VII Operating Method
1.Start-up,Shutdown
Press POWER keytostartup,LCDwillbegintodisplay;Press the
POWER keyagain,theleakerwill shutdown.Afterstartingupfor5
minutes,LCDwillflick notesthat theleakerwill shutdownautomatically;
afterflickeringfor30s,itwill shutdownformallytoreducebattery
consumption.Incaseyouhavepressed POWER keywhenLCD was
flickering,theleakerwillcontinuetoworkfor5minutes.If LCDwasvery
darkafterstartingup,itmightbecausedbylow-voltagebattery,inthis
case, pleasechangebatteryimmediately.
2. AC/DCmeasurementswitch
ThetesterdefaulttoDC measurementafterbootup.Press to
switchtheAC/DCfunction.LCDwilldisplayDC orACtocorresponding
switchfunction.
3. DCCalibration
BeforemeasuringDC current,press DCAZEROkeytoreducethe
residualmagnetismtoZero,and thenconductmeasurement.Rational
usageofthisAdjustZerofunctionwill maketheresultsmoreaccurate.
Forexample,afterboot,beforemeasurement, wecan takethe jawclose
totheDC currentwire.LCDwill showaninductivecurrent.Press DCA
ZEROto calibrate, whichdeducttheinductivevalue.Showingbelow:

measureDC current.
3）Releasethetoroidlevertoopeninputtoroidandclampmeasured
conductors.Beattentionthatthetwoinputtoroidmustbetotallyclosed
and themeasuringwirepassingthroughthecenterofthejaw.
4)Read LCDdisplaydata.Incase OLam symbolwasdisplayed,it
meansthat current ofmeasuredlineisbeyondthemaximumlimitofthis
leaker;withthiscase,pleasechooseleakerwithmuchhigherrange
limit.

5. Peak Holding
Pressing HOLD keycontinuallyinthecourseofmeasurement(More
than 3seconds), theleakerwilldisplay PEHd andcapturecurrentpeak
valuesoflinesinthisperiodoftime;releasethekey,itthenwill return
tomeasuringstate.
6. Hold, StorageandAccess Reading
1）Pressing HOLD keyforashorttimeinthecourseofmeasurement
(less than3seconds), DH symbolwilldisplay,theleakerwillhold
currentmeasuring dataand automaticallystoredinthememorywith
acode;press HOLD keyagaintoreleasetheholdstate,and the
leakercontinuesitsmeasuring;incasestoreddatareachedto60
groups, press HOLD keyagain,the FULL”symbolwilldisplay,which
meansstoragememoryisfull;press HOLD keytocancelFULL”
flickeringandreturntomeasuringmode.
Attention!Foryoursafety,whenmeasuringheavy
current,afterconfirmedthecompletionofcorrect
operatingtest,please movetheleakerawayfrom
measuredconductor.
Inlocationswithdifficultytoreadoutdata, please use
thedataholdingfunction.If[DH]symboldisplayed,
pleasedischargedataholdingstatefirst,andthendo
thetest.

displayUnit 1storagedataautomatically;and thenpress HOLD key
againtoturnthepageof storeddata; NULL willdisplaywhenthereis

7. DataUpload
Makegood connectionofcompanywithRS232communication wireof
theTester,switchon theTesterandrun monitoringsoftware,andifthe
softwaredisplaysthatinterfaceisopenandtheconnectionissuccessful,
thenitcan read thestoredhistoricaldata,uploadtocompanyand preserve.
Monitoringsoftwarehasthefunctionofonlinereal-timemonitoring and
historicalinquiry,dynamicdisplay,withthemaximum,minimum,and
averagevalueindication, withalarmvaluesettingsand alarmindicator,and
thefunctionofhistoricaldataaccess,reading,preserve,printand other
functions.
