 0x30 =
alarm standby ON
Switch alarm standby or alarm off:
Press bottom direction pushbutton or
press the pushbutton under the front
panel for 10 seconds and then release.
Alarm standby is switched off and OFF
is signalled by a short beep.
Confirmation telegram: (ORG5) 0x10 =
alarm standby OFF
When an alarm occurs, a beep sounds

alarm
occurs

a

every 1-second. The beep stops auto-
matically after 3 minutes
(the time starts
from zero at each incoming alarm tele-
gram) but an alarm confirmation telegram
(if activated) is
still sent every 1 second
for ON and every
9 seconds for OFF.
Switch alarm off:
Press bottom direction pushbutton or
press the pushbutton under the front
panel for 10 seconds and then release.
The alarm stops immediately.
When teaching in wireless window
contacts or window handles, the alarm
switches on after a response lag time of
10 seconds when a window is opened.
If you close the window, the alarm does
not stop automatically. Switch it off
using 'Press bottom direction pushbutton'.
After wireless window/door contacts
FTKB-hg are taught in, the intelligent
intrusion detector is active even if the
alarm system is disabled. An alarm
sounds when the window is opened in
locked and tilt position.
When teaching in FB65B or FBH65SB
motion sensors, the alarm switches on
after a response lag time of 10 seconds
when motion is detected.
Switch off the alarm using 'Press bottom
direction pushbutton'.
If a smoke detector FRWB or water
sensor is taught-in, the contact closes
immediately after receiving the alarm
telegram. In the event of an alarm end
telegram, the alarm does not stop auto-
matically. Switch it off using
'
Press bot-
tom direction pushbutton'.
If a doorbell pushbutton is pressed, an
acoustic signal is generated in an 2 se-
conds interval until the pushbutton is
released. (min. 3 times) If the doorbell
pushbutton stays pressed, the acoustic
signal stops after 1 minute. Alarm has
always priority over the doorbell.
When an universal pushbutton is
pressed, the alarm switches on after a
response lag time of 10 seconds. Switch
off the alarm using 'Press bottom direction
pushbutton'.
Teach in signal generator in actuators:
Press the pushbutton under the front
panel for 5 seconds and then release.
Send is signalled by two beeps.

(ORG7) 0x01000008 = Alarm on
0x01000009 = Alarm off
Unblock teach-in mode for a wireless
actuator with FIUS65:
Press the pushbutton under the front
panel for 20 seconds and then release.
