Si vous donnez ou transférez cet appareil à un tiers,

l’utilisateur des instructions de cette notice d’utilisation,
la garantie est annulée. Le fabricant/importateur rejette
toute responsabilité en cas de dommages dus au non-

Cet appareil est destiné à être utilisé dans des
applications domestiques et analogues telles que: des
coins cuisines réservés au personnel dans des
magasins, bureaux et autres environnements
professionnels; des fermes; l’utilisation par les clients
des hôtels, motels et autres environnements à
caractère résidentiel; des environnements du type
chambres d’hôtes.
MISE EN GARDE: Risques de blessures en cas de
mauvaise utilisation.
Si le câble d'alimentation est endommagé, il doit être
remplacé par le fabricant, son service après vente ou
des personnes de qualification similaire afin d'éviter un
danger.
Pour obtenir des instructions sur comment nettoyer les
surfaces qui sont en contact avec des aliments,
reportez-vous au paragraphe « nettoyage et entretien
» du mode d’emploi.
Toujours déconnecter l'appareil de l’alimentation si on
le laisse sans surveillance et avant montage,
démontage ou nettoyage.
Mettre l'appareil à l'arrêt et le déconnecter de
l’alimentation avant de changer les accessoires ou
d'approcher les parties qui sont mobiles lors du
fonctionnement.
Avant d’insérer la fiche de l’appareil dans une prise
secteur, vérifiez que la tension et la fréquence du
secteur correspondent aux spécifications indiquées
sur la plaque signalétique.
Si vous utilisez une rallonge électrique, elle doit être
appropriée à la puissance consommée par l’appareil,
sinon la rallonge et/ou la fiche risquent de chauffer
excessivement. Il existe un risque potentiel de
blessures par trébuchement sur le cordon électrique.

Prenez vos précautions pour éviter toute situation
dangereuse.
Branchez l’appareil sur une prise raccordée à la terre.
Débranchez la fiche électrique de la prise électrique
quand l’appareil n’est pas utilisé et avant de le nettoyer.
Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne pende pas
sur des arêtes coupantes et maintenez-le éloigné des
objets chauds et des flammes nues.
N'immergez jamais l'appareil ou sa fiche dans de l'eau
ni dans aucun autre liquide. Cela peut provoquer un
choc électrique !
Pour débrancher la fiche de la prise, saisissez la fiche
et tirez-la hors de la prise. Ne tirez pas sur le cordon
d’alimentation.
Ne touchez pas l’appareil s’il tombe dans de l’eau.
Débranchez la fiche de la prise électrique, éteignez
l’appareil et rapportez-le au centre de réparation agréé
pour le faire réparer.
Ne branchez pas et ne débranchez pas l’appareil de
la prise électrique avec les mains mouillées.
N’essayez pas d’ouvrir le boîtier de l’appareil ni de
réparer l’appareil vous-même. Cela peut provoquer un
choc électrique.
Ne laissez jamais l'appareil sans surveillance quand il
est en fonctionnement.
Cet appareil n’est pas conçu pour un usage
commercial.
N’utilisez pas cet appareil à un usage autre que celui
pour lequel il a été conçu.
N’enroulez pas le cordon d’alimentation autour de
l’appareil et ne le pliez pas.
Ne pas utiliser l’appareil en extérieur. Faites très
attention quand vous déplacez l’appareil.
Vérifiez qu’il n’y a aucun objet étranger dans le
compartiment de l’élément chauffant avant de
positionner le bouton marche/arrêt dans la position « I
».

L’élément central chauffant peut devenir brûlant;
évitez tout contact jusqu’à ce qu’il ait refroidi.
Un cordon électrique court est fourni afin d’éviter tout
risque que celui-ci ne s’emmêle ou que quelqu’un ne
trébuche dessus si le cordon est trop long.
Maintenez vos mains éloignées de l’appareil quand il
est en fonctionnement.
L’appareil ne doit pas être mis en marche au moyen
d’une prise minuteur externe ou au moyen d’un
système de télécommande séparé.
Ne mettez rien d’autre que le sucre prévu dans la tête
d’extraction.
Cet appareil doit être éteint et débranché lorsque vous
le déplacez.
ATTENTION, surface chaude !
Veuillez ne pas toucher la surface pendant
l’utilisation. La température des surfaces
accessibles peut être élevée lorsque
l'appareil est en fonctionnement.
En ce qui concerne les instructions des quantités
maximales de sucre, référez-vous au paragraphe ci-
après de la notice.

