LIMITED WARRANTY
Emerson Radio Corp. warrants manufacturing defects in original material,
including original parts and workmanship, under normal use and conditions,
for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of original purchase in the U.S.
With your dated proof of purchase, we will provide repair service at no charge
for labor and parts at an authorized Depot Repair Facility, or replace the
product in our discretion. For repair or replacement, pack your unit in a
padded box, enclose your check or money order payable to Emerson Radio
Corp. in the amount of $5.00 (not required by California residents) to cover
shipping and handling costs, and enclose a copy of your proof of purchase.

This warranty does not cover damage from negligence, misuse, abuse,
accident, failure to follow operating instructions, commercial use, rental,
repairs by an unauthorized facility, or products purchased, used, serviced or

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY
ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

Sanrio Company Ltd. We have taken great care to make sure your unit was in
perfect working order when it left our factory. It has been designed to give you many
years of enjoyment and trouble free operation. Read this manual before operating
this unit to become familiar with its features and obtain the performance that will bring
you continued enjoyment for many years. In the event you require technical

NOTES:
• Please avoid using this unit in places of high temperature or humidity over
prolonged periods of time as damage may occur. Exposure to direct
sunlight in places such as car interiors may cause the unit to become
warped and/or lead to malfunctioning.
• Avoid using or storing this unit in dusty or sandy locations.
• Radio waves are weakened in vehicles and buildings; listen near open window.
WARNING: Dispose of the old battery properly. Do not leave it lying around
where a young child or pet could play with it or swallow it.

1. Use only the size and type of batteries
specified.
2. Be sure to follow the correct polarity,
reversed batteries may cause damage
to the device.
3. If the device is not to be used for a
long period of time, remove the
batteries to prevent damage or injury
from possible battery leakage.
4. Do not mix different types of batteries
together (e.g. Alkaline and Carbon-
zinc) or old batteries with new ones.

Plug the earbuds into
the Earphone jack, then
insert the earbuds into
your ears. Rotate the
VOLUME/POWER con-
trol to turn the power
on.

Rotate the VOLUME/
POWER control to
adjust the volume.
Rotate the VOLUME/
POWER control to the
OFF position to turn the
unit off.

Press either TUNE/SCAN
button repeatedly to tune
in a station. To scan the
stations, press and hold
TUNE/SCAN Up button
until a 'beep' sound is
heard. The tuner will scan
up the FM band until it
finds a strong station and
then stop. Repeat until
the tuner stops on your
desired FM station.

FM ANTENNA:
The FM antenna is built into the earbud cord, extend for best reception.
LISTENING TO THE FM RADIO
Remove the belt clip by
pulling it out of the slots
while pressing both
sides of the belt clip.

Replace the two old
button batteries with new
ones (LR44 or G13). If
the batteries are inserted
incorrectly, the unit will not
operate. Close the battery
compartment cover firmly
and reinstall the belt clip.

pushing the tab of the
cover using a small
screwdriver tip.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
BATTERY OPERATION
1. The batteries are pre-installed in the battery
compartment at the factory. To activate the batteries,
pull the battery spacer out as shown.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
Up to four memory
presets can be stored.
Press the TUNE/SCAN
Up button to select a
desired station.

To listen to a memory
preset, press the Memory
button repeatedly until
the desired memory
preset is selected.

Press and hold the
Memory button until a
beep is heard and the
station will be memor-
ized. To store the next
preset, press the
Memory button again
and repeat steps 1 and
2 (up to four presets).

To preserve the battery life, be sure to rotate the VOLUME/POWER control to
the OFF position.
CLEANING:If your mini radio becomes dirty, wipe it with a soft cloth. Do not
use thinner, benzine or similar chemicals as this will damage the unit.
