The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may

* Children, inexperienced or disabled people can use the appliance only under the supervision
of adults.
* The cooker surface and the lower part of the hood must be at a minimum distance of 65 cm
from each other.
* The air sucked must not be conveyed through a duct used to let out fumes from appliances
fed by energy other than electric power (e.g. centralised heating, radiators, water heaters etc).
* To discharge air comply with the relevant rules given by the competent authorities.
* Provide the room with adequate aeration when a hood and appliances fed by energy other
than electric power (gas-, oil- or coal stoves etc) are used simultaneously. The hood, when
discharging air, could generate negative pressure in the room. Such negative pressure must
not exceed 0.04 mbars in order to avoid sucking in exhaust gas from the heat source.
Therefore the room should be provided with air intakes to allow a constant ow of fresh air.
*The air must not be discharged into a ue that is used for exhausting fumes from applian-
ces burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air back
into the room).
* When carrying out the electrical connection, make sure the current outlet is provided with
earth connection and voltage values correspond to those indicated on the
plate inside the appliance.
* Before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance, disconnect the appliance from the electric
network.
If the appliance is not provided with a non-separable exible cable and a plug or with any
other device ensuring omnipolar disconnection from the network - with an opening distance
between the contacts of at least 3 mm then such disconnecting devices must be supplied in
the xed installation.
If the appliance has a supply cord and a plug, install it where the plug can be reached easily.
The use of materials that can burst into ames should be avoided next to the appliance. When
frying, pay particular attention to oil and grease, as they can cause a re. Being
highly ammable, used oil is especially dangerous. Do not use uncovered electric grills. In
order to avoid any risk of re, all instructions on grease-lter cleaning and grease-deposit
removing should be strictly followed.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the applian-
ce.
Do not ambè under the range hood.
CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.

The appliance is already arranged both for ltering and for suction performances.
* In its ltering version (Fig.1), the air and fumes conveyed by the appliance are depured both
by a grease lter and by an active coal lter, and put again into circulation through the side-
grids of the chimney. For this version an air deector placed on the superior part of the pipe
and allowing air-recycling is necessary (Fig.1A).
* In its sucking version , fumes are directly conveyed outside, through an evacuation duct
connected with the superior part of the wall or the ceiling. Both coal lter and air deector are
not necessary in this case.

Wallxingbybracket
Use the special drilling template (dwg. 2A) to drill all the holes indicated into the wall. Take
care not to damage water pipes and electric wires.
Drill the holes with an 8-mm bit.
Then insert the proper plastic plugs into the holes (dwg. 2B). The hood-supporting bracket
(dwg. 2C) is applied by using the screws provided (dwg. 2D).
Fix the metal corner elements (dwg. 2E) to the wall by means of the screws 2F, and hook the
hood to the special bracket (dwg. 3).
Adjust and lock into place using the screws provided (dwg. 5 VT). Insert the lock screws (dwg.
4). Should the product be equipped with a stainless steel or glass screen, proceed with the
installation following the instructions contained in its packaging.
Fit the electrical power so it is within the decorative ue and an air vent in the event that the
model is an extraction one.
Valveblockage
Warning! Before connecting the air outlet of the motor, make sure that the check valve on the
motor air-outlet ange is free to rotate.
Fix the pipe-supporting bracket (dwg. 6A) to the wall and/or ceiling by using the plugs and
screws provided. Connect the motor air-discharge ange to the discharge hole by a proper
pipe. Carry out the electrical connection.
Place the two decorative ues on the extraction body. Lift the upper ue as far as the ceiling
and x it to the pipe-supporting bracket by the two self-threading screws provided.
Warning: Failure to install the screws or xing device in accordance with these instructions
may result in electrical hazards.

* By using the special drilling jig (Fig. 2 X),
perforate the wall according to the pattern
indicated by the jig itself, and pay attention in
order not to damage water pipes and electric
wires. Perforation should be performed with
a Ø 8 mm wall-drill. Then insert into the
proper plastic reinforcements (Fig.2 A). The
hood-bearing stirrup (Fig. 2 S) can be applied
by using the screws provided with the
equipment (Fig.2 B). Now hook the cooker
hood onto its bearing (Fig.3) and then adjust
horizontally and vertically the position of the
appliance by acting on the special metric
screws (Fig. 4 V,T).
Fixing the ornamental chimney
* Before fixing the chimney, place the electric
feeding equipment into the ornamental pipe
and provide it with a hole for the air outlet if
the appliance is used in its sucking version.
Fix the supporting bracket of the chimney to
the wall or to to ceiling (fig. 5),
install both chimneys in their suitable place
above the hood, then lift the upper chimney
(the internal one) until it reaches the
supporting bracket, previously installed.
Fix the upper chimney both in the right and in
the left side through the two screws supplied.

MAINTENANCE
An accurate maintenance guarantees good
functioning and long-lasting performance.
* Particular care is due to the grease filter
panel. It can be removed by pushing its
special handle toward the back-side of the
cooker hood and turning the filter downwards
so to unfasten it from its slot (Fig.1).
To insert the filter just perform the opposite
operation.
After 30 hours working the push button
control panel will signal the saturation of the
grease filter by lighting all the buttons.
The grease filter needs cleaning by regular
hand-washing or in dishwashers every two
months at least or depending on its use.
* To clean the appliance itself tepid water and
neutral detergent are recommended, while
abrasive products should be avoided. For
steel appliances specialized detergents are
recommended (please follow the instructions
indicated o the product itself to obtain the
desired results).
* If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its sevice
agent or a similarly qualified person in order
to avoid a hazard.
To replace the bulbs in the square lights,
press the light frame where it says
“PUSH”(Fig. 6 and Fig. 7), then replace the
bulb and press the frame back into place.
