To in tall Summit WMScanner, plea e follow the e tep in the order pre ented:
1. Clo e any program running within Window before tarting the in tallation proce .
2. Log on a ‘Admini trator’ or a a u er with admini trative or power u er privilege .
3. Double-click the Summit WMScanner in tallation executable and choo e a location for toring the
temporary in tallation file . The e file can be removed at a later date or kept for product repair or
rein tallation .
4. Read the warning and the licen e agreement. You mu t accept the licen e agreement to continue.
5. To choo e the de tination folder where the program file will be tored on the hard drive, click the
Configure button next to the product election. We recommend you accept the default folder name.
If you choo e a hard drive other than the default C: drive, be ure to al o type in a directory name;
e.g. click on your D: drive and then type in \Program File \SummitWMScanner\.
6. Click Next to begin the in tallation proce .
7. When etup i complete, you are ready to run the oftware by going to the Window Start Menu and
electing Program > Summit WMScanner> Summit WMScanner.
WLAN Card Hardware Removal Procedure

following hardware removal proce . Failure to follow thi proce could cau e your computer to cra h and
lo of data.
Step 1: Fir t, clo e down or en ure that Summit WMScanner i not running
Step 2: Double click the Safe Hardware Removal icon in your y tem tray:
Step 3: Select your Wirele LAN Adapter from the Safely Remove Hardware dialog and choo e Stop
Step 4: Again elect your adapter and elect Ok to confirm you wi h to remove the hardware (Note, thi will
not unin tall the driver. Thi proce imply allow you to afely unplug the adapter from your computer)
