Beachten Sie bei der Montage und bei der Verwendung dieses Heck-Fahrradträgers unbedingt
die folgenden Sicherheitshinweise:
• Betriebsanleitung während der Lebensdauer des Produktes aufbewahren
• Betriebsanleitung an nachfolgende Besitzer und Nutzer des Produktes weitergeben
HINWEIS: Lesen Sie unbedingt diese Betriebsanleitung sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie mit der
Montage des Heck-Fahrradträgers beginnen! Beachten Sie besonders die Sicherheitshinweise!
Montieren und / oder benutzen Sie das Produkt nicht, wenn Sie Zweifel an einer sorgfältigen
Montage haben. Bauen Sie das Zubehör nicht ein und benutzen Sie es nicht, wenn die mitgelie-
ferte Ausstattung nicht vollständig ist.
• Die Riemen dürfen nicht zu anderen Zwecken oder mit anderen Zurrschnallen verwendet wer-
den. Die Riemen sind aufzubewahren und nur in einwandfreiem Zustand zu verwenden.
• Nötigenfalls sind weitere Riemen zu verwenden.
• Regelmäßig zu prüfen ist der Verschluss der Sperrräder und der Zustand der Riemen, die bei
Verschleiß auszutauschen sind.
• Bei Fahrzeugen mit automatischem Heckscheibenwischer müssen die Wischerblätter abge-
nommen werden, weil sie sonst mit dem Fahrradträger in Berührung kommen und Schaden
nehmen können.
• Durch die hinten angebrachte Last ändert sich gegenüber den Angaben des Autoherstellers
die Gewichtsverteilung auf den Achsen. Dieses veränderte Gewicht darf nicht höher sein,
als die vom Hersteller angegebene Zuladung (siehe Fahrzeugschein). Die zulässige Achslast
darf bei Beladung mit Fahrrädern nicht überschritten werden.
• Das Eigengewicht des Heck-Fahrradträgers beträgt 9,65 kg!
• Maximale Tragkraft des Fahrradträgers: 45 kg (2 Fahrräder).

vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für den FISCHER Heck-Fahrradträger entschieden haben.
Mit diesem Gerät können Sie einfach und komfortabel bis zu 2 Fahrräder mit ihrem
PKW transportieren. Dieser Heck-Fahrradträger wird als Bausatz geliefert.
Sie müssen diesen Heck-Fahrradträger vor der ersten Verwendung sorgfältig anhand
dieser Betriebsanleitung montieren.

