Sie haben von Ihrem Orthopädietechniker eine individuell hergestellte Orthese mit einem hochwertigen frei
beweglichen Systemkniegelenk von FIOR & GENTZ erhalten.
1. Sicherheitshinweise
1.1 Klassifizierung der Sicherheitshinweise

WARNUNG
Sturzgefahr durch falschen Schuh/falsche Schuhsprengung
Tragen Sie einen Schuh, auf den die Orthese eingestellt ist, um Störungen der Gelenkfunktion zu vermeiden.

Wenn Sie Veränderungen an der Orthese bemerken (z. B. locker sitzende Gelenkbauteile oder veränderte
Federkräfte), suchen Sie umgehend Ihren Orthopädietechniker auf.

Einschränkung der Gelenkfunktion durch unsachgemäße Reinigung
Reinigen Sie die Orthese und das Systemgelenk wie in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung beschrieben. Fetten Sie
das Systemgelenk nicht selbst. Suchen Sie bei Bedarf Ihren Orthopädietechniker auf.
2. Verwendungszweck
Die frei beweglichen Systemkniegelenke von FIOR&GENTZ sind ausschließlich für die orthetische Versor-
gung der unteren Extremität einzusetzen und nur durch Orthopädietechniker zu verbauen. Alle FIOR & GENTZ
Systemgelenke wurden für Aktivitäten des täglichen Lebens wie Stehen und Gehen entwickelt. Extreme Bean-
spruchungen wie Laufen, Klettern und Fallschirmspringen sind ausgeschlossen.
Folgende frei bewegliche Systemkniegelenke gehören zum FIOR&GENTZ Sortiment:

3. Reinigung der Orthese
Reinigen Sie die Orthese in regelmäßigen Abständen. Tauchen Sie die Orthese mit Systemgelenken aus Metall
nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten. Reinigen Sie die Orthese mit einem leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.
Sparen Sie den Bereich um das jeweilige Systemgelenk aus und reinigen Sie dieses nur oberflächlich mit einem
trockenen Tuch. Entfernen Sie anschließend sichtbaren Staub und Fusseln mithilfe einer Pinzette aus der
Mechanik. Kontrollieren Sie dazu die Orthese in gerader und gebeugter Stellung.
4. Wartung der Orthese
Lassen Sie das Systemgelenk Ihrer Orthese alle 6 Monate von Ihrem Orthopädietechniker warten.
Bringen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisung zu jeder Kontrolle mit und lassen Sie den nächsten Termin von Ihrem
Orthopädietechniker in die Tabelle auf der Rückseite eintragen. Führen Sie Wartungsarbeiten oder sonstige
Anpassungen und Reparaturen niemals selbst durch. Bei Kindern und Menschen mit kognitiven Einschrän-
kungen weisen wir Sie als Eltern oder Pflegepersonal darauf hin, dass Sie die Orthese bzw. das Systemgelenk
regelmäßig auf Verschleißerscheinungen überprüfen müssen. Setzen Sie sich bei Auälligkeiten schnellstmög-
lich mit Ihrem Orthopädietechniker in Verbindung.
5. Entsorgung der Orthese
Wenn Sie die Orthese nicht mehr benötigen, geben Sie diese bei Ihrem Orthopädietechni-
ker ab. Das Produkt darf nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden (Abb.1).
6. CE-Konformität
Wir erklären, dass unsere Medizinprodukte sowie unser Zubehör für Medizinprodukte allen Anforderungen
der Verordnung (EU) 2017/745 entsprechen. Die Produkte werden von FIOR & GENTZ mit dem CE-Kennzeichen
versehen.

All serious incidents according to Regulation (EU) 2017/745 which are related to the product have to be
reported to the manufacturer and to the competent authority of the Member State in which the orthotist or
qualified/trained expert and/or the patient is established.

Wear a shoe to which your orthosis is adjusted in order to avoid joint dysfunction.

