TURNING THE RADIO ON AND OFF
Turn it on and off with the VOLUME control. When it’s on, the
light shines green (front right side of the band selector switch).
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Set VOLUME control to the desired level.
POWER SOURCES
1. Rechargeable battery pack (Li-Poly battery)
2. USB charging cable
CHARGING THE Li-POLY BATTERY PACK
• Turn the crank for about one minute. The charge indicator
light will turn red (located to the right of the band selector
dial) when turning the hand crank. This will result in about
15 minutes of low volume play.
• To charge via USB cable, plug the USB cord into a computer
(must be turned on) or into an AC adapter with a USB socket
(5V, 500mA). Then plug the other end into the mini-USB
socket (labeled DC-IN under the rubber cover located on the
bottom of the radio). While charging, the charge indicator
light will turn red, and then change to green when it is fully
charged. Once fully charged, the radio will play for about 8
hours, at low volume.

TUNING-IN STATIONS
1. Select AM, FM or SW (shortwave) channel 1-2 with the
band selector switch. For FM and SW, fully extend the
telescopic antenna for best reception. When listening to
AM the antenna is not needed because AM reception
uses an internal ferrite bar antenna.
2. Tune AM and FM stations with the TUNE knob, and tune
in SW (shortwave) with the 2-position switch.
SW1 5.8–7.7 Mhz
SW2 9.4–12.3 MHz
CELL PHONE CHARGING
To charge the cell phone from the radio’s Li-Poly battery, use
the cell phone’s USB charging cord to connect it to the radio’s
large USB socket (under the rubber cover on the bottom of
the radio).
Turn the band selector knob to CELL. The indicator light
will turn ON. The cell phone’s battery charging indicator will
show that it’s charging. When fully charged, it provides 20
minutes of talk time. If internal battery is completely drain,
turn the crank for 7 minutes at 130 rpm to charge the cell
phone enough to talk for about 5 minutes.

If your cell phone has a USB charging cord, you can use it. If not,
you can purchase one from www.iGo.com, or call 1-888-205-0093.
To purchase a charging tip and cord for your cell phone, go to
www.iGo.com, or call 1-888-205-0093 for USB charging cable
model# PS00271-0003. Have the brand and model of your cell
phone ready when purchasing a cell phone tip.
USING THE LIGHT
Turn the light on and off with the light switch button, located
on top of the unit, near the light.
EARPHONE JACK
Plug in earphones (not included). Sound is heard from both sides
in monaural (mono). Always turn down the volume before
using earphones.

To ensure full warranty coverage or product updates, registration
of your product should be completed as soon as possible after
purchase or receipt. You may use one of the following options

SERVICE FOR YOUR PRODUCT
To obtain service for your product, we recommend first

wide) for problem determination and trouble-shooting. If
further service is required, the technical staff will instruct how
to proceed based on whether the radio is still under warranty
or needs non-warranty service.

WARRANTY – If your product is still in warranty and the Etón
service representative determines that warranty service is needed,
a return authorization will be issued and instructions for shipment
to an authorized warranty repair facility. DO NOT ship your radio
back without obtaining the return authorization number.
NON-WARRANTY – If your product is no longer under warranty
and requires service our technical staff will refer you to the nearest
repair facility that will be able to best handle the repair.

FONCTIONS DES TOUCHES ALLUMER ET ÉTEINDRE LA RADIO
Le bouton de réglage du VOLUME vous permet d’allumer et
d’éteindre la radio. Quand elle est allumée, la lumière s’allume
en vert (côté avant droit du commutateur de sélection de la
bande de fréquences).
RÉGLER LE VOLUME
Réglez le VOLUME avec le bouton de réglage du volume.
ALIMENTATIONS

RECHARGER LA BATTERIE Li-Poly
• Tournez la manivelle pendant environ une minute. Le voyant de
recharge s’allume en rouge (voyant situé à droite de la molette
de réglage de la fréquence) quand vous tournez la manivelle.
Cela permet environ 15 minutes d’écoute à faible volume.
• Pour recharger l’appareil avec le câble USB, branchez
le câble USB sur un ordinateur (qui doit être allumé) ou
dans un adaptateur secteur pourvu d’un port USB. Puis,
branchez l’autre extrémité du câble USB dans le port
mini USB (celui-ci comporte le marquage DC-IN, sous le
capuchon en caoutchouc présent au bas de la radio) de
la radio. Pendant la recharge, le voyant de recharge est
allumé en rouge. Il s’allume en vert quand la recharge est
terminée. Une fois l’appareil rechargé, il peut diffuser la
radio pendant environ 8 heures à faible volume.

RÉGLER LES STATIONS
1. Sélectionnez AM, FM ou l’une des 2 stations de la bande
ondes courtes SW avec le commutateur de sélection de
la bande de fréquences. Pour écouter les bandes FM et
SW, déployez complètement l’antenne télescopique an
d’en améliorer la réception. Cela n’est pas nécessaire
pour l’écoute de la bande AM, car sa réception est
assurée par une antenne interne en barre de ferrite.
2. Le bouton TUNE vous permet de régler la fréquence des
bandes AM et FM. Le commutateur à 2 positions vous
permet de sélectionner l’une des 2 fréquences de la bande
ondes courtes SW.
SW1 5.8–7.7 Mhz
SW2 9.4–12.3 MHz
RECHARGER UN TÉLÉPHONE PORTABLE
Pour recharger un téléphone portable avec la batterie
Li-Poly de la radio, branchez le câble USB de recharge sur
le grand port USB de la radio (recouvert par le capuchon
en caoutchouc sous la radio).

Tournez le commutateur de sélection de la bande de fréquences
sur CELL. Le voyant S’ALLUME. Le voyant de recharge du
téléphone portable doit indiquer qu’il est en recharge. Une fois
rechargé, l’autonomie en communication est de 20 minutes. Si la
batterie interne est complètement déchargée, tourner la manivelle
pendant 7 minutes à 130 tr/min pour recharger le téléphone et lui
donner environ 5 minutes d’autonomie de communication.
Si votre téléphone portable est équipé d’un câble USB de recharge,
utilisez-le. Dans le cas contraire, vous pouvez en acheter un sur
www.iGo.com ou en contactant le 1-888-205-0093. Pour acheter
un embout adaptateur et un câble pour votre téléphone portable,
rendez-vous sur le site www.iGo.com ou contactez le 1-888-205-
0093 en donnant le numéro de câble de recharge USB PS00271-
0003. Veillez à pouvoir fournir la marque et le modèle de votre
téléphone portable lorsque vous achetez un embout adaptateur

UTILISER LA LAMPE TORCHE
Le bouton situé sur le dessus de l’appareil près de la lampe
torche pour permet de l’allumer et de l’éteindre.
PRISE ÉCOUTEURS
Branchez des écouteurs (non fournis). Le signal sonore transmis
aux écouteurs droit et gauche est monophonique. Baissez
toujours le volume avant d’utiliser des écouteurs.

fournies. NE RETOURNEZ PAS votre radio sans avoir obtenu un