Fahrtechnische Sicherheitshinweise
• Nicht den Heckscheibenwischer verwenden. (32)
• Fahrgeschwindigkeit: Beachten Sie immer die laut Straßenverkehrsordnung erlaubte
Höchstgeschwindigkeit. Unabhängig davon empfehlen wir beim Transport von Fahrrädern
mit diesem Heck-Fahrradträger eine maximale Reisegeschwindigkeit von 120 km/h!
• Es wird dringend empfohlen, die Geschwindigkeit, insbesondere in den Kurven, herabzusetzen
und den Sicherheitsabstand zu erhöhen.
• Die Befestigung des Hecktragesystems ist vom Fahrzeugführer regelmäßig zu überprüfen.
• Achtung: Lt. § 22 der StVZO ist der Fahrer für die Sicherung der Ladung verantwortlich.
• Denken Sie immer daran, dass die im Bestimmungsland gültige Gesetzgebung beachtet
werden muss.
• Dem durch das Hecktragesystem und der Ladung verursachten, verändertem Fahr- und
Bremsverhalten sollte durch angepasste Geschwindigkeit Rechnung getragen werden.
• Seitenwind: Reduzieren Sie bei Seitenwind die Fahrgeschwindigkeit!
• Bremsen, Beschleunigen, Kurvenfahren: Vermeiden Sie ruckartiges Bremsen und Beschleuni-
gen! Vermeiden Sie ruckartige Lenkbewegungen!
• Achten Sie während der Fahrt, im Rückwärtsgang und beim Manövrieren auf die seitlichen,
hinteren und oberen Abmessungen der Fahrräder. (33)
• Mit Fahrradträger keine Feldwege befahren. ACHTUNG beim Queren von Bordsteinkanten und
Fahrbahnschwellen, insbesondere von Bodenschwellen zur Verkehrsberuhigung.
• Rückwärts Fahren und rückwärts Einparken: Beachten Sie beim rückwärts Fahren und beim
rückwärts Einparken die Gesamtlänge des Fahrzeuges mit montiertem Heck-Fahrradträger!
• Sichtbeeinträchtigung nach hinten: Bei Sichtbeeinträchtigung nach hinten sind am Fahrzeug
geeignete Rückspiegel (z. B. rechter Außenspiegel oder Anhängerrückspiegel) zu montieren.
• Werden gleichzeitig ein Anhänger und ein Fahrradträger verwendet, ist zu kontrollieren, ob an
den Seiten ausreichend Platz für Fahrmanöver ist.
• Heck-Fahrradträger überprüfen: Überprüfen Sie die Befestigungsbänder und Riemen vor der
Montage, beschädigte Bänder und Riemen müssen sofort ausgetauscht werden. Überprüfen
Sie nach der Erstmontage alle Verbindungen am Fahrrad-Heckträger (Schrauben, Riemen,
Muttern) sowie die Befestigung der Ladung nach kurzer Fahrstrecke. Danach sollten Sie in
regelmäßigen Abständen erneut diese Verbindungen überprüfen (30) (bei schlechten Stra-
ßenverhältnissen entsprechend öfter)! Überprüfen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch, ob das Produkt
unbeschädigt ist.
• Für Fahrten in Italien und Spanien: Der Heck-Fahrradträger ragt über die im Fahrzeugschein
angegebenen Abmessungen hinaus. Montieren Sie die in dem jeweiligen Land vorgeschriebene
Warntafel!
Sicherheitshinweise für die Fahrräder
• Auf dem Fahrradträger dürfen keine Tandems transportiert werden.
• Fahrradteile xieren: Prüfen Sie die Teile der beförderten Fahrräder auf festen Sitz und achten
Sie darauf, dass Sie während der Fahrt keine Fahrradteile (Seitenständer, Klingel, Sattel)
verlieren! Fahrradzubehörteile wie z.B. Kindersitze, Luftpumpe, Körbe und Gepäckträger dürfen
beim Transport nicht am Fahrrad montiert sein! (32)
• Achtung: Achten Sie bei der Montage der Fahrräder darauf, dass diese nicht mehr als 40 cm
über den Umriss des Fahrzeugs hinausragen! (31)
• ACHTUNG beim Öffnen des Kofferraums: Die Gummiauagen P (2) (siehe Seite 39) können die
Karosserie in der Nähe der Scharniere verbeulen.
• Vorsicht: Wenn Sie den Heck-Fahrradträger auf den PKW montieren, muss der Motor
abgestellt, die Zündung ausgeschaltet und die Handbremse angezogen sein!
• Achtung: Decken Sie die Fahrräder während der Fahrt nicht mit Tüchern ab.
• Achtung: Die Ladung muss korrekt auf den hinteren Fahrradträger verteilt werden. Beachten
Sie bei der Montage der Fahrräder, dass das schwerere der beiden Fahrräder auf die innere
Schiene montiert werden muss. Der Schwerpunkt der Ladung muss möglichst tief und nahe
am Fahrzeug liegen.
• Achtung: Bei einigen Fahrrädern könnte es notwendig sein, die Lenkstange zu drehen. Achten
Sie auf die Position der Pedale.

• Achtung: Bauen Sie den Fahrradträger ab, bevor Sie das Fahrzeug durch eine Autowasch-
anlage waschen lassen!
• Achtung: Alle Personen, die Ihr Fahrzeug mit montiertem Fahrradträger benutzen, müssen über
diese Sicherheitshinweise informiert werden. Bei Weitergabe dieses Produktes an Dritte geben
Sie bitte diese Betriebsanleitung mit den zugehörigen Sicherheitshinweisen mit! Das Produkt
darf nicht verändert werden!
• Hinweis: Aus Gründen der Sicherheit anderer Verkehrsteilnehmer und der Energieeinsparung
(Kraftstoffverbrauch) ist der Fahrradträger bei Nichtbenutzung vom Fahrzeug abzunehmen.
• Hinweis: Wenn Sie eine Ladung auf Ihrem Fahrzeug befördern, sind Sie sowohl für Ihre
Sicherheit als auch für die Sicherheit von Dritten verantwortlich. Der Hersteller lehnt jede
Verantwortung für evtl. Verletzungen oder Schäden an Gegenständen oder Personen ab, die
durch falsche Montage, durch übermäßige Geschwindigkeit oder durch falsches Fahrverhalten

