With your purchase you have decided in favour of a quality product. Familiarise
yourself with the product before installation and before taking it into use for the
first time. In this regard, please read the following assembly instructions attentively.
Use this appliance only as described and only for the specified areas of applica-
tion. Retain these instructions for future reference. In addition, pass these documents
on, together with the product, to any future owner.
Intended use
This rainwater collector is intended for installation in a vertical downpipe. There it
collects rainwater flowing from the roof water and directs it to a rainwater barrel.
It can be used for roof areas of up to about 80 m² in size. This rainwater collector
can be installed on standard rainwater downpipes made of metal or plastic with
diameters from 70 - 110 mm. The rainwater collector is intended solely for domestic
use. This appliance is not intended for any other use or for uses beyond those
detailed. Claims of any kind for damage resulting from unintended use will
not be accepted. The user alone bears liability.

Downpipe and rainwater barrel
IMPORTANT
► The borehole in the downpipe is also the maximum filling height of the
rainwater barrel.
► Be aware of unevenness in the terrain, so as to prevent subsequent over-
flows from the rainwater barrel. It is best to place the rainwater barrel at its
final intended location and to then transfer the marking for the max. filling
level onto the downpipe with a spirit level.
1. Using a spirit level and a pencil, mark the hole positions onto the rainwater
barrel and downpipe (see Figure D).
WARNING - RISK OF INJURY
► When drilling, be sure to wear personal protective equipment (goggles
and gloves).
► Exercise caution when handling the crown drill.
► Exercise caution when deburring with the carpet knife. The blade is very sharp!
2. Drill the hole in the down pipe with the crown drill (see Figure E). Take
care to drill with light pressure only, especially in sheet metal downpipes.
Then deburr the drillhole with a suitable tool, such as a carpet knife for
plastic downpipes or a file with sheetmetal downpipes.
3. Now drill the hole in the rainwater barrel with the crown drill and then
deburr the drillhole (see Figure F).

NOTICE
► With a downpipe size of 70 mm you will need to cut off the rubber tabs at
the indentations with scissors (see Figure G).
1. Select the flange ( or ) appropriate to the size of your downpipe.
Take note of the size details indicated on the inside of the flanges.
2. Glue one of the flange gaskets into the recess provided on the inside of
the flange. To do this, remove the adhesive backing from the flange gasket
(see Figure H).
3. Guide the clamping device through the flange. When inserting it, ensure
that the guides in the flange grip the rails on the clamping device. Press the
two parts firmly together, so that the clamping device engages (see Figure. I).
4. Turn the nut of the clamping device open such that there is sufficient space
between the snap hook and flange. If need be, push the O-ring back (see
Figure I).
5. Insert the clamping device into the hole in the downpipe. Thereby, press the
clamping device upwards slightly and then press it firmly into the downpipe
(see Figure I).
6. Turn the clamp nut clockwise until it is hand tight (see Figure I).
7. Moisten the outer sides and the neck of the rubber tabs with detergent
(see Figure J).
8. Press the rubber tabs together and slide them through the opening of the
clamping device into the downpipe. Ensure that the tongued and grooved
connection between the clamping device and rainwater collector interlocks
correctly (see Figure J).
Connection to the rainwater barrel
1. Insert from outside the supplied rubber seal DN 19/32 in the hole of the
rainwater barrel.
2. Moisten the end of the connecting hose with detergent.
3. Firmly press the connection hose through the rubber seal DN 19/32.
4. Connect the rainwater collector and the rainwater barrel with the connec-
tion hose (see Figure K).

Summer and winter operation
To make the rainwater barrel frost-secure in winter, the feed should be shut off to
rainwater barrel.
1. To do this, place the control valve at a right angle to the flow direction
(see Figure L).
2. To switch back to summer mode, turn the control valve in the flow direction
(see Figure M).
Cleaning
■ Clean the outer surfaces of the rain water diverter with a damp cloth.
■ Remove the control valve and the filter insert from the rainwater collector
(see Figure N).
■ Remove any accumulated leaves from the filter and rinse the control valve
with a water hose (see Figure N).
■ Replace the filter insert back into the control valve and then into the rainwater
collector.
Disposal
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-
munity waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case
of doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.

Uvod
Iskrene čestitke!
S svojim nakupom ste se odločili za kakovosten izdelek. Pred montažo in pred prvo
uporabo izdelka pa se najprej seznanite z njim. V ta namen natančno preberite
spodnja navodila za montažo. Izdelek uporabljajte samo na opisani način in le
za navedena področja uporabe. Ta navodila dobro shranite. Ob predaji naprave
tretji osebi zraven priložite tudi vso dokumentacijo.
Predvidena uporaba
Zbiralnik deževnice je predviden za vgradnjo v navpično padno cev. V njem se
zbira deževnica s strehe in se odvaja v sod za deževnico. Uporablja se lahko pri
strešnih površinah do pribl. 80 m². Zbiralnik deževnice ustreza nazivnim širinam
trgovsko običajnih padnih cevi za deževnico iz kovine ali plastike s 70‒110 mm.
Zbiralnik deževnice je predviden izključno za zasebno uporabo. Kakršna koli
druga ali drugačna uporaba od navedene je nepredvidena. Uveljavljanje kakr-
šnih koli zahtevkov na podlagi škode zaradi nepredvidene uporabe je izključe-
no. Tveganje nosi izključno uporabnik.