2. Nettoyez l’appareil conformément au paragraphe « Nettoyage et entretien ».
3. Séchez soigneusement toutes les pièces avant utilisation.

MODE D'EMPLOI
1. Installez la machine à barbe à papa sur une surface stable, éloignée de l'humidité et des
objets inflammables.
2. Positionnez le grand bol sur le corps de l'appareil en le faisant tourner dans le sens inverse
des aiguilles d'une montre. Laissez la languette en plastique (A) du grand bol s’enclencher
et se verrouiller dans la rainure (B) du corps de l'appareil. Assurez-vous que le grand bol
soit correctement fixé et qu’il ne bouge pas.
3. Attachez l'anneau transparent sur la bordure du grand bol.
Remarque : ne pas utiliser la machine à barbe à papa si l'anneau transparent n'est pas
correctement fixé.

4. Positionnez la tête de l'extracteur en position de chauffe. Placez la tête d’extraction sur
l’axe, en insérant fermement les saillants de l’arbre de rotation dans les rainures de la tête
d’extraction. En cas de mauvais positionnement, le sucre ne chauffera pas suffisamment
et il n’y aura pas de production de filament.
5. Raccordez la machine à barbe à papa à une prise secteur.
6. Basculez l'interrupteur en position « I » et patientez pendant au moins 2-4 min, pour que la
machine chauffe, puis basculez l'interrupteur en position « O ».
7. Versez une cuillère de sucre (utilisez la cuillère doseuse fournie) dans le réceptacle central
de la tête d’extraction. Positionnez le bouton marche/arrêt dans la position « I ».
REMARQUE: N’utilisez jamais comme ingrédient autre chose que du sucre semoule, car
cela pourrait causer une obstruction. Ne versez pas trop de sucre dans le réceptacle.
8. Utilisez les tiges de bambou ou enroulez un morceau de papier normal sur lui-même pour
former un tube. Servez-vous en comme d’un bâton pour enrouler la barbe à papa. Vous
devez tenir le rouleau de papier horizontalement au-dessus de la partie transparente et
allez de gauche à droite quand vous enroulez la barbe à papa. La cuillère doseuse peut
être également utilisée comme bâton.
Note : Il faut environ 2 à 3 minutes pour réaliser une barbe à papa.

REMARQUE: Ne mettez pas le rouleau de papier ou le bâton en bambou à l’intérieur de la
partie transparente, cette action peut vous brûler.
9. Mettez l’appareil sur la position Arrêt (O) quand tout le sucre a été consommé. Attendez
que la tête de l’extracteur soit complètement arrêtée, avant de pouvoir y verser une nouvelle
mesure de sucre et recommencer. La machine à barbe à papa devrait fonctionner plus
rapidement étant donné qu’elle a maintenant suffisamment chauffé.
Remarque : en cas de surchauffe, il est recommandé de laisser l’appareil reposer pendant
5 minutes entre deux barbes à papa.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
1. Assurez-vous que la machine à barbe à papa soit débranchée et ait eu le temps de refroidir
avant de la nettoyer.
2. Après refroidissement, retirez la tête d’extraction en la soulevant verticalement.
Déverrouillez le bol en le tournant dans le sens horaire et retirez-le. Lavez-les à l’eau
chaude, rincez-les et séchez-les. Le grand bol, l’anneau transparent et la tête d’extraction
passent au lave-vaisselle.
3. Utilisez une éponge légèrement humide, non abrasive, ou un chiffon non abrasif pour
essuyer l’extérieur de l’appareil, et utilisez une serviette douce pour le sécher.
4. N'utilisez JAMAIS un tampon à récurer sur l'appareil. Ne PAS mettre au lave-vaisselle.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before use make sure to read all of the below instructions
in order to avoid injury or damage, and to get the best
results from the appliance. Make sure to keep this
manual in a safe place. If you give or transfer this
appliance to someone else make sure to also include this
manual.
In case of damage caused by user failing to follow the
instructions in this manual the warranty will be void. The
manufacturer/importer accepts no liability for damages
caused by failure to follow the manual, a negligent use
or use not in accordance with the requirements of this
manual.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience
and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children
shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of
children less than 8 years.

