INSTRUCTION MANUAL
• Thisproductisonlysuitableforconnectiontoa240V~50HzsupplyinaccordancewithcurrentIEEwiring
regulations,andshouldbeinstalledinaccordancewithlocalBuildingRegulations.Theyarefordomestic,indoor
ceilinguseonly,andarenotsuitableforaBathroomlocation.
• Thelightttingshouldbeconnectedtoalightingcircuitprotectedbya5ampfuse(ora6ampminiaturecircuit
breaker).
• Beforeinstallingyourlightttingalwaysswitchoffthemainssupply,andremovetheappropriatefuseorswitch
offtheappropriatecircuitbreakerbeforecommencinginstallation.Ensurethatnooneelsehasaccessthat
wouldenablethesupplytobeinadvertentlyreconnected.
• This is a Class 1 product and must be Earthed.Theterminalblocksaresuppliedaccordingtorequirements
ofthetting.
• Nevertbulbsofahigherwattagethanthosespeciedonthelabel(asthesemaycauseoverheatingand
damagethetting).
• Ifyouareinanydoubtaboutyourcompetencepleaseconsultaqualiedelectrician.
• Ifanymodicationismadeitwillinvalidatethewarrantyandmayrendertheproductunsafe.

Followeachassemblystepinordertopreventincorrectassembly.
Ensurethattheproductisfullyassembledasillustratedbeforeuse.

Lighttting.
Terminalconnectionblock.
Fixingpack.
The following tools may be required:
Selectionofcrossandatheadscrewdrivers.
Electricdrillandassorteddrillbits.
Wirestrippers.
Electricalinsulationtape.

Theseassemblydiagramsoverleafareintendedasaguide–ifindoubtconsultaqualied
electrician.
Before you start
Care Information
Allow10minutestocoolbeforereplacing,adjustingorcleaning.
Cleanwithadryclothonly.Donotuseliquidorabrasivecleanersonthisproduct.
1. Decideonthepositionofthelighttting,orremoveexistinglighttting.Takeanoteofthepositionofthe
electricalconnections.Ensurethereisasolidmountingsurface.
2. Removethetwosidescrews(A)andretainthemforre-use.Usethexingbracket(B)asatemplateto
markthescrewholes,andsecuretothewallwithappropriatescrewxings(C),makingsurethebracketis
correctlyaligned.
3. Supportyourttingandconnectthehousewiringtotheterminalblock(D)–seeexpandedwiringdetails
below.Anylooseterminalblocks–notsecuredtoceilingcup–shouldalwaysbecoveredwithatleast2
layersofgoodqualityinsulationtapesuchthatitiscoveredtoatleast8mmoneachside.
4. Securethewallcupoverthebracketbyusingthescrews(A)removedinPoint2.

5. Theheadisttedwithanadjustablewingnut(F).Loosenthewingnutandmovetheheadtothepreferred
positionandthenretightenthenuttosecure.
4. Turnonthepowerandtest.Switchonlightwithtoggleswitch(G).
