shoulders.Thiswill allow the bodysnaturallubrication (synovialfluid) toprotect the surfaceofthe bonesat
these joints.
•Alwayswarmup the bodybeforestretching, as thisincreases bloodflow aroundthe body, which inturn
makes the muscles moresupple.
•Start withyour legs, andworkupthe body.
•Eachstretch shouldbeheldfor at least 10 seconds (working upto20 to30 seconds) and usuallyrepeated
about 2or 3times.
•Donot stretch until it hurts. Ifthere sanypain, ease off.
•Don t bounce.Stretching shouldbe gradualandrelaxed.
•Don t holdyour breathduring astretch.
•Stretch afterexercisingtopreventmuscles tightening up.Stretchatleastthree times aweektomaintain
