Instructions
Unpack the System
Each component will be labeled with the
location inyour home Select a Panel Location: Tips
Find a location for the Connect+ panel with a power
source andat least onenetwork connection. Install
Connect+ centrally onthe main floor. Avoid
mounting near air ducts, appliances,or other large
metal objects. Put some space between Connect+
and the home router. Connect+includes a 6-foot
cable for this purpose.
Attach thebase station to
the panel.
Connect oneend oftheEthernet
cable toyour home router.
Disregard if using cellular communication.
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable
to the port on Connect+.
Install Door Sensors: Tips
Before installing the door sensor, check that itwill make
the keypad chime when you place the magnet next tothe
sensor and then remove it. Verify the location of the
sensor bylooking for the sticker on it. Check the
placement ofthe sensor on the door orwindow before
mounting ittoensure itwill function properly. Ensure
sensor isplaced on the non-hinged side of the door

Set Up the Control Panel

Connect to Power
On an available outlet plug,
unscrew faceplate screw, avoid
switched outlets.
Connect the power connector to
Connect+and thread thecable through
the strain relief peg.

Peel back theplastic cover on the mounting
tape, remove the battery tab and install the
sensor on the frame of the door.
Peel back the plastic cover on the mounting tape
and place the magnet onthe door so they are
aligned correctly (both lines and flat sides facing
each other).
Open the door and listen to make
sure the Connect+ chimes to
indicate the door was opened.
The motion sensor will cover a 40 feet
area with a 90 degree viewing angle.
Avoid installing the motion detector
near a heating/cooling vent orunder a
ceiling fan since that can increase the
likelihood ofa false alarm.
Attach mounting tape to either the sides or
back, depending on installation style. Sides
for corner mount (Blue),back for flat wall
(Red).
Remove the plastic cover onthe mounting
tape and mount it to the wall.

Mounting the Touchpad
For tablemounting slide the feet onto the
underside of the plastic enclosure. The fit
is intended to be quite snug so
some force may be
required forthe feet
to “click” into place.

attached template.

1. Test the sensors: Arm the system to AWAY and wait for the Exit Delay to expire. Open each door and window, this will cause the alarm
to sound for the duration that you are test the system. Once each door\window has been open and closed, at the keypad press disarm
and enter your 4 digit access code.
Call our monitoring center at 888-745-4733 to place your system on test for 1 hour. Mon - Sat: 8am-5pm
2. Test motion detectors: Arm the system to AWAY and wait for the Exit Delay to expire. Stay out of site from the motion. Wait for 3
minutes after the Exit Delay has expired and then walk in the area of the motion. After the alarm sounds, at the keypad press disarm and
enter your 4 digit access code.
3. Call our monitoring center at 888-745-4733 to verify that all of the alarm signals were logged in our system.
Your system is in test-mode for 10 days from shipment. If you need help, give us a call!
