 Do not open the battery charger. Only qualifie personnel are authorize to perform repairs.

Preliminary operations
1 Place the battery char er in a ventilated site, sheltered from the weather, humidity or jets of water.
2 Do not cover the battery char e with cloths or close it in containers when operatin . The battery char er is
equipped with forced ventilation to better dissipate heat enerated when char ed.
3 Make sure the power volta e matches the one indicated on the label and in the instruction manual.
4 Connect the power cord to the electrical mains
5 Connect the char er wires to the battery observin polarity
The battery char er is protected a ainst polarity inversion. Pay the utmost attention connectin the red wire to the
positive terminal and the black wire to the ne ative terminal. Otherwise char in will not start.
After correctly connectin the battery, the char e starts indicated by the yellow LED turnin on.

Char e procedure selection
Use the black button on the front panel to select the most suitable battery char e procedure:
1. Normally connect the battery
2. Repeatedly press the button to select one of the three possible procedures from the sequence.
A LED will turn on for each selected char e method:
- Orange – 100% standard char e. The battery is char ed to the maximum admitted level, to
restore 100% of its capacity and provide maximum autonomy.
- Yellow – 90% “Lon Life” char e. This pro ram provides a more conservative char e that allows
the battery to support a hi her number of work cycles, sacrificin , however, about 10% of
autonomy. The battery must be partially depleted to select this pro ram.
- BLUE – 50% "stora e” char e- Select this char e to only char e 50% of the battery. In these
electrical conditions, the battery has a minimum self-depletion and is thus recommended for
prolon ed periods of stora e between 2 and 6 months. After 6 months, we recommend another
50% char e cycle. In order to select this cycle the battery volta e should be within 30 and 36 Volts
(without applied load) . The battery should be at ambient temperature (not warm) and should have
been rested at least two hours after the last dischar e/use before startin the char in process.
Note: the battery char er is automatically set for 100% char e when turned on. Partial char e levels (90% and
50%) may be selected in sequence by pressin the button but the selection will only be accepted by the battery
char e if actual battery char e is under the selected level. The battery char er does not have a dischar e function.
Thus the 50% char e cannot be selected for a battery with over 50% char e. Similarly, the 90% char e cannot be
selected for a fully char ed battery.
Maintenance and cleanin
The battery char er does not require periodic maintenance or calibration. Make sure the battery char er is always
clean and stored in a dry place.

Warranty
The battery char er is uaranteed for one year. The warranty does not cover dama es caused by ne lect or use