Der Heck-Fahrradträger dient zum Transport von bis zu 2 Fahrrädern auf PKW
mit unterschiedlichen Heckformen (siehe die schematischen Darstellungen
A, B, C). Seine maximale Tragfähigkeit beträgt 45 kg. Der Fahrradträger darf
ausschließlich auf Automodellen benutzt werden, die vom Hersteller dafür
zugelassen sind. Die fortlaufend aktualisierte Typenliste nden Sie hier:
Ein in der Liste verzeichnetes Automodell kann mit Sondervarianten auf den Markt kommen.
Achten Sie deshalb auf Änderungen an der Hecklappe oder des Kofferraumdeckels (etwa durch
Kunststoffteile, Spoiler o. ä.). In diesem Fall ist die Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig zu studieren.
Der Heck-Fahrradträger muss entsprechend dieser Betriebsanleitung zusammengebaut werden.
Im Fahrbetrieb müssen die entsprechenden gesetzlichen Bestimmungen (erlaubte Höchstge-
schwindigkeit, höchst zulässiges Gesamtgewicht, etc.) eingehalten werden. Besonders müssen
Sie die max. zulässige Zuladung von 45 kg beachten. Bei jeder Nutzung dieses Produktes sind
die nachstehenden Informationen zu berücksichtigen: Der Fahrradträger ist ein sicheres Produkt,
solange er korrekt benutzt wird. Wird er im Gegensatz dazu nicht korrekt benutzt, kann er Ihnen
und anderen, hinter Ihnen fahrenden Straßenteilnehmern Schaden zufügen.

4. Hinweis zur Pflege und Lagerung
• In ihrer Funktion eingeschränkte Teile sind umgehend auszuwechseln. Prüfen Sie die Funkti-
onstüchtigkeit von Sperrrädern, Schnallen und Riemen.
• Regelmäßig zu kontrollieren ist, ob Muttern, Schrauben oder andere Befestigungselemente
fest angeschraubt sind.
• Den Fahrradträger nicht mit aggressiven Reinigungsmitteln säubern.
•
Vor dem Waschen des Wagens in einer automatischen Waschanlage den Fahrradträger abnehmen.
• Wenn es nicht verwendet wird, das Produkt vom Fahrzeug nehmen und an einem trockenen,
vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützten Ort aufbewahren.

5. Umwelthinweise und Entsorgungsmaßnahmen
Verpackungsmaterial entsorgen
HINWEIS:
Entsorgen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht (Papier und Karton zum
Papiermüll, Kunststoff zum Kunststoffmüll, Verpackungsmaterial aus Metall zum
Metallmüll).
Endgültige Entsorgung des Produktes
ACHTUNG:
Entsorgen Sie den Heck-Fahrradträger umweltgerecht: Metallteile (Schrauben, Mut-
tern, Rahmenteile, Prolschienen, etc.) gehören zum Metallmüll. Kunststoffteile (End-
stücke für Prolschienen, Felgenbände, etc.) gehören zum Kunststoffmüll.
Beachten Sie unbedingt die folgenden Hinweise zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung von
Verpackungsmaterial und Produkt.

Die Garantiezeit beträgt 2 Jahre und beginnt am Tag des Kaufs bzw. am Tag der Übergabe
der Ware. Für die Geltendmachung von Garantieansprüchen ist das Ausfüllen der Garantiekarte
dringend erforderlich. Bitte bewahren Sie den Kassenbon und die Garantiekarte daher auf!
Der Hersteller hat das Recht den Kassenbon als Nachweis zu verlangen.
Der Hersteller lehnt jede Verantwortung für eventuelle Verletzungen oder Schäden an
Gegenständen ab, die durch einen falschen Einbau oder Gebrauch des Produktes verursacht
werden.
Der Hersteller garantiert die kostenfreie Behebung von Mängeln, die auf Material- oder
Fabrikationsfehler zurückzuführen sind, nach Wahl des Herstellers durch Reparatur,
Nachlieferung oder Austausch. Die Garantie erstreckt sich nicht auf Schäden die durch
einen Unfall, ein unvorhergesehenes Ereignis (z.B. Blitz, Wasser, Feuer etc.), unsachgemäße
Benutzung oder Transport, Missachtung der Sicherheits- und Wartungsvorschriften oder durch
sonstige unsachgemäße Bearbeitung oder Veränderung verursacht wurden. Die gesetzliche
Gewährleistungspflicht des Verkäufers wird durch die Garantie nicht eingeschränkt. Sollten Teile
bei Kauf fehlen oder defekt sein, markieren Sie diese bitte in der folgenden Liste und senden Sie
uns diese zu. Wir werden Ihnen die fehlenden Teile an die angegebene Adresse senden.

