Thingsto know beforeusingtheduplicator
1. Pleasereadthis manualcarefullybeforeoperationtoavoidanymisconduct.
2. Makesurethatthe storagedevice youwanttouseisof good qualityandcanbeused normally.
3. Thecapacityoftargetstorage devicemustbegreaterthanorequal tothe capacityofsourcestoragedevice to
avoidincompletedatabackup.
4. It isrecommendedtousetheCopy+Comparefunctionwhenbackingup, toensurethat the backupdatais
100%thesameasthe sourcedata, becausethetargetstoragedevicemayhave writeerrorsordamaged
sectors.
5. Whenupdatingthefirmware,please do notturnoffthepower. Ifthe power isinterruptedaccidentally, the
machinecannot beturned on, and it must bereturnedtothefactoryfor processing.
6. Keeptheduplicatorusedina dryenvironment.Rain,moisture,liquid,etc.maycorrodethe circuit boardand
causethemachineto malfunction.
7. Avoid usingthe duplicatorindustyordustyenvironments. Dustmaycausebadcontact withthe port.
8. Thisproduct warrantydoes not applyto accident,man-madedestruction,abuse,orimproperuse(suchas
usingnotin accordancewiththe product description,orintendedto exceedthe scopeof use forwhichthis
product was designed,orimproper use offixtures, etc.)

1. ProductIntroduction
Thisseriesof PCIeduplicatorshaveacopyspeed ofupto36GB/min.It adopts thelatestNVMe and
SATA3.0 (6Gbps)protocoldesign, and has excellentperformance.Bychangingthe fixture, it can support
1.8” and 2.5”SATAharddisk,orM.2(SATA,NVMe)interfaceSSDduplication.
Usercanexpandthe numberofinterfaces throughserialconnectionbetweenmultiple duplicators, and
canalso adjust the numberof interfaces themselves accordingto capacityrequirements, whichgreatly
improvestheproductionlineworkefficiency.
Supports multiple copyanderasemodes tomeettheneedsofdifferent usagescenarios.
Supports download and copyfunction throughnetworkmapping, youcanconnectto aPCviaUSB3.0
port,getnetwork mappingfile, and copy.Itis availableoncertain model.
Supports real-timemonitoringof thestatusoftheharddisk, which can completelyrecordall the
duplicator'sworkstatus foreasyanalysis. Itisavailableoncertainmodel.

5.Attention
Pleaseprovidea stableACpowersupplytothe duplicator(inorder toavoidlossdueto accidental
powerfailure, itisrecommendedtouseUPScontinuouspower supplysystem),and useitinadryand
cleanenvironmentasmuchaspossible, and avoidplacingit in hightemperatureand humid
environment.
Ensurethatthe duplicator casingisreliablygrounded toprevent the effects ofESDelectrostatic
dischargeonthe machineandhard disks.
Donotremoveorturnoffthepower,orremoveandreplacetheharddiskwhiletheduplicatoris
performing the task,to avoiddamagetothe duplicatorand the hard disk.
Donotdisassembletheduplicator withouttheguidanceandauthorization fromthemanufacturer,
otherwisethecompanywillnot responsible forthedamagecausedtothe duplicatormachine.
Theduplicatormachine hasfunctionssuchasdatacopyinganderasing, and thecompanywill nottake
legalresponsibilityforanyunit orindividual usingthesefunctionsforpiracyorotherillegalacts.
Please readthis manual carefullybeforeusingthe duplicatormachine.
6. Quickstartguide
6.1Start-up andpreparations
A. Connectthepower cordofthe duplicator andturn onthe powerswitch.Atthistime,theredand green
LED lights on each portlightupatthesametime.Afterboot up,thesystemautomaticallyenters into themain

menuand allthe LEDlights areoff. You can use the ▲ and ▼ keys to switch to thefunctionyouwant touse,
presstheStart button(OK button)to start the function, andpressESC keyto returnto theprevious menu.
B. Connect thesourceharddisktothemaster disk (labeled"M")port, and thetargetdiskstobecopiedto
othertargetdiskports(recommended to usethe samesize of masterdiskandtargetdisks).
6.2 FASTCOPY
A. Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to select “FAST COPY” in the main menu.
B. PresstheStartbutton(OK button)to startthefastcopyoperation,andtheduplicatorwillstart torecognize
theharddisk.
C. Afterthemasterdiskis identified,effectivedataanalysisofthe masterdiskisstarted.
D. FastCopybegins after analysis.
E. Afterthecopyingis completed, theLCDwill displaythenumber ofcopysuccess(PASS) and failure
(FAIL),andcopytime of this round. PressESC keyto exit thecurrentroundof copying.Afterreplacingthe
targets to be copied, you can start the nextround of copying.

