
TROUBLESHOOTING
SYMPTOMS PROBABLE CAUSES RECORRECTIVE ACTION
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Authorized Service Representative or qualified electri-
cian shouldcorrect all electrical problems. For warranty service, contact your dealer or wholesale Distributor.
1、The toilet does not
work.
A.Power is OFF.
B.The power cord is disconnected or the plug has no power.
C.Power cord electricity leakage connector plug is not reset.
Product is on standby mode.
A.Wait until power is restored.
B.Plug power cord into outlet or check power plug.
C.Press the “Reset” icon on the plug.
D. Press “ “button on side panel.
2. The toilet fails to flush. A.Water failure.
B.Water supply stop valve is OFF.
C.Power is OF.
D.Toilet in standby mode
E.Cleaning function is in use.
F.Auto flush function is prohibited.
A.Wait until water is restored.
B.Open water supply valve.
C.Wait until power is restored, check “manual flush or use
basin to flush the toilet.
D.. Press “ “button on side panel.
E.Flush after cleaning function is completed.
F.Check “Remote setting guide” section.
3、Insufficient toilet flush A.Filter blocking
B.Insufficient water pressure
A.Check “clean filter” section.
B.Check if valve is wide open, if not, please open
completely.
C.Check if water inlet hose is over bended. If so, adjust
hose.
4、Unable to use
cleaning function
A.Water failure
B.Tee valve for water supply is closed or not opened
completely.
C.Toilet is at standby mode.
D.Unseated or undetected sitting position
E.Filter screen is blocked
F.Insufficient water pressure
G. Incorrect water purification filter cartridge installation
A.Wait until water supply is restored.
B.Fully open tee valve.
C.Press “ “button on side panel.
D. Sit on or adjust sitting posture.
E.Refer to “washing the filter screen” section.
F.Check if water inlet hose is over bended. If so, adjust
hose.
G. Correct purification filter cartridge installation (refer to Page
13).
5、Flushing mode stops
in the operation process.
A.Flushing mode stops automatically after continuous flushing
for 5 minutes.
B.The seat is unable to detect customer.
A.If necessary, press the flushing button again.
B.Adjust your sitting position or sit on the toilet again.
6、The wash mode run
even when no one is
sitting on the toilet.
A.The seat is covered by foreign matters or the seat is wet. A.Remove the foreign matters or dry the seat.
7、Dryer fan stops in the
operation process
A.The dryer fan stops automatically after continuous usage for
4 minutes.
B.The seat is unable to detect human body.
A.If necessary, press the Dryer button again.
B.Adjust your sitting posture or sit on the toilet again.
8、Deodorization fan
stops
A.The seat is unable to detect customer.
B.Stop button is pressed by mistake during operation.
C.Auto deodorization function is deactivated.
A.Adjust your sitting posture or sit on the toilet again.
B.If necessary, please seat on again 2s after seat off.

9、Cover fails to
close/open
A.The seat is covered by foreign matters or the seat is wet.
The toilet cover is interfered by human Disturbance from
previous open/close process.
A.Remove the foreign matters or dry the seat.
B.Use remote control to open/close the toilet cover or
manually open/close until it works normally. The cover
switch should not be stopped during the open/close process.
10、Cover fails to
open/close automatically
A.Customer is not seated yet or left the detecting area.
B.Remote “auto cover” function is deactivated.
C.The toilet is in the process of flushing.
A.Remove the foreign matters or dry the seat
B.Refer to “remote setting guide” section
C.Wait until the flushing process is completed.
11、Night light does not
work
A.The night function is turned off.
B.The indoor light is too bright.
A.Check night light section in “auxiliary keyboard function”
to activate night light function.
B.Please turn off the indoor light and close the curtain.
