• With the flash card in place, lower the lid on the
Alpha Pad™.
•Lift the lid to see writing guidelines on
the screen.
•Practice writing the alphabet and numbers using
the magnetic pen on the screen.
• Open the lid on the Alpha Pad™.
•With the writing facing toward you, fit the flash
card into the lid.
IMPORTANT! Before first-time use, completely
darken the drawing screen with the magnetic pen.
Slide the eraser lever slowly up and down to clear
the drawing screen. Repeat this procedure several
times to enable the drawing screen to create the
clearest, darkest images.

•To erase the drawing screen, slide the eraser
lever slowly up and down.

IMPORTANT!To avoid damage to the
drawing screen:
•Use only the magnetic pen included.
•Do not use regular pencils, pens, crayons,
or markers.
•Keep this toy away from extreme heat
sources such as ovens, heaters, radiators
and hot vehicles.
Do not apply heavy
pressure or force to the
drawing screen. Heavy
pressure is not necessary
and could damage the
drawing screen. A light
touch makes a black line.
Use only the special,
magnetic pen included. Do
not use any other object
on the drawing screen.

•To draw, doodle or play games without the
writing guidelines, simply lift and remove the
flash card.
•The lid is designed to come off the pad easily.
•To re-attach the lid, position it face down and
underneath the tab on the pad. At an angle,
insert one of the pegs on the lid into the hole in
the pad.Then push the other peg on the lid into
place in the pad.
