çal›flt›rmadan önce yal›t›m ka¤›d›n› pilden ay›r›n›z.
Transparan kab›n cihaza tak›l› olup olmad›¤›n› kontrol ediniz.
Cihaz› düz bir zemine koyarak açma-kapama tufluna (Ø)
bas›n›z. E¤er cihaz ‘0’ dan farkl› bir rakam› gösteriyorsa kalibre
edilmesi gerekmektedir. (Lütfen kalibrasyon bölümüne bak›n›z)
Açma-kapama tufluna (Ø) 3 saniye bas›l› tutarak cihaz›
kapatabilirsiniz.
5 dakika boyunca hiç bir ifllem yap›lmaz ise cihaz kendini

yap›lmas› kolayd›r. ‹lk malzemeyi kaba eklendikten sonra (Ø)
tufluna bir kere basarak tart›y› s›f›rlayabilir ve di¤er malzemeleri
de s›rayla kaba ekleyip ölçmeye devam edebilirsiniz.

Scale. It was developed and manufactured to work reliably
for many years.
These operating instructions are intended to enable the safe and
proper handling and operation of the appliance.
Read these operating instructions carefully before using the
appliance for the first time.
Keep the operating instructions in a safe place. Include these
operating instructions when passing the appliance on to another
user.

CE Declaration of Conformity The appliance bears the CE mark on the rating plate.
Usage Area This appliance is suitable for places; home, office. Do not
use appliance for other than intended use and never use this
appliance outdoors. Please take care that this scale is not
designed for commercial or medical use.
Unauthorized Use The examples of unauthorized use listed here can result in
malfunctions, damage to the appliance or personal injury:
• This appliance is not designed to be used by persons
(including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
capacities or by persons lacking in experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone who is
responsible for their safety or have received instructions on
how to use the appliance. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• Childrenshould be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance. Home appliances are not toys for
children! Therefore, use and store the appliance away from
the reach of children. Children do not recognize the danger
involved with handling an appliance. Keep packaging films
away from children - danger of suffocation!

• The scale does not contain any parts that can be repaired
by the user. Please refer to authorized Fakir services if any
failure occurs.
• Read all instructions before operating the scale.
• Use the scale only for the purpose intended.

surface. Do not place the appliance edge of table or counter,
it may fall and cause damage.

Only detachable measuring cup is suitable for
dishwasher. Do not put the whole appliance in to the
dishwasher.

Power On/Off This appliance includes 1 pcs lithium battery (CR2450). Before
using, take off the isolation band from the battery.
Make sure the cup is attached to the base.
Place the cup scale on a flat surface and press the (Ø) button
to turn on the unit. It should read 0 for your empty cup. If not,
please calibrate the cup following the instruction in the
“CALIBRATION” section.
Hold (Ø) button for 3 seconds to turn off the unit.
The unit turns off automatically after 5 minutes in idle state.
Weight-Volume
Measurement DigiCup kitchen scale is built in the measuring cup and it can
measure both the weight and the volume of your food and
revert weight to volume of your selected ingredients ; water,
milk, oil, sugar or flour.
Weight Measurement
1)Select “SCALE” display mode by pressing [M] button
repeatedly until the arrow icon is pointing to “Scale”
2)Press [U] to choose desired weight unit.
3)Place the ingredient into the cup which is on the flat surface.
4)Place the cup on a flat table to display the reading.
Volume Measurement
1)Select the ingredient between water, milk, oil, sugar or flour
by pressing [M] button repeatedly
2)Press [U] to change to the desired unit.

NOT!
There are different types of milk, oil, sugar or flour in the
market. Different types, brands & origins of the same
ingredient have different density. For this reason, some
variation on the volume measurement will occur
depending on the type of ingredients you are using.
The volume reading provided by the cup can only be
used as an approximate value. The density and type of
ingredients being used in the cup are shown below.

Tare (set zero) Function It is easy and convenient to build up & mix different ingredients
together all in the same cup with DigiCup kitchen scale. After
the first ingredient is added and measured, press (Ø) button
to reset the reading zero and you may add another ingredient
after performing the tare function below.
NOTICE!
The tare function only operate when the cup is placed
on a flat surface
Reversing the Tare Function Right after the tare function has been performed and the
display is showing “0” reading with the “TARE” icon appeared,
you can press (Ø) button to resume the original weight or
volume reading just before the tare function.

The reverse tare function only operate when the cup is
placed on a flat surface
Replacing Battery Slide down the battery door to open. Replace 1 piece of
CR2450 battery according to the polarity indicated and close
the battery door.
Calibration To ensure accurate measurement, you are suggested to check
the weight of an empty cup, it should read 0. If it shows another
number, it surely requires calibration.
To calibrate 1)Make sure the transparent cup is attached to the base.
2)Make sure the cup is empty and clean.
3)Turn on the unit by a single press of the (Ø) button.
4)Make sure the cup is placed steadily on a flat surface. Hold
(Ø) for 6 seconds until “CAL” flashes. Do not touch or move
the cup when “CAL” is flashing.
The display reading will show “0” and the calibration is
completed.

Cleaning the appliance • The transparent cup is dishwasher safe and it is detachable
for cleaning but do not put the whole appliance in to the
dishwasher. In this case, the digital display will be damaged.
• Use damp cloth to clean the base and the handle.
• Do not use boiling water to clean the transparent cup as it
can withstand up to 70°C maximum.
• Avoid contact with acids citrus juices.,
Storage To extend product life span, remove any food or liquid from
the cup scale when it is not in use.
If the service life of the device has ended, dispose of the
device according to the environmental regulations applicable
in your country. Bring the worn-out device to a collection
center. The packaging of the device consists of recycling
capable materials. Place these, sorted out according to
material, in the collectors provided, so that recycling can be
carried out on them.
This appliance is compatible with 2002/96/EC WEEE directive.
Disposal

Troubleshooting
Carry the appliance in the original package or a similar, well-
padded package to prevent damage to the appliance. Always
keep the original package.
