FERRULES DIRECT’S FD120K pneumatic press is a versatile, heavy duty machine
capable of crimping wire ferrules ranging from 24 to 4AWG (0.25 to 24.0mm2),
2AWG to 1/0 (35.0 to 56.0mm2), and 3/0 to 300MCM (95.0 to 175.0mm2).
• Versatile: Die sets can be changed in seconds, A full selection of crimping die
sets( sold seperately) complement the FD120K.
• Powerful: With a 2.5T compression force, FD120K can crimp all types of terminals
and connectors including: wire ferrules, coaxial cables, open barrel terminals,
and ag terminals.
• Heavy Duty: A Veritable work horse, the FD120K press is ideal for crimping large
quantities of connectors
• Light Weight: Weighing only 14.3 lbs (6.5kg), the FD120K crimping press can easily
be transported from one location to another.

Ensure the FD120K is disconnected from the air
source and foot pedal
Remove bolts in the Crimping Head and place a
compatible die set
Replace bolts securing the compatible die set
Insert air tubing in Port A and B, connecting the air
source and foot pedal
The FD120K is now ready to use, while crimping keep your hands clear of the
crimping head to prevent personal injury

• Use the FD120K for recommended
uses only, according to the
manufacturer’s instruction manual.
Improper use can create hazards
• Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles
and heavy duty work gloves during
use.
• Keep bystanders clear of your
work space during assembly and
operation.
• Keep hands and ngers away from
the crimping die set and moving parts
during operation. This tool creates
approximately 2.5 tons of crimping
force.
• Maintain proper footing and balance
at all times, ensuring better control
during operation and assembly.
• Do not assemble or operate when
tired or when under the inuence of
drugs or medication.
• NEVER attempt to crimp wires that
are plugged into an outlet and
electrically charged.
• Refer to the wire manufacturer’s
instruction manual for specic wire
crimping instructions prior to using this
product.
• Maintain product label and name
plates. These carry important, If
unreadable or missing, contact
Ferrules Direct.
• Equipment Medium: compressed air
(after it has gone through a 40-micron
air lter).
• Lubricate moving parts every 10,000
crimping cycles, adding a few drops
of a normal lubricant used for this
purpose.
• Every few months, check that all
bolts and screws are still properly
tightened. Proceed accordingly if
not.
• Do not operate the FD120K in
environments with high temperature
or humidity, recomended operating
conditions: 40-120°F.
• If it is used in low temperature
environment, anti-freeze measures
should be taken to prevent water in
the system from freezing.
• When not in use unplug the air tubing,
block open ports with dust caps, and
turn off the air compressor.
• Store the FD120K in a dry, cool place
and cover it with a suitable blanket to
avoid dust and possible rust spot.