Montaža
Padna cev in sod za deževnico
POZOR
► Vrtina padne cevi istočasno označuje tudi maksimalno raven polnjenja
soda za deževnico.
► Upoštevajte neravna področja podlage, da preprečite poznejše stekanje
deževnice čez rob soda. Najbolje bo, da sod za deževnico postavite na
njegovo dokončno mesto, potem pa maksimalno raven napolnjenosti z
vodno tehtnico prenesete na padno cev.
1. Z vodno tehtnico in svinčnikom označite vrtine na sodu za deževnico in na
padni cevi (glejte sliko D).
OPOZORILO – NEVARNOST POŠKODB
► Pri vrtanju obvezno nosite osebno zaščitno opremo (zaščitna očala in
zaščitne rokavice).
► Bodite previdni pri ravnanju s kronskim svedrom.
► Bodite previdni pri odstranjevanju preostalih robov z nožem. Rezilo je zelo
ostro!
2. S kronskim svedrom izvrtajte luknjo na padni cevi (glejte sliko E). Pazite
na to, da pri vrtanju le malo pritiskate, še posebej pri pločevinastih padnih
ceveh. Na koncu zgladite rob vrtine s primernim orodjem, kot npr. z nožem
(olfa) pri plastičnih ceveh ali s pilo pri pločevinastih padnih ceveh.
3. Sedaj s kronskim svedrom izvrtajte luknjo v sod za deževnico in mesto vrtanja
ravno tako zgladite (glejte sliko F).

Zbiralnik deževnice
NAPOTEK
► Pri velikosti padne cevi 70 mm morate gumijasti nastavek s škarjami odrezati
ob vdolbinah (glejte sliko G).
1. Izberite prirobnico ( ali ) v skladu z velikostjo vaše padne cevi. Upošte-
vajte navedbe velikosti na notranjih straneh prirobnic.
2. Prilepite enega od ploščatih tesnil v obstoječo odprtino na notranji strani
prirobnice. V ta namen odstranite lepilno folijo s ploščatega tesnila (glejte
sliko H).
3. Vstavite vpenjalno pripravo skozi prirobnico. Pri vstavljanju pazite na
to, da vodila v prirobnici segajo v tirnice na vpenjalni pripravi. Oba dela
močno stisnite skupaj, tako da se vpenjalna priprava zaskoči (glejte sliko I).
4. Matico vpenjalne priprave odvijte tako daleč, da je med zaskočnimi kavlji in
prirobnico dovolj prostora. Po potrebi okroglo tesnilo potisnite nazaj (glejte
sliko I).
5. Vstavite vpenjalno pripravo v luknjo na padni cevi. Pri tem vpenjalno pripravo
malce potisnite navzgor in jo potem trdno potisnite v padno cev (glejte sliko I).
6. Vpenjalno matico ročno zategnite v smeri urnega kazalca (glejte sliko I).
7. Navlažite zunanje strani in vrat gumijastega nastavka s sredstvom za pomi-
vanje (glejte sliko J).
8. Gumijasti nastavek stisnite skupaj in ga potisnite skozi odprtino vpenjalne
priprave v padno cev. Pazite na to, da je povezava utora in peresa med
vpenjalno pripravo in zbiralnikom deževnice res trdna in pravilna (glejte
sliko J).
Priključek na sod za deževnico
1. Od zunaj vstavite priloženo gumijasto tesnilo DN 19/32 v luknjo soda
za deževnico.
2. Navlažite konec priključne gibke cevi s sredstvom za pomivanje.
3. Priključno gibko cev krepko potisnite skozi gumijasto tesnilo DN 19/32.
4. Povežite zbiralnik deževnice in sod za deževnico s priključno gibko cevjo
(glejte sliko K).

Uporaba poleti in pozimi
Za zagotavljanje odpornosti soda z deževnico pred mrazom je treba pozimi
zapreti dotok do soda za deževnico.
1. V ta namen regulacijski ventil prestavite pravokotno na smer pretoka
(glejte sliko L).
2. Za preklop na poletno uporabo regulacijski ventil prestavite v smer pretoka
(glejte sliko M).
Čiščenje
■ Zunanjost zbiralnika deževnice očistite z rahlo vlažno krpo.
■ Regulacijski ventil in filtrirni vstavek vzemite iz zbiralnika deževnice (glejte
sliko N).
■ Odstranite nakopičeno listje iz filtra in regulacijski ventil izperite z gibko
vodno cevjo (glejte sliko N).
■ Filtrirni vstavek ponovno vstavite v regulacijski ventil, potem pa še v zbiralnik
deževnice.
Odstranitev
Napravo oddajte pri podjetju, registriranem za predelavo odpadkov, ali pri krajev-
nem komunalnem podjetju za predelavo odpadkov. Upoštevajte trenutno veljavne
predpise. V primeru dvoma se obrnite na krajevno podjetje za predelavo odpadkov.