The following safety instructions must be followed when assembling/mounting and using
this rear-mounted bicycle carrier:
• Keep this instruction manual safe for the lifetime of the product
• Hand the instruction manual over to any subsequent owner/user of the product
NOTE: Read this instruction manual carefully before beginning assembly/mounting of the rear-
mounted bicycle carrier! Special attention should be paid to the safety instructions! Do not mount
and/or use the product if you have any doubt it was assembled carefully. Do not assemble or use
the accessories if the delivery is not full and complete.
• The straps must not be used for any other purposes or with other buckles than intended. The
straps must be kept safe and used only if they are in good condition.
• Additional straps are to be used if necessary.
• The ratchet wheels and the condition of the straps must be inspected regularly and replaced if
worn.
• In the case of vehicles with automatic rear wipers, the wiper blades must be removed; otherwi-
se they will come in contact with the bicycle carrier and could sustain damage.
• The weight distribution on the axles will be altered in relation to the automobile manufacturer’s
specications due to the load mounted in the rear. This altered weight must not exceed the
load specied by the manufacturer (consult your vehicle registration). The permissible axle load
must not be exceeded with loaded bicycles.
• The empty weight of the rear-mounted bicycle carrier is 9.65 kg!
• Maximum load capacity of the bicycle carrier: 45 kg (two bicycles).

We are very pleased that you have chosen the FISCHER Rear-Mounted Bicycle Carrier.
You can use your passenger vehicle to transport up to two bicycles easily and conveni-
ently with this piece of equipment. This rear-mounted bicycle carrier is delivered as a kit
to be assembled.
This rear-mounted bicycle carrier must be assembled/mounted securely according to this
instruction manual before using it for the first time.

Driving-related safety instructions
• Do not use the rear wiper. (32)
• Driving speed: always observe the maximum speed permitted by trafc ordinances. Indepen-
dently of that, we recommend not exceeding a maximum speed of 120 km/h when transporting
bicycles with this rear-mounted bicycle carrier!
• We urgently recommend decreasing speed, particularly in curves, and increasing the safety
distance to vehicles ahead.
• Fastening of the rear-mounted transport system should be inspected regularly.
• Caution: According to § 22 of the StVZO (German trafc regulations), the driver is responsible
for the security of the load.
• Always be mindful that the valid regulations of the country of destination must be observed.
• The altered driving and braking behavior caused by the rear-mounted carrier system and the
load should be accounted for by adjusted speed.
• Cross wind: reduce the vehicle speed in the event of cross wind!
• Braking, accelerating, driving in curves: avoid sudden braking and acceleration! Avoid sudden
steering changes!
• Pay attention to the side, rear and upper dimensions of the bicycles when driving in reverse or
while maneuvering. (33)
• Do not drive off-road with the bicycle carrier. CAUTION when crossing curbs or uneven roads,
particularly speed bumps.
• Driving in reverse and backing into parking spaces: take the entire length of your vehicle into
account, including the rear-mounted bicycle carrier when backing into a parking space or dri-
ving in reverse!
• Obstruction of vision to the rear: if vision to the rear is obstructed, suitable rear-view mirrors
(e.g. right outside rear-view mirror or mirrors for attaching trailers) should be installed.
• If the bicycle carrier is used in conjunction with a trailer, ensure there is sufcient space on the
sides for maneuvering.
• Inspect the rear-mounted bicycle carrier: Check fastening cords and straps before mounting;
damaged bands and straps must be replaced immediately. Check all connectors/fasteners
(screws, straps, nuts) on the rear-mounted bicycle carrier after the initial installation as well as
the security of the load after a short drive. You should inspect these connectors and fasteners
again at regular intervals (30) (more frequently, if road conditions are bad)! Check for damage
to the product following each use.
• Driving in Italy and Spain: The rear-mounted bicycle carrier extends beyond the dimensions
specied in your vehicle registration. Install the warning plate prescribed in the respective
country!
Safety instructions for the bicycles
• Tandem bicycles must not be transported with the carrier.
• Secure bicycle parts: Check that all parts of the bicycle transported are secure and ensure no
parts (kickstands, bells, seats) can be lost during the drive! Bicycle accessories (i.e. child seats,
air pumps, baskets and luggage racks) must not be installed on the bicycle when transporting!