This appliance is intended to be used in household
and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm
houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other
residential type environment; bed and breakfast type
environments.
Warning: Potential risk of injuries from misuse.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Regarding the instructions for cleaning the surfaces
which come in contact with food, please refer to the
paragraph “cleaning and maintenance” of the manual.
Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it
is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
Before inserting the plug into the mains socket, please
check that the voltage and frequency comply with the
specifications on the rating label.
If an extension cord is used it must be suited to the
power consumption of the appliance, otherwise
overheating of the extension cord and/or plug may
occur. There is a potential risk of injuries from tripping
over the extension cord. Be careful to avoid dangerous
situations.
Always plug the appliance into an earthed plug socket.
Disconnect the mains plug from the socket when the
appliance is not in use and before cleaning.
Ensure that the mains cable is not hung over sharp
edges and keep it away from hot objects and open
flames.

To remove the plug from the plug socket, pull the plug.
Do not pull the power cord.
Do not touch the appliance if it falls into water. Remove

send it to an authorized service center for repair.
Do not plug or unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet with a wet hand.
Never attempt to open the housing of the appliance, or
to repair the appliance yourself. This could cause
electric shock.
Never leave the appliance unattended during use.
This appliance is not designed for commercial use.
Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not
bend it.
Do not use outdoors. Extreme caution must be used
when moving this appliance.
Check if there is any foreign object inside the heating
element compartment before switching to “I” position.
The heating element in the center can get hot. Avoid
contact until cooled down.
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the
risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping over
a long cord.
Keep hands away from the appliance when it is in use.
The machine should not be operated by means of an
external timer-switch or by means of a separate
system with remote control.
Do not place anything other than the intended sugar in
the extractor head.
This appliance must be off and unplugged when
moving.

1. Remove all the packaging materials.
2. Clean the appliance according to the section “Cleaning and maintenance”.
3. Dry all the parts thoroughly before use.

HOW TO USE
1. Place the housing of the cotton candy maker on a firm surface at a distance from wet
environments and flammable objects.
2. Put the big bowl on the housing by rotating it anticlockwise. Let the plastic tab (A) on the
big bowl lock into the groove (B) on the housing. Make sure the big bowl fits firmly and not
movable.
3. Attach the transparent ring over the edge of the big bowl.
Note: Do not use the cotton candy maker if the transparent part is loose.

4. Place the extractor head into the heating position. Place the extractor head on the shaft,
fitting the attachment pins of the rotation shaft firmly into the grooves of the extractor head.
In case of bad positioning the sugar will not heat up enough and there will be no production
of filament.
5. Connect the cotton candy maker to the socket.
6. Turn the switch to “I” position and allow to run for at least 2-4 minutes, this will allow it to
warm up then switch to “O” position.
7. Pour one spoon of sugar with the provided measuring spoon into the center receptacle of
the extractor head. Switch to “I” position.
NOTE: Never use ingredients other than pure granulated sugar, this will cause clogging.
Do not overfill the sugar receptacle.
8. Use the bamboo sticks or use a normal piece of paper and make a roll out of it. Use this as
the stick to roll up the cotton candy. You shall hold the stick horizontal over the transparent
part and go from left to right when you roll up the cotton candy. The measuring spoon can
be used as a stick too.
Note: It takes about 2 to 3 minutes to make a cotton candy.

NOTE: Do not put the paper roll or bamboo stick inside the transparent part, this action can
get you burned.
9. Turn the appliance off when all the sugar has been dispensed. Wait until the extractor head
has come to a complete stop, you can pour another spoon of sugar in the extractor head
and begin again. The cotton candy maker should be flowing more quickly as the unit is
warmed up sufficiently.
Note: In case of overheating, a rest of 5 minutes for the unit is recommended between two
cotton candies.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure the cotton candy maker is unplugged and has had time to cool down before
cleaning.
2. After cooling, remove the extractor head by pulling straight up. Unlock bowl by turning
clockwise and remove. Wash them in warm water, rinse and dry. The big bowl, transparent
ring and extractor head are dishwasher safe.
3. Use a slightly damp, non-abrasive sponge or non-abrasive towel to wipe the outside of the
unit, wipe with a non-abrasive towel to dry.
4. NEVER use a scouring pad on the device. Do NOT put in the dishwasher.
