Instructions for Using the
Laminator

1) Go upstairs to the check out desk and
purchase your laminate. The cost is $1/sheet

2) Turn on the laminator by flipping the
switch at the rear right side of the machine.

3) The laminator will cycle through all of the control
buttons, flashing them as part of a self check. Once the
self check is done, touch the power symbol.

4) Make sure that the auto button is selected.
This is for “hot” lamination.

5) The machine must warm up. Wait until the machine
beeps and the 3mil light is lit. If more lights than just the
3mil light glow, don’t worry. It’s fine!

6) Place your document inside the laminating sheet.
Make sure the item to be laminated is snug against the
sealed edge of the laminating sheet.

7) Place your document into the slot at the front of the
laminating machine with the sealed edge first.** Do not use
force, the laminator will feed the pouch through on its own.
IMPORTANT: The
sealed edge must
go in first or the
document will
JAM!

6) The document will be fed through the laminator and
exit through the back. Do not pull on the document.
Wait until it is completely fed through, then remove.

7) Once you are done laminating, turn off the
machine by flipping the switch on the rear right
side of the machine.

Note: If a document does jam, press and hold the
reverse button (it looks like a circular arrow) and
pull out the pouch by hand.