• Caution: when mounting the bicycles, ensure that they do not extend more than 40 cm beyond
the outer contour of the vehicle! (31)
• CAUTION when opening the luggage compartment: the rubber pads, P (2) (see page 39),
could dent the vehicle body in the vicinity of the hinges.
• Beware: the vehicle engine must be stopped, the ignition turned off and the parking brake set
when mounting the rear-mounted bicycle carrier!
• Caution: do not cover the bicycles with fabric while driving.
• Caution: The load must be distributed properly on the rear bicycle carrier. Ensure that the
heavier of the two bicycles is mounted on the inner rail when fastening them on the carrier. The
center of gravity of the load must be as low and as close to the vehicle as possible.
• Caution: It may be necessary to turn the handlebars around on some bicycles. Pay attention to
the pedal positioning.
• Caution: remove the bicycle carrier before entering an automatic car wash!

• Caution: Anyone who uses your vehicle with the bicycle racked attached must be informed of
the safety instructions. If this product is transferred to a third party, please include this instruc-
tion manual with the accompanying safety instructions! This product must not be modied!
• Note: for the safety of other road users and for energy conservation (fuel consumption), the
bicycle rack should be removed from the vehicle when not in use.
• Note: You are responsible for your own safety as well as the safety of others when transporting
a load on your vehicle. The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injuries or damage to
objects or people caused by improper assembly/mounting, excessive speed or inappropriate
driving behavior. The manufacturer is not liable for damage or injuries to objects or persons.

This rear-mounted bicycle carrier is intended for the transportation of up to
two bicycles on passenger vehicles with various rear hatch congurations (see
schematic gures A, B, C). The maximum weight capacity is 45 kg. This bicyc-
le carrier may only be used on vehicle models which have been approved by
the manufacturer. You can nd a continuously updated list of models here:
Some models listed may be available in special variations. Therefore, please watch out for alte-
rations to the hatchback or the luggage compartment lid (i. e. through addition of plastic parts,
spoiler, etc.). If this is the case, study the instruction manual especially closely.
This rear-mounted bicycle carrier must be assembled in accordance with the instruction manual.
The applicable legal regulations must be observed when driving (permissible speeds, maximum
allowable weight, etc.). The maximum permitted load of 45 kg is especially important to observe.
The following information is to be considered every time this product is used: the bicycle carrier
is a safe product, provided it is used correctly. If not used correctly, it can cause injury to yourself
and other road users following you.

4. Tips for Care and Storage
• Parts which have subsequently lost effectiveness should be replaced immediately. Check the func-
tionality of ratchet wheels, buckles and bands.
• Nuts, screws or other fasteners should be checked to ensure they are securely tightened.
• Do not clean the bicycle carrier with harsh cleaning agents.
• Remove the bicycle carrier before washing the vehicle in an automatic car wash.
• When not in use, the product should be removed from the vehicle stored in a dry location, protec-
ted from direct sunlight.

NOTE:
Dispose of packaging materials in environmentally-friendly fashion (paper and boxes
with paper garbage, plastic with plastic garbage, metal packaging material with metal
garbage).
Final disposal of the product
WARNING:
Dispose of the coupling bike carrier in environmentally-friendly fashion: metal parts
(screws, nuts, frame parts, prole rails, etc.) belong with metal garbage. Plastic parts
(end pieces for prole rails, rim strips, etc.) belong with plastic garbage.
It is required that you observe the following notices on the environmentally-friendly disposal of
packaging materials and the product.

The warranty period is 2 years and begins on the day of purchase or the day of transfer of the
goods. To make warranty claims valid, the warranty card must be filled out in every case. Please
therefore keep the receipt and the warranty card! The manufacturer has the right to demand the
receipt as proof.
The manufacturer denies all responsibility for possible injuries or damages to objects which are
caused by improper installation or use of the product. The manufacturer guarantees the cost-free
removal of defects which can be attributed to material or manufacturing errors through repair,
redelivery, or exchange at its own choice.
The warranty does not extend to damages which were caused by an accident, an unforeseen
occurrence (e.g. lightning, water, fire, etc.), improper use or transport, failure to heed safety and
maintenance provisions, or through other improper handling or change. The legal warranty obli-
gation of the vendor is not limited by the warranty. If parts should be missing or defective at the
time of purchase, please note this in the following lists and send these to us. We will send you
the missing parts at the address you indicate.