7.2 Introduction toMainFunctions
7.2.1 FASTCOPY
Theduplicatorwillanalyzethemasterdiskdataandonlycopythevaliddataarea,not theunusedarea.For
example, a500GBsystemdisk,theactualdataisonly100 GBofused space.Inthismode,only100 GBof
valid dataiscopied.
Note:This copymodeis applicabletothecapacityofthetargetdisknotlessthantheeffectivedataareaof
themasterdisk,andthecopieddataofthe target disk iscompletelyconsistentwith theeffectivedataareaofthe
master disk.Theeffectivedataareaofthemasterdiskisnot equaltothecapacityofthe effective data,because
thedatastoragelocationswillnotbecompletelycontinuous. The datavalid areainthemasterdisk representsthe
lastpositionofvaliddata.
Theharddiskshownin thefigureabove hasatotalof100 GB,and red arearepresents validdata.The
effectivedata capacityis50 GB and theeffectivedataareais 70 GB.Therefore,thecapacityofthe target disk
mustbegreaterthan70 GB.
FastCopyProcess:

Analyzeatotal of 50 GB ofvalid dataforPartition1 andPartition2,andtheamountofcopied datais 50
GB.
7.2.2 FULLCOPY
In thismode,the duplicatordoes not perform dataanalysisonthedata ofthemasterdisk, andcompletely
copiesalldata areasof theentiremasterdisk,includingused andunused space.
Note:This copymodeis applicabletothecasewherethephysicalcapacityofthe targetdiskisnotlessthan
thatofthemasterdisk,andthe dataofthecopiedtargetdiskis completelyconsistentwiththe dataofthe master
disk. For theoperationmethod, pleasereferto"6.2FASTCOPY"under"6.QuickStart Guide".

In thismode,the duplicatorwill not analyze themasterdisk data.Before usingthiscopymode, youmust
fullygraspthelocationanddistributionofthemasterdiskdata,or onlywanttocopya specificareaonthehard
disk.
Note:BeforestartingPercent Copy,userneeds tosetthepercentageofdatato be copiedinthesystem
settingmenuin advance.

A.Use the ▲ and ▼ keys to select "8. Setting"inthemainmenu, andpress ENTkey.
B.Use the ▲ and ▼ keys toselect "SetCopyPercent" under “8. Setting” menu, and press ENT key.
C. Setpercentage:use▲and▼keys toadjustthenumber(0to9) ofeachdigitofpercentage, andENTkeyto
changethedigitofpercentage.PressESCkeytoreturntothemainmenuaftersetting.
"2.1%->52.2%"inthefigureaboveindicatesthatthe copied areais from2.1%to52.2%ofthecapacityof
themaster disk.
D.Usethe▲and▼keys to select “Percent Copy” in the main menu.

7.2.4 FAST+% COPY
Thismodeisacombinationof Fast CopyandPercent Copy.Afterselectingthis copymode,theduplicator
firstexecutestheFast Copymode.Aftercopyingthedataofthe masterdisktothetarget disks byFastCopy, the
duplicatorthencopiesthe dataofacertain area of themasterdiskto the target diskaccordingtothe pre-set
percentage;

operation method.

7.2.5 COMPARE
Youcanusethis functionwhenyouneed to checkthe dataofthemasterdiskand the targetdisk. Three
datacomparisonmethodsareavailable for userto choose: 1. Fast Compare;2.FullCompare; 3.Percent
Compare. User can choose the corresponding comparison mode accordingto different needs. If you need to
automaticallycompare thedata after copyingis complete, select"Yes"or "No"in "CMP AfterCopy"underthe
"Setting" sub-menu to enable or disable the comparisonfunction.

A. Onthemainmenu, use the ▲ and ▼ keys to select "Compare" function andpressthe ENTkey. Then
use the ▲ and ▼ keys to selectthe correspondingcomparison from"Fast Compare", "Full Compare",and
"Percent Compare"asrequired.

7.2.5.1 FASTCOMPARE
In this mode,the duplicatorwill automaticallyanalyzethedata ofthemasterdisk, and onlycomparethe
valid dataareas, nottheunusedareas.Forexample,a500GBsystem disk,theactualdataisonly100 GBof
usedspace. In thismode, only100 GBvaliddatais compared. ThemethodissimilartoFast Copy.
7.2.5.2 FULLCOMPARE
In this mode,the duplicatordoesnotneedto analyzethemasterdisk data,anditwillcompare all the
regional data ofthe entiremasterdisk againstthetargetdisks.
7.2.5.3 PERCENTCOMPARE
In thismode,the duplicatordoes not need to analyzethemasterdisk data. Beforeusingthis mode, you
needtoknowthepositionand distributionof themasterdiskdata,orsimplywant tocompareaspecificarea.
Note:BeforePercent Compare, youneedtoset the percentageofdatatobecompared in advance.The
settingmethodisthesame as “7.2.3 Percent Copy”, pleaserefertosection“Set Copy Percent”.
7.2.6 Erase
Thisoperationcanerasethedataofmultipletargetdiscsatthesametime.Three erasingmodesareavailable:
FastErase,Full Erase,andDoDErase.
※Operationprocedure:
A.In themain menu, usethe ▲and ▼keystoselect "Erase"function,andpressENTkeytoenterintothe
submenuselection.
B. Use▲and▼buttonstoselect“FAST ERASE”、“FULLERA(00)”and “DODERASE”.

