1. Why is an exclamation mark displayed in the app after open-
ing a room?
The exclamation mark is displayed if the connection to the radi-
ator thermostats has not yet been established completely or the
thermostats are out of range. As soon as the connection is es-
tablished, the exclamation mark automatically disappears.
2. Why does it sometimes take a while until the connection to
a room is established?
The more devices are installed in a room, the longer it takes until
the connection to all radiator thermostats is established. In case
you are using an old or "low cost" smartphone, there may be a
delay in establishing the connection as well.
3. What needs to be considered during installation of several
radiator thermostats in one room?
There is no direct wireless connection between your installed ra-
diator thermostats. This means that the entire communication is
performed via the smartphone app.
Please consider the installation order for installation of sever-
al radiator thermostats. First, add all radiator thermostats to the
desired room. Then you can adjust the settings of the room (e.g.
open-window temperature) and set up the week prole. This is
necessary to ensure that the conguration of a room is trans-
ferred in a consistent way to all radiator thermostats.

4. My radiator thermostats show different open-window tem-
peratures or switch to different comfort and reduction tem-
peratures, even though they are allocated to one room. What
may be the reason and how can I adjust the settings?
There is no direct wireless connection between your installed ra-
diator thermostats. This means that the entire communication is
performed via the smartphone app and that the radiator thermo-
stats do not know the current status of the other radiator thermo-
stats (see g. question 3).
Please adjust the settings of your room via the smartphone
app again (after you have added all radiator thermostats to the
room).
5. I have installed more than one radiator thermostat in a room.
After I have replaced one device by another, the devices
function differently. What is the reason for this?
There is no direct wireless connection between your installed ra-
diator thermostats. This means that the entire communication is
performed via the smartphone app and that the radiator thermo-
stats do not know the current status of the other radiator thermo-
stats. Please adjust the settings of your room via the smartphone
app again (after you have added the new radiator thermostats to
the room in the app).
6. How can I permanently open or close my radiator valve via
the radiator thermostat (e.g. during summer time)?
Activate the manual mode on your radiator thermostat and turn
the control wheel to "OFF" in order to close the valve completely
or to "ON" to open the valve completely. For further information,
please refer to the operating manual of the device.
7. On opening the option "Mode" via the app, the actual mode
of the room is not displayed. What is the reason for this?
When opening the app, the mode of the device that has commu-
nicated its status rst will be displayed.
Due to manual operation of singe radiator thermostats, the status
of several devices in one room may be different. This can be ad-
justed with a central control via the app.

8. How can I turn off the BLUETOOTH® function during sum-
mer in order to save energy?
To enable/disable the BLUETOOTH® function, please proceed
as follows:
• Press the Mode/Menu button for at least 3 seconds.
• Select the menu item "bLE" with the control wheel and
conrm by pressing the control wheel shortly.
• The display will show "OFF" to deactivate the function or
"On" to activate the function.
• Conrm by pressing the control wheel shortly.
9. Is it possible to deactivate the BLUETOOTH® function af-
ter adjusting the settings of the radiator thermostat (e.g. to
save battery life)?
As soon as all radiator thermostats have been taught-in and
all settings as well as the week prole have been adjusted, the
BLUETOOTH® function can be deactivated to save battery life.
Meanwhile, the week prole continues as usual. If, however,
you want to control the radiator thermostats via your smart-
phone or change the settings via the app, you have to activate
the BLUETOOTH® function manually again. For further infor-
mation, please refer to question 8 or to the operating manual.