Lors du montage et de l’utilisation de ce porte-vélos arrière, veuillez impérativement res-
pecter les consignes de sécurité suivantes:
• conserver le mode d’emploi durant toute la durée de vie du produit
• transmettre toujours le mode d’emploi aux futures propriétaires et utilisateurs du produit
REMARQUE: lisez impérativement le mode d’emploi avant de commencer le montage du porte-
vélos arrière! Respectez notamment les consignes de sécurité! Ne montez et/ou n’utilisez pas ce
produit si vous avez un doute au sujet du montage correct. Ne montez ni utilisez cet accessoire
lorsque l’équipement fourni est incomplet.
• Les sangles ne doivent pas être utilisées à des ns autres ou avec des boucles d’arrimage
différentes. Vous devez conserver les sangles qui ne doivent être utilisées que dans un état
impeccable.
• Le cas échéant, utiliser des sangles supplémentaires.
• Contrôler régulièrement la fermeture des cliquets et l’état des sangles qui doivent être rempla-
cées en cas d’usure.
• Chez les véhicules avec un essuie-glace arrière automatique, il faut retirer les lames de balaya-
ge, car elles pourraient toucher le porte-vélos et être endommagées.
• En raison de la charge xée à l’arrière, la répartition du poids sur les essieux est modiée par
rapport aux indications du constructeur automobile. Ce poids modié ne doit pas être supéri-
eur à la charge supplémentaire indiquée par le constructeur (voir certicat d’immatriculation).
La charge admise par essieu ne doit pas être dépassée lors du chargement avec des porte-
vélos.
• Le poids à vide du porte-vélos arrière est de 9,65 kg !
• Capacité de charge maximale du porte-vélos : 45 kg (2 vélos).

transporter en toute simplicité et en toute sécurité deux vélos avec votre voiture. Ce por-
te-vélos arrière est livré en kit de montage.
Avant la première utilisation, vous devez assembler soigneusement le porte-vélos arrière
en vous reportant à ce mode d’emploi.

Consignes de sécurité pour la technique de conduite
• Ne pas utiliser l’essuie-glace arrière. (32)
• Vitesse de conduite : respectez toujours la vitesse maximale autorisée par le code de la route.
Lorsque vous êtes équipés de ce porte-vélos arrière, nous vous recommandons également de
ne pas dépasser une vitesse maximale de conduite de 120 km/h!
• Il est vivement recommandé de réduire la vitesse, en particulier dans les virages, et
d’augmenter la distance de sécurité.
• La xation du dispositif de transport à l’arrière doit être régulièrement vériée par le conducteur
• Attention: le conducteur est responsable de la sécurité de la charge selon le § 22 StVZO (loi
allemande sur l’admission à la circulation).
• Mais c’est toujours la législation en vigueur dans le pays d’utilisation qui doit être respectée.
• Il faut respecter le comportement de conduite et au freinage dû au dispositif de transport à
l’arrière et au chargement en adaptant la vitesse.
• Vent latéral : réduisez la vitesse du véhicule en cas de vent arrivant de côté !
• Freinage, accélération, conduite dans les virages : évitez les freinages et les accélérations
brusques! Evitez les braquages brusques!
• Pendant la conduite, lorsque vous effectuez des manœuvres de marche arrière et de station-
nement en marche arrière, tenez compte des dimensions latérales, arrière et supérieures des
vélos (33).
• Ne pas emprunter de chemins de terre avec un porte-vélos. ATTENTION en traversant des
bords de trottoir et des ralentisseurs.
• Marche arrière et stationnement en marche arrière : ne perdez pas de vue la longueur hors tout
du véhicule avec le porte-vélos arrière monté, lorsque vous effectuez des manœuvres de mar-
che arrière et de stationnement en marche arrière!
• Réduction de visibilité vers l’arrière : lors d’une réduction de visibilité vers l’arrière, des rétrovi-
seurs appropriés (p. ex. rétroviseur extérieur à droite ou rétroviseur de remorque) doivent être
installés sur le véhicule.
• Lorsque vous utilisez une remorque et un porte-vélos en même temps, il faut contrôler s’il y a
sufsamment de place pour des manœuvres sur les côtés.
• Contrôle du porte-vélos arrière : contrôlez les lanières de xation et les sangles avant le mon-
tage, les lanières et sangles endommagées doivent immédiatement être remplacées. Après le
premier montage, contrôlez toutes les xations sur le porte-vélos arrière (vis, sangles, écrous)
ainsi que la xation du chargement après un court parcours sur la route. Par la suite, vous
devriez régulièrement vérier (30) ces xations (plus souvent si les conditions des routes sont
mauvaises)!
Après chaque utilisation, vériez si le produit est intact.
• Pour des trajets en Italie et en Espagne: Le porte-vélos arrière dépasse les dimensions indi-
quées dans le certicat d’immatriculation. Installez la plaque signalétique préconisée dans le
pays respectif!
Consignes de sécurité pour les vélos
• Il est interdit de transporter des tandems sur le porte-vélos.
• Fixation des différentes parties des vélos : vérier si les parties des vélos transportés sont bien
xées et faites attention à ne pas perdre des parties du vélo pendant le trajet (béquille latéra-
le, sonnette, selle) ! Pendant le transport, les accessoires des vélos tels que sièges d’enfants,
pompes, paniers et porte-bagages ne doivent pas être montés sur les vélos! (32)
• Attention: lors du montage des vélos, veillez à ce que ces derniers ne dépassent pas les con-
tours du véhicule de plus de 40 cm! (31)
• ATTENTION lors de l’ouverture du coffre : les coussins en caoutchouc peuvent P (2) (voir la
page 39) peuvent endommager la carrosserie près des charnières.
• Attention : lorsque vous installez le porte-vélos arrière sur la voiture, le moteur doit être arrêté,
le contact coupé et le frein à main serré!
• Attention : ne recouvrez pas les vélos avec des couvertures pendant le trajet.
• Attention : le chargement doit être correctement réparti sur le porte-vélos arrière. Lors du mon-
tage des vélos, veillez à monter le vélo le plus lourd sur le rail intérieur. Le centre de gravité du
chargement doit se situer le plus bas possible et près du véhicule.

