ETCR7100 seriesof Super-largeCaliberLeakageClampMeter iswell
designedand manufacturedformeasuring ACleakagecurrent, current,

largecaliber108mm×148mm can clampelectriccableof 108mmdiameter,or
160mm×4mmflatcableandsteelearthwires.Itissuitableforleakagecurrent
measurementofcableand transformerearthsteel.Fullautomaticallyand
LCD display,allthedataaredisplayedinthescreen,whichisveryclearand
convenient.Themeteriswidelyusedinelectricpower,communication,
meteorology,railway,oilfield,architecture,measuring,teaching researchunit,
industrialminingenterprises, etc.

VIII. Method ofOperation
1.SwitchOn/Off
Press POWER keytoswitchon,LCD display,intestmode,press
POWER keytoswitchoff.Themeterwill automaticallypoweroffafter
booting 5minuteslater.IfLCD displayisdarker, maybethebatteryvoltage
istoolow,pleasereplacebatteries.
Indataholdmode,firstlypress HOLD keytocancelthelock,then
press POWER keytoswitchoff.
2.DataHold/Storage
Intestmode,press HOLD keytolockcurrentlydisplayedvalueand
display “HOLD “symbol.Atthesametime,thislockedvalueasasetofdata
followedbyauto-IDand store,and “MEM”symbolflashonetime.Themeter
can store99 setsofdata.Ifthememoryisfull,display “FULL”symbol.

Intestmode,press PEAK and POWER keytoaccessdatainquiryform
group “R01”,and display “MR”symbol.Press PEAK or POWER keyto
increaseordecreasethepagenumber,itwillautomaticallyreturnbackto

4.DataUpload
ConnectingthemeterandcomputerwithUSB-RS232 communication
lineattachedinpackage.Startupthemeter,runsoftware,choosehistory
access, thenread,save, report, printhistorydata,etc.Themoredatastorage,
takethelongertimetoreadit.Historicaldatacan besavedinTxttext orExcel
format.
5.DeleteData
Inthedateinquirymode,press PEAK and POWER keytodeleteall the
storeddata,andreturnback totestmode.Atthesametime, “dEL”symbol
display.
6.General Measurement
Duringthemeasurement,theLCDreal-timedisplaythevalueof
measuredcurrentandleakagecurrent,thevaluedisplayedon LCDchange
withdifferent current and leakagecurrent. Nomeasuredvalue reservedwhen
takethemeterawayfrommeasuredwires,LCD displayzero.
Highvoltage,verydangerous!Onlyqualifiedpersonnel
aftertrainingcouldconductoperationon it.Theoperator
shouldobeysafetyregulations;Otherwisetherewillbethe
dangerofelectricshock resultinginpersonalinjuryor
casualty.

Themaximumcurrentmeasurement,during measurement, themetercan
automaticallycomparethechangedcurrent,andkeepthe maximumone.
Whentakethemeterawayfromthemeasuredwire,themeasuredvaluecan
alsobekept, sothismodeissuitableforthemeasurementinplaceswhereis
not easilytoread thevaluedisplayedon LCD.
Ingeneraltestmode, press PEAK keytoaccess orexit PEAK testmode.

firstexit and returnback totestmode,and thenoperate PEAK measurement
asabovesteps.
IX. BatteryReplacement
Warning!Make surethebatterycoveriswellclosed
beforemeasurement, otherwisetherewillbedanger.
Take noteofthebatterypolarity,otherwise it
may
cause damagetotheinstrument.
Ifthebatterypowerisnotenough,pleasechangein
time.
Take outthebatteriesifyou expectnottousethe
meterforalong time.
1.“”isdisplayedwhenthepowervoltageislowerthan 5.2V,indicating
that thebatteryshouldbereplaced.
2.Press POWER key, makesurethemeterispoweroff.Loosenthebattery
coverscrew, opentheplate,replacenewbatteriesandcovertheplate,
thentightenscrew.