If you notice any changes on the orthosis (e.g. loosely attached joint components or changed spring forces),
immediately contact your orthotist.
NOTICE
Limitation of Joint Function Due to Improper Cleaning
Clean the orthosis and the system joint as described in these instructions for use. Do not grease the system
joint on your own. If necessary, consult your orthotist.
2. Application
The FIOR &GENTZ free moving system knee joints are exclusively for use for orthotic fittings of the lower
extremity. They must be handled by an orthotist or qualified/trained expert. All FIOR &GENTZ system joints
were developed for everyday life activities such as standing and walking. Extreme loads connected to activities
like running, climbing and parachuting are excluded.

3. Cleaning the Orthosis
Clean the orthosis regularly. Do not immerse the orthosis with metal system joints in water or other liquids.
Instead, clean the orthosis with a damp cloth. Leave out the area around the system joint and clean it only
superficially with a dry cloth. Remove visible dust and lint from the mechanics by using tweezers. Check the
orthosis in straight and flexed position.
4. Maintenance of the Orthosis
Ask your orthotist or qualified/trained expert to check the system joint of your orthosis every 6 months.
Bring these instructions for use to each follow-up and let your orthotist or qualified/trained expert enter
the next appointment in the table on the back. Never carry out maintenance work or other adjustments and
repairs yourself. In the case of children and people with cognitive impairments, we would like to point out to
you as parents or care team that you must regularly check the orthosis and the system joint for signs of wear.
If you notice any changes, immediately contact your orthotist or qualified/trained expert.
5. Disposal of the Orthosis
If you no longer need the orthosis, please return it to your orthotist or qualified/trained
expert. The product must not be disposed of with the residual waste (fig.1).
6. CE conformity
We declare that our medical devices as well as our accessories for medical devices are in conformity with the
requirements of Regulation (EU) 2017/745. Therefore, the FIOR & GENTZ products bear the CE marking.

2. Usage prévu
Les articulations de genou modulaires à mouvement libre de FIOR &GENTZ sont destinées uniquement à
l’appareillage orthétique des membres inférieurs et ne doivent être intégrées que par des orthopédistes ou des
experts qualifiés/formés. Toutes les articulations modulaires de FIOR&GENTZ ont été conçues pour les activi-
tés de la vie quotidienne, par exemple la station debout et la marche. Les sollicitations extrêmes telles que la
course, l’escalade et le parachutisme sont exclues.

3. Nettoyage de l'orthèse
Nettoyez l'orthèse à intervalles réguliers. N’immergez pas l’orthèse avec les articulations modulaires en métal
dans l’eau ni dans tout autre liquide. Nettoyez l'orthèse avec un chion légèrement humidifié. Ce faisant, évi-
tez la zone entourant l’articulation modulaire et essuyez-la seulement en surface avec un chion sec. Éliminez
ensuite la poussière visible et les peluches, à l'aide d'une pincette, de la partie mécanique. Contrôlez à cet eet
l'orthèse en extension et en flexion.
4. Maintenance de l'orthèse
Veuillez faire entretenir l'articulation modulaire de votre orthèse tous les 6mois par votre orthopédiste ou
un expert qualifié/formé. Apportez la présente notice d’utilisation à chaque contrôle et demandez à votre
orthopédiste ou un expert qualifié/formé d'inscrire la prochaine date dans le tableau au verso. N'eectuez
jamais vous-même des travaux de maintenance, d'autres ajustements ou réparations. Pour les enfants et les
personnes sourant de troubles cognitifs, nous vous signalons, en tant que parents ou personnel soignant,
que vous devez inspecter régulièrement l'orthèse et l'articulation modulaire pour détecter tout signe d'usure.
Contactez dès que possible votre orthopédiste ou un expert qualifié/formé en cas d'anomalies.
5. Élimination de l'orthèse
Si vous n'avez plus besoin de l'orthèse, remettez-la à votre orthopédiste ou un expert
qualifié/formé. Le dispositif ne doit pas être jeté dans les ordures ménagères (Fig.1).
6. Conformité CE
Nous déclarons que nos dispositifs médicaux ainsi que nos accessoires les équipant satisfont à toutes les
exigences du règlement (UE) 2017/745. FIOR&GENTZ applique le marquage CE sur ses dispositifs.