• Attention : chez certains vélos, il peut être nécessaire de tourner le guidon. Faites attention à la
position de la pédale.
• Attention : démontez le porte-vélos avant de passer dans une station de lavage avec votre
véhicule!
• Attention : toutes les personnes utilisant votre véhicule avec le porte-vélos monté doivent être
informées sur ces consignes de sécurité. Lorsque vous transmettez ce produit à des tiers,
veuillez joindre ce mode d’emploi avec les consignes de sécurité correspondantes! Le produit
ne doit pas être transformé
• Remarque: pour des raisons de sécurité envers les autres usagers de la route mais aussi
d’économie d’énergie (consommation de carburant), le porte-vélos est à démonter lorsqu’il
n’est pas utilisé
• Remarque: si vous transportez un chargement sur votre véhicule, c’est vous qui êtes respon-
sable de votre sécurité autant que de la sécurité de tiers. Le fabricant décline toute responsabi-
lité pour d’éventuelles blessures ou dégâts sur les objets ou personnes résultant d’un montage
incorrect, d’une vitesse excessive ou d’un comportement de conduite incorrect. Le fabricant
n’est pas responsable pour des dégâts sur des objets ou des personnes

Le porte-vélos arrière sert au transport de 2 vélos sur une voiture avec des
formes de hayons différentes (voir les schémas A, B, C). La capacité de charge
maximale autorisée est de 45 kg. Le porte-vélos doit être utilisé uniquement sur
les modèles de véhicules qui sont homologués à cet effet par le constructeur.
Vous trouverez la liste mise à jour des types ici:
Un modèle de véhicule inscrit sur la liste peut être commercialisé avec des versions spéciales.
Vous devez donc faire attention à d’éventuelles modications sur le hayon ou le couvercle du coff-
re (par exemple par des pièces en plastique, becquet etc.). Dans ce cas il faut lire soigneusement
le mode d’emploi.
Le porte-vélos arrière doit être monté selon ce mode d’emploi. Lors de la conduite avec le porte-
vélos monté, il faut respecter les dispositions légales (vitesse maximale autorisée, poids total
maximal autorisé etc.). En particulier, il faut respecter la charge supplémentaire autorisée de 45
kg. Lors de chaque utilisation de ce produit, il faut tenir compte des informations ci-dessous. Le
porte-vélos est un produit sûr dans la mesure où il est utilisé correctement. S’il n’est pas utilisé
correctement contrairement à ces instructions, il peut causer des dégâts, sur vous-même et les
autres usagers de la route qui vous suivent.

