Areas ofapplication
The system is equipped with a highly efficient filtration and cleaning
system including a HEPA H14 Filter (according to EN 1822-1:2009), an
activated carbon filter, two (2) titanium dioxide photo-catalyst in
conjunction with two (2) UV-C sterilization lamps with a wavelength of
254nm and a plasma generator (bi-polar).
ETS air cleaning systems are used to effectively remove toxins,
viruses, bacteria, pathogens, dust, allergens, and odors from the
ambient air.

Installation instructions
The device must be freestanding during operation with space of at least
30 cm to the rear and to both sides. The rear air inlet, the lateral
sensors, and the air outlets must remain free and may not be covered.
Commissioning
The systems are tested and delivered ready to operate. Remove any
packaging and protective film. Ensure that the mains voltage and
frequency indicated on page 2 match your mains voltage and use the
power cable to connect the system to power.

Reset after replacement:
After replacing the HEPA filter, press the On/Off button and the
Night Mode button simultaneously for at least five seconds. The
machine emits a signal tone and the Filter Status is reset to 100%.
The lifetime of the HEPA Filter will now be calculated anew.
Please also reset the Filter Status when commissioning the AP-
120 EDM for the first time.

On/off:
Press the On/Off button to switch on the device.By default, the device
runs at Fan Level 1 in manual mode.
Auto mode:
In automatic mode, the fan level is controlled automatically according to
air quality.
Timer:
Shut-off time can be planned. After the set time, the air cleaner
automatically switches off. The pre-set time can be between one and
nine hours.
Sleep mode:
In this mode the system runs at the lowest fan speed level, and the
display is switched off. Only the night mode icon is lit up.
UV sterilization:
Press the UV sterilization button to set the air cleaner to sterilization
mode. The sterilization icon is lit up. Press the button again to leave this
mode.

Tuya Smart App Control
(AP-120 EDM)
1. Scan the QR code in order to download and install the
Tuya Smart App.
2. Start the Tuya Smart App by clicking on „log in“ (or sign up for the first
time) or „try now“ (some of the functions might be not accessible yet).
3. Your Smartphone or Tablet has to be connected to the WLAN network.
The System will only connect within 2,4 GHz WLAN Systems. Connect the
AP-120 to the power grid and press the power button for at least 5
seconds until you hear a beep. Now the pairing mode is activated and
you can connect the device with your smart phone or tablet.

4. Within the Tuya App click „ADD DEVICE“ then select „AUTO SCAN“ and
enable „access location, Wifi and Bluetooth“. Please ensure that the
device and your smartphone/tablet is using the same network. Click on
„AUTO SCAN“ to find available devices.
5. Select the new device on your screen and connect it with the system.

6. Now you can give your AP a name and can control it via internet using
your smart phone or tablet.

Maintenance andcleaning
To clean the air, the system uses several filters and air cleaning systems
simultaneously:
Prefilter
The prefilter filters out large particles such as human hair, animal hair,
lint, etc.
HEPA H14 filter
The HEPA H14 filter removes smoke, dust, pollen, allergens, toxins, and
fine particles larger than 0.3 μm.
Activated carbon filter
The activated carbon filter removes gases such as benzene and
methanol, odors, etc.
Photocatalyst TiO filter and UV-C lamp
Eliminates viruses and bacteria in reactions with the titanium dioxide
coating in conjunction with UV-C light with a wavelength of 253.7 nm.
Bi-PolarPlasma
At the plasma stage, air is routed between electrodes carrying high
electrical voltage. The generated bi-polar ions are dispersed into the
room air and neutralize bacteria, viruses and VOCs.

Take off the top cover to remove the filter. To do this, unscrew the two
cross- head screws, one each on the right- and left-hand side of the
cover, and remove the cover upwards. After the cover is removed, the
filter packages can be removed from the front.
Note for model AP-120EDM:
The control panel is in the cover. The cover must not be left hanging
down onto the supply line. Two people are needed to remove the cover.
Place it on the housing after the filters have been removed. Secure the
cover against falling.
Prefilter
The prefilter must be checked regularly at intervals of no longer than
four weeks and cleaned as necessary. The prefilter can be vacuumed
off.
HEPA filters and activated carbon filters cannot be cleaned. Do not
replace these filters until the system indicates that doing so is
necessary.
Note:
The UV lamp may be replaced by technical customer service personnel
only.
Use only original replacement parts. They have been harmonized with
device operation. Using third-party replacement parts can impair
cleaning performance. Doing so invalidates the warranty and the
certified efficacies.
Switch off the device and pull the power plug before working on
the machine to avoid danger of electric shock.

Safety instructions
•Before use, the rear housing cover must be completely closed.
•Do not open the rear cover or the maintenance panel while the
device is in use.
•Before connecting the machine to the power source, ensure
that the voltage indicated on the type plate is the same as the
mains voltage in your region.
•Do not use the product if the plug, the power cable, or the
housing is damaged.
•Keep the product away from children.
•Do not block air inlets and outlets.
•The product is suitable for dry rooms only.
•Clean the housing with a dry or slightly moist cloth.
•Never use alcohol-based cleaning agents to wipe off the
housing!
