ATTENTION - This camera includes an Auto Mechanical IR Cut Filter.
When the camera changes between Day/Night viewing modes, an
audible clicking noise may be heard from the camera. This clicking is
normal, and indicates that the camera filter is working.

Safety Precautions
• This camera is for indoor use only.
• Use an appropriate low voltage power cable to prevent
fire or electrical shock.
• Make sure to install the camera in an area that can
support the camera weight.
• There are no user serviceable parts inside the camera.
Please do not disassemble the camera.
• Do not clean the lens cover with an abrasive cleaning
material. Please use a soft cloth to clean the lens cover.

Installing the Camera
ATTENTION - Test the camera prior to selecting a permanent
mounting location by temporarily connecting the camera(s) and
cables to the DVR.

Camera Specifications
Setting up the Camera
1. Connect the BNC connector of the camera to the
video cable.
2. DC Power—Power Adapter: Connect a 12V DC
Power Adapter (not included) to the camera. Plug
the Power Adapter into a local power outlet.
• DC Power—Power Pigtail (not included): Connect
a Power Pigtail to the camera. Connect the
terminating wires of the cable directly to the DC
power source.
NOTE: The Power Pigtail is a non-polarity input. You can
connect the wires to either the positive or negative ports of
the DC power source.
1. Use the included Dome Cover Key or your finger
to push in the button on the camera base while
pulling the dome cover up.
2. Locate the white latch on camera base (near
LOCK and UNLOCK labels). Push the latch
outward and hold in place.

3. Twist the black back plate
counterclockwise to
detach it from the camera.
Release the latch.
4. Optional - Punch out
the disc in the centre of
the black back plate to
run cables through the
mounting surface.
5. Use the included screws to attach the black
back plate to the mounting surface. Make sure
the CAMERA FRONT label points away from
the mounting surface.
6. Place the camera base over the black back plate
and turn counterclockwise to lock in place.

FOCUS
7. Use a flat-head screwdriver to slightly loosen the
ZOOM and FOCUS knobs. Move knobs left and
right to adjust zoom and focus. Tighten knobs
when finished.
8. Adjust the position of the camera by rotating the
black camera module (rotates 360° before it is
stopped).
9. Use a philips screwdriver to loosen the screws on
either side of the camera module. Tilt the top of the
module to adjust the viewing angle. Tighten screws
when finished.
10. Replace the dome cover so the arrow on the dome
cover points toward the button on the camera
base.

installed. If IR LED’s are
blocked, nighttime image
may appear cloudy.
