1.Donotinstallthecameranearelectricormagneticfields.
InstallthecameraawayfromTV/radiotransmitters,magnets,electricmotors,transformers
andaudiospeakers,becausetheelectromagneticfieldsgeneratedbythesedevicesmay
distortthevideoimageorotherwiseinterferewithcamerafunctions.
2.Neverdisassemblethecamerabeyondtherecommendationsinthismanual,norapply
materialstoitotherthanthoserecommendedherein.
Improperdisassemblyorintroductionofcorrosivematerialsmayresultinequipmentfailure
orotherdamage.
3.Trytoavoidpointingthecameratowardthesun.
Insomecircumstances,directsunlightmaycausepermanentdamagetothesensorand/or
internalcircuits.Itmayalsocreateunbalancedilluminationthatmaybebeyondthecamera’s
abilitytocompensate.
4.Keepthepowercableawayfromwaterandotherliquids.Nevertouchthepowercable
withwethands.
Touchingawetpowercablewithyourhandsortouchingthepowercablewithwethands
mayresultinelectricshock.
5.Neverinstallthecamerainareasexposedtooil,gasorsolvents.
Oil,gasorsolventsmaycauseequipmentfailure,electricshockor,inextremecases,fire.
6.Cleaning
Forcameraswithinterchangeablelenses,donottouchthesurfaceofthesensordirectly
withyourhands.Uselenstissueoracottontippedapplicatorandethanoltocleanthe
sensorandthecameralens.Useadampsoftclothtoremoveanydirtfromthecamerabody.
Donotusecomplexsolvents,orcorrosiveorabrasiveagentstocleananypartofthecamera.
7.Donotoperatethecamerabeyondthespecifiedtemperature,humidityandpowersource
levels.Thiscameraissuitableforindooroperationonly.
Usethecameraattemperaturesbetween‐10°C~50°C(14°F~122°F)andhumiditybetween
10~85%.Theinputpowersourceshouldbe12VDC.Theuseofaproperlyfusedor“Class2
LimitedPowerSource”powersupplyishighlyrecommended.
8.Mounting
Selectasolidmountingsurfacethatwillsupporttheweightofthecameraandany
additionalloadingfromwind,snow,iceorotherfactors.Securelyattachthecameratothe
mountingsurfaceusingscrewsandanchorsthatwillproperlysupportthecamera.If
necessary,(e.g.whenmountingthecameratoadropceiling,orunsupportedceiling)usea
safetywiretoprovideadditionalsupportforthecamera.
