You have chosen the optimum standard WC unit with
built-in S-trap. It can usually be installed as quickly
and easily, and in the same situations, as WC units
with traditional open S-traps.
Remember that the cover must be positioned before
installation, see image .

Dosing
WC connections
The water connection to the cistern inlet is a 1/2" BSP male.
Looking from the front of the pan, it is located on the right
hand side, on the bottom of cistern. See Image 1

Bonding/Siliconing

To guarantee correct and reliable installation of this product we urge you to follow the installation
instructions. Enware cannot accept liability for damage that occurs as a result of faulty installation.
Ifö Sign 6832, 6862, 6872
These WC units are designed for connection to waste in
walls – P-trap.
For toilets with Arm Supports (e.g. IFO98125):
Due to the extra force applied to the toilet pan by the arm
supports, it is recommended that the toilet pan be xed to
the oor using stainless steel pan screws (supplied -
IFO98381) together with a silicone bed, or xed using a
water proof oor mounting bracket (IFO98015). The oor
surface should be as at and level as possible, to ensure
stability. Fixing the toilet pan with only the silicone seal is
not considered to be an adequate method of xing.
Waterproof Floor Mounting

This WC unit is suitable for bonding/siliconing,
see images 11-15.
The method applies to installation of WC units using elastic
silicone joint. First clean the oor to obtain a dry and grease-f
ree surface. Do not use the WC before the silicone has cured.
If the WC unit is bonded / siliconed to the oor, the
supplied blind cover plugs (IFO94752) must be used
in the screw holes on the WC unit.
This WC is prepared for the Fresh WC function, with a
hygienic dosing of a tablet through the ush button.
The tablet is placed inside the ush armature by opening
the ush button and releasing the tablet in the blue cover
screw, as illustrated in images 16 - 17.
Depending on the content of the tablet, it produces a fresh
odour, cleaning eect on the whole bowl and colour.
This solution diers from traditional odour and cleaning
blocks that are suspended from the rim of the bowl, by
perfectly rinsing the entire bowl and retaining full ushing
eect.
Ifo Fresh Sticks are available from Enware.
Product code IFO94568 - 10 packets of 5 sticks.

Each increment is 1 litre, adjustable from 2-5 litres, or
from 2-3 litres for model 6832.

Reinstalling
Maintenance advice and cleaning
Reinstall in reverse order. The screws for the cistern
mounting must be tightened alternately to a maximum
torque of 2.5 Nm as illustrated in image 35. The cover
screw must be tightened to a maximum torque of
1.0 Nm as illustrated in image 37.

WC units, bidets and wash basins have a glazed
surface. Glazed surfaces are easy to keep clean and
are resistant against most chemicals. Clean regularly to
prevent cleaning problems. Use normal cleaning agents.

This is because cleaning agents for porcelain are not
intended for chrome parts/plastics and can risk cracking
Cleaning utensils, which contain abrasive agents, such
as wire wool and green scouring pads, must not be
used. Strong acids, e.g. hydrochloric acid and sulphuric
acid and strong alkalines, e.g. caustic soda should not
be used. Dripping taps and running WC units must be
repaired immediately.
For repair or to purchase spare parts, contact your local
plumbing contractor or plumbing centre. Formoreinform-
ation,contactEnware.
If the toilet is subject to freezing temperatures, the WC
0.3 - 0.4 litres of anti-freeze into the water trap and cover
evaporation.

You get more free oor space with a wall-hung style WC unit.
It facilitates easier cleaning of the bathroom oor.
Ifo Sign WC units are supplied with:
- Polished chrome ush button (IFO98303)
Optional:
Raised Chrome Button (IFO98308)
Remove the ush button, cover mounting and cover as
illustrated in images 16-22.
If the WC unit runs - rst check that the outlet valve's
outlet seal washer is not damaged. If it is, replace the
outlet washer (IFO96765), as illustrated in images 23-25.
Then check that the inlet valve closes correctly. If it does
not, replace the inlet valve (IFO96766) as illustrated in
images 26-28.
The lever arm to the inlet oat is normally installed
on the lower oat setting for optimum water ow. This
setting can handle a water pressre of 10 bars. In the
event of the WC unit running at high water pressures,
the lever arm can be moved to the upper setting and
then handles a maximum water pressure of 12 bars.