Se si notano variazioni nell'ortesi (ad es. componenti dell'articolazione allentati o variazioni delle forze ela-
stiche), rivolgersi immediatamente al proprio tecnico ortopedico o ad un professionista qualificato/abilitato.

Limitazione della funzione dell'articolazione a causa di una pulizia inappropriata
Pulire l'ortesi e l'articolazione modulare come descritto nelle presenti istruzioni per l'uso. Non lubrificare
personalmente l'articolazione modulare. Se necessario, rivolgersi al proprio tecnico ortopedico o ad un
professionista qualificato/abilitato.
2. Destinazione d'uso
Le articolazioni per ginocchio modulari con movimento libero FIOR& GENTZ devono essere impiegate esclu-
sivamente per il trattamento ortesico degli arti inferiori e montate unicamente da tecnici ortopedici o pro-
fessionisti qualificati/abilitati. Tutte le articolazioni modulari FIOR & GENTZ sono state sviluppate per attività
quotidiane come il mantenimento della posizione eretta e la deambulazione. Sono esclusi sforzi estremi come
corsa, arrampicata e paracadutismo.

3. Pulizia dell'ortesi
Pulire l'ortesi a intervalli regolari. Non immergere l'ortesi con articolazioni modulari di metallo in acqua o in
altri liquidi. Pulire l'ortesi con un panno leggermente inumidito. Evitare di passare il panno umido nella zona
attorno all'articolazione modulare e pulire questa zona solo superficialmente con un panno asciutto. Quindi
utilizzare una pinzetta per rimuovere la polvere visibile e la lanugine dalle parti meccaniche. Controllare inol-
tre l'ortesi in posizione estesa e piegata.
4. Manutenzione dell'ortesi
Far eseguire la manutenzione dell'articolazione dell'ortesi ogni 6 mesi dal proprio tecnico ortopedico o da un
professionista qualificato/abilitato. Portare con sé queste istruzioni per l'uso a ogni controllo e chiedere al
proprio tecnico ortopedico o ad un professionista qualificato/abilitato di annotare il successivo appuntamento
nella tabella sul retro. Non eseguire mai lavori di manutenzione o altre modifiche e riparazioni personal-
mente. Per bambini e persone con limiti cognitivi, raccomandiamo ai genitori o al personale di assistenza di
controllare regolarmente l'ortesi o più precisamente l'articolazione modulare per verificare la presenza di segni
di deterioramento. In presenza di anomalie, contattare immediatamente il proprio tecnico ortopedico o un
professionista qualificato/abilitato.
5. Smaltimento dell'ortesi
Se non ha più bisogno della Sua ortesi, La consegni al Suo tecnico ortopedico o ad un
professionista qualificato/abilitato. Il prodotto non deve essere smaltito nei normali rifiuti
domestici (fig. 1).
6. Conformità CE
Si dichiara che i nostri dispositivi medici e i relativi accessori rispettano tutti i requisiti applicabili del regola-
mento (UE) 2017/745. I prodotti sono contrassegnati da FIOR & GENTZ con il marchio CE.

2. Uso previsto
Las articulaciones de rodilla de sistema de movimiento libre de FIOR & GENTZ están diseñadas para uso exclu-
sivo en ortesis de miembro inferior y solo deben ser montadas por técnicos ortopédicos o expertos cualificados/
capacitados. Todas las articulaciones de sistema de FIOR & GENTZ están construidas para actividades de la
vida cotidiana como estar de pie y caminar. Actividades extremas como correr, el alpinismo y el paracaidismo
quedan excluidas.
La gama de FIOR &GENTZ incluye las articulaciones de rodilla de sistema de movimiento libre siguientes:

