Prior to firstuse
Prior to first use rinse the pot thoroughlyand further clean it in boiling water with adash of lemon juice.This
removesany polishing dust or small impurities and cleans the cookwareprior to first use.
Important tips foruse
•The handles can become hot depending on the use of the cookware.We recommend the use of ahand guard
especiallywhen the cookwareisused on agas stove or in an oven.
•Never heat your pot empty or with oil on high heat forlonger than 2minutes. Overheating maycause the
bottom of the pot to turn agolden colour.This discolouration does not affect its performance.Overheating
can also occur when the liquid in the pot evaporates completely.
•Extreme overheating maycause the aluminium in the bottom to melt and liquefy.Incase of overheating never
remove the pot from the burner otherwise youmight be burned by leaking hot aluminium. Switch off the
burner and allowthe pot to cool, air the room.
•Induction stove: To prevent overheating of the cookwaredue to the high capacity of induction, please follow
the stove manufacturer's instructions foruse.Never leave cookwareunattended during heating or heat it
when empty or on high heat.Abuzzing noise can arise during use.This noise is due to technical reasons and
is not an indication of adefect in your stove or cookware.Always place the cookwareinthe centreofthe
burner.The pot size should be equal to or larger than the size of the cooking surface because otherwise it is
possible that the cooking surface will not respond to the bottom of the pot.
•Toavoid the risk of burns caused by oil boiling over or spitting during deep-frying, always use ahigh-sided pot
and neverfill the pot morethan half full with oil. Do not use alid, and do not overheat.The right deep-frying
temperatureisreached when acircle of bubbles forms around the handle of awooden spoon immediately
after it is dipped into the oil.