7.2.6.3 DoDERASE
ThisfunctionerasesdataaccordingtotheUSDepartmentofDefense DOD5220.22-M data erasurestandard.
Iterasesallsectorsoftheharddiskthreetimes.Theerasingtimeisequivalenttothreefull erasingtimes:erasingin
(00),(FF),and(RDM)formatsrespectively.
DODeraseprocedure:
Note:If it takes1hourfora completeerase, it willtake3hours for DODerase.
7.2.7 TOOLS
The"Tools"menu allows you toviewharddriveinformationorcreateanupgrade discforupdatingthe
duplicatorsoftware.
7.2.7.1 DISKINFO
Underthismenu, youcanview theharddrive capacity, brand/modelandserialnumber.

7.2.7.2 MAKE UPDATEDISK
Createanupgradedisk forupgradingthe duplicatorsoftware.

7.2.8 SETTING
Thesystemsettingsincludethe duplicator'sworkingparametersettings.Generally,thefactorydefault
settings can beused.If youreallyneed tomodifythesystem settings,besuretoconfirm thesettingchange.
7.2.8.1 CMPAFTERCOPY(N)
Thisoptionisused to set whethertoperformdatacomparison aftercopyingiscompleted. If set to"Yes",
thedatacomparisonwillbestartedautomaticallyafter theduplicator completesthecopytask;ifset to"No",the
comparisonwillnotbeperformed automaticallyafterthecopying. Thedefault is "No".
7.2.8.2 SETCOPYPERCENT
Thisoptionisused incombination with "PercentCopy"and"Percent Compare".You need toset the
required percentagebeforePercent Copyor PercentCompare.

7.2.8.3 COPYUNKNOWN(N)
Thissettingisused insomespecialareaswhen itisimpossibletoperformcomprehensivedata analysis.If
youselect"Yes",thepartitions of validdata cannot be analyzedin thequickcopy,and thecontentswillbe
copied. If you select No, thecopyfails(the default is No).
7.2.8.4 ERASEPATTERN(00)
This settingisused tosettheerase data format of the full-diskerasefunction. Differentdata such as00,5A,
A5,AA,FF,RDM(random value) canbeselectedtowritetothe targetdisks(thedefaultvalueis00).
7.2.8.5 SPEEDMOD(AUTO)
Setthemodeoftheduplicator speedbasedontheharddisks used, whichis3Gb,6Gb,andAUTO
respectively. It is recommendedtoselectthe AUTO modeforautomaticmatching(default is AUTO).
3Gb:for slowerharddisks
6Gb:forhigher speedharddisks
AUTO: The duplicator willautomaticallyrecognize thehard disk andusetherightmode
7.2.8.6 SETPASSWORD
Password settingsfortheduplicator toprevent operatorsfrom randomlysetting parametersandcausing
duplicationerrors.

B. Press the ▲ and ▼ keys to set the corresponding passwords respectively.
C.PressESCkeytoexitandsavepasswordsettings.
7.2.8.7 CAPACITYCHECK(N)
Whether to check thecapacityofthetarget disk whencopying,youcanselect"Yes" or"No"(thedefault is
"No").Youneedtocombinethe"CapacityCheckScore"setting.Whenthisfunctionisturnedon,the hard disc
with alargedifferencefromthe averagecapacityofthe target disk willberemoved.
7.2.8.8 KICKSLOWDISK(N)
Youcanselect "Yes"or"No"to turnthis function onoroff(thedefaultis "No").After thisfunctionisturned
on,thedisk withslowspeed willbekicked out duringcopying.Theslowspeedratiocanbeset, andthe hard
disk willberemoved ifitsspeedis lowerthanthesetting.
Note:The kick-off referencevalueis setinthe "Setting->Advanced-> Set KickPercent"menu.
7.2.8.9 ADVANCED
Thismenuismainlyusedfor settingadvancedsystem parameters.
7.2.8.9.1 POWERONTIME
Thisistosettheharddiskstartuptimebefore thecopystarts,whichcanensurethenormalrotation ofthehard
disk head. Itcanbesetto1to30seconds(the defaultvalue is 6S).