3. Limpieza de la ortesis
Limpie la ortesis regularmente. No sumerja la ortesis con articulaciones de sistema de metal en agua u otros
líquidos. Limpie la ortesis con un paño ligeramente humedecido. No limpie el área alrededor de la articulación
de sistema con un paño húmedo y limpie la articulación de sistema solo superficialmente con un paño seco.
Después, quite polvo y pelusas visibles de la mecánica con pinzas. Para eso, controle la ortesis en posición
recta y flexionada.
4. Mantenimiento de la ortesis
Lleve la articulación de sistema de su ortesis cada 6 meses a su técnico ortopédico o a un experto cualificado/
capacitado para que la mantenga. También lleve estas instrucciones de uso a cada control y deje que su téc-
nico ortopédico o un experto cualificado/capacitado apunte la próxima cita en la tabla al dorso. Nunca haga
trabajos de mantenimiento u otras adaptaciones y reparaciones usted mismo. Si se trata de niños o personas
con disfunción cognitiva, los padres o el personal sanitario deben controlar regularmente si la ortesis o la
articulación de sistema muestra signos de desgaste. Si nota algún cambio, póngase en contacto con su técnico
ortopédico o un experto cualificado/capacitado lo antes posible.
5. Eliminación de la ortesis
Si ya no necesita la ortesis, entréguela a su técnico ortopédico o a un experto cualificado/
capacitado. El producto no debe ser eliminado a través de la basura doméstica (fig. 1).
6. Conformidad CE
Declaramos que nuestros productos sanitarios así como nuestros accesorios para productos sanitarios cumplen
todos los requisitos del Reglamento (UE) 2017/745. Los productos están señalados por FIOR & GENTZ con el

1. Veiligheidsaanwijzingen

2. Toepassing
De vrij beweegbare systeemkniegewrichten van FIOR&GENTZ mogen uitsluitend worden toegepast voor
de orthetische verzorging van de onderste extremiteiten en mogen alleen door orthopedische technici of
gekwalificeerde/opgeleide experts worden toegepast. Alle FIOR & GENTZ systeemgewrichten werden ontwikkeld
voor activiteiten in het dagelijks leven zoals staan en lopen. Extreme belastingen zoals rennen, klimmen en
parachutespringen zijn uitgesloten.

3. Schoonmaken van de orthese
Maak de orthese regelmatig schoon. Dompel de orthese met systeemgewrichten van metaal niet in water of
andere vloeistoen. Maak de orthese schoon met een licht vochtige doek. Gebruik deze niet in de buurt van
het betreende systeemgewricht en maak dit alleen oppervlakkig schoon met een droge doek. Verwijder hierna
zichtbaar stof en pluizen met behulp van een pincet uit de mechanica. Controleer hiervoor de orthese in rechte
en gebogen positie.
4. Onderhoud van de orthese
Laat het systeemgewricht van uw orthese om de 6maanden door een orthopedisch technicus of gekwalifi-
ceerde/opgeleide expert onderhouden. Neem deze gebruiksaanwijzing voor elke controle mee en laat hier de
volgende afspraak door uw orthopedisch technicus of gekwalificeerde/opgeleide expert invullen in de tabel
op de achterzijde. Voer onderhoudswerkzaamheden of overige aanpassingen en reparaties nooit zelf uit. Bij
kinderen en personen met cognitieve beperkingen wijzen wij u als ouders of verplegend personeel erop dat u
de orthese of het systeemgewricht regelmatig moet controleren op slijtageverschijnselen. Neem bij opvallende
zaken zo snel mogelijk contact op met een orthopedisch technicus of gekwalificeerde/opgeleide expert.
5. Afvoer van de orthese
Wanneer u de orthese niet meer nodig hebt, geef deze dan af bij een orthopedisch tech-
nicus of gekwalificeerde/opgeleide expert. Het product mag niet via het huisvuil worden
afgevoerd (afb.1).
6. CE-overeenstemming
Wij verklaren dat onze medische hulpmiddelen evenals ons toebehoren voor medische hulpmiddelen voldoen
aan alle eisen van de verordening (EU) 2017/745. De hulpmiddelen worden door FIOR & GENTZ voorzien van de
CE-markering.
