2.1 Functions and features
The EM6025 is a compact outdoor camera with infrared function. This camera
conforms to the IP68 standard, meaning that the camera is water and dust proof. This
makes the camera perfectly capable of observing objects in the outdoors, such as the
entrance of an office building, a parking lot or a cycle shed.
Thanks to the built-in infrared function you can realize up to 15 meters of sight under
bad lighting situations.
2.2 Package contents
The following parts need to be present in the packing:
1. EM6025 Camera
2. Mounting set, consisting of 1 mounting stand, 3 screws and 3 plugs.
Note: Connecting the EM6010 DVR unit requires a combined Coax/power cable, type
EM6040. You can order the EM6040 from your Eminent-dealer.
3.0 Mounting the camera
The EM6025 is meant to be mounted to the wall or ceiling. Follow the instructions
below to be able to use the camera in combination with the Eminent EM6010 DVR
unit:
1. Remove both the camera and the mounting stand from the package.
2. Use the mounting stand to mark three holes on the location where you wish to
mount the camera (You can temporarily mount the camera to the stand to
pinpoint the best location).
3. Drill three holes and fill them with three mounting plugs.
4. Mount the camera stand to the wall using three screws.
5. Adjust the camera so that the location you wish to observe is clearly visible.
6. After the camera has been adjusted you can fasten the clamp to the stand.
7. If the view of the camera is hindered by sunlight, you can slide the plastic sun
cover back or forth.
8. Connect a video cable (BNC) and power cable to the camera.
9. Connect the other end of the video cable to your EM6010.
10. The video cable needs to be connected directly to one of the four ports of the
EM6010.
11. The power cable needs to be connected to the distribution block (supplied with
the EM6010) supplying the camera with 12 Volts AC.
12. Setup your EM6010 DVR for using this camera (consult the manual of the
EM6010 for details).
13. The camera is now ready for use.

Hint: The EM6025 itself is water and dust proof, but the plugs that connect to the
camera are not. Make sure these do not get wet. Hide and protect them using, for
instance, isolation materials.