4. Remarques sur l’entretien et le rangement
• Les pièces limitées dans leur fonction doivent être immédiatement remplacées. Vériez si les cli-
quets, boucles et sangles fonctionnent correctement.
• Il faut contrôler régulièrement si les écrous, vis ou autres éléments de xation sont bien serrés.
• Ne pas nettoyer le porte-vélos avec des nettoyants agressifs.
• Retirer le porte-vélos avant de passer à la station de lavage automatique.
• S’il n’est pas utilisé, retirer le produit du véhicule et le stocker dans un endroit sec protégé des ray-
ons de soleil directs.

5. Consignes environnementales et élimination
Mise au rebut du matériel d‘emballage
REMARQUE :
Jetez les matériaux d’emballage en respectant l’environnement (le papier et le carton
dans les déchets de papier, le plastique dans les déchets de plastiques, les matériaux
d’emballages en métal dans les déchets de métaux).
Mise au rebut définitive du produit
ATTENTION :
Mettez au rebut le porte-vélos arrière en respectant l’environnement : les parties
métalliques (vis, écrous, éléments du cadre, rails prolés, etc.) font partie des déchets
en métal. Les pièces en plastique (embouts pour des prolés, sangles pour les roues,
etc.) font partie des déchets en matière plastique.
Respectez absolument les instructions suivantes visant au traitement des déchets, du matériel
d’emballage et du produit tout en respectant l’environnement.

La durée de la garantie est de 2 ans et commence à la date d’achat ou au jour de remise de
la marchandise. Pour l’exercice du droit de recours à la garantie, la carte de garantie doit être
dûment remplie. Veillez à bien conserver le ticket de caisse et la carte de garantie ! Le fabricant
a le droit d’exiger le ticket de caisse comme preuve d’achat.
Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité pour d’éventuels dommages corporels et matériels aux
biens qui sont causés par une mauvaise installation ou utilisation du produit.
Le fabricant s’engage à traiter gratuitement toute défaillance relative à un défaut des matériaux
ou de fabrication en se réservant le droit d’opter pour une réparation, une livraison supplémen-
taire ou un échange. La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus lors d’un accident,
un événement imprévu (p. ex. foudre, contact avec l’eau, incendie, etc.), d’une utilisation ou d’un
transport inappropriés, du non-respect des consignes de sécurité et d’entretien ou à cause d’un
tout autre traitement illicite ou de modifications. Le droit à la garantie juridique du vendeur n’est
pas limité par la garantie. Si des éléments sont défectueux lors de l’achat, nous vous prions de
les marquer dans la liste ci-dessous et de nous la renvoyer. Nous vous enverrons les éléments

Per il montaggio e l‘uso del presente portabici posteriore è indispensabile rispettare le se-
guenti indicazioni di sicurezza:
• Conservare le istruzioni per l‘uso per tutta la vita utile del prodotto.
• Consegnare le istruzioni per l‘uso ad ogni successivo detentore o utente del prodotto.
AVVISO: E‘ indispensabile leggere con cura le presenti istruzioni per l‘uso prima di iniziare il mon-
taggio del portabici posteriore! Rispettare in particolar modo le indicazioni di sicurezza! Non mon-
tare e / o usare il prodotto se avete dubbi sul montaggio da eseguire / eseguito a regola d‘arte.
Non installare l’accessorio e non usarlo se l’equipaggiamento fornito a corredo non è completo.
• Le cinghie non devono essere utilizzate per altri scopi o con altre bbie di serraggio. Le cinghie
devono essere conservate e devono essere utilizzate solo in perfette condizioni.
• Se necessario, utilizzare ulteriori cinghie.
• Controllare regolarmente il bloccaggio degli ingranaggi d’arresto e lo stato delle cinghie, che
devono essere sostituite se usurate.
• Sui veicoli con tergicristalli posteriori automatici, le spazzole dei tergicristalli devono essere
rimosse, altrimenti potrebbero venire a contatto con il portabici e venire danneggiate.
• A causa del carico applicato nella parte posteriore, la distribuzione del peso sugli assali varia
rispetto alle speciche del costruttore dell‘autovettura. Il peso modicato non deve essere
superiore al carico utile specicato dal costruttore (vedi carta di circolazione). Il carico massimo
consentito sull‘assale non deve essere superato caricando le biciclette.
• Il peso proprio del portabici posteriore è di 9,65 kg!
• Massima capacità di carico del portabici: 45 kg (2 biciclette).
