USFM 100 Conversion Kit • Installation Guide
The Extron USFM 100 Conversion Kit converts the ultra short throw projector mount into a
stand-alone wall mounted enclosure. The kit includes a mounting bracket and cover plate to
replace the projector boom arm in the center section of the USFM 100. The necessary screws
and washers are included for easy installation.
Remove Projector Boom Arm
Phillips
Panhead Screws
Hex Screw
Unscrew (6) screws from
Projector Boom Arm Cover
and remove.

Remove (4) screws
(retain for re-installation).

Slide the Plastic Enclosure Covers
away from Projector Boom Arm
and remove from Base Plate.

Unscrew (3) screws from
Projector Boom Arm and
remove from Base Plate.

Install the Mounting Bracket and Cover Plate
Align Mounting Bracket
on Base Plate.
Secure the Mounting Bracket with
(2) screws (#10-32 x 3/8") on the
bottom and (1) screw (1/4"-28 x 3/4")
& washer on the top.

Secure the Plastic Covers
with (4) retained screws.

Loosely fasten (2) Thumbnuts to
the Cover Plate. Align Cover Plate
with keyholes in the Mounting Bracket.
Slide into position and secure.
Slide the Plastic Enclosure Covers
onto the Base Plate. Ensure Tabs slide
beneath the mounting bracket
(Enclosure Covers will be flush with
the Cover Plate).
