Programming the radiator in
automatic mode:
Set the right hour and minutes.
Turn the dial clockwise until the
white arrow points to the desired
time. The hands on the centre dial
will show the same time. Check
that the switch is positioned on
(pic. 5 A).
Move the red reference segments
(riders) towards the outside of the
dial to the periods you wish the
radiator to come on.
On the day timer, four segments
correspond to one hour, which
means that the start/stop times can
be programmed at a minimum
interval of 15 minutes.
On the week timer, twelve seg-
ments correspond to one day,
which means that the start/stop
times can be programmed at a
minimum interval of 2 hours.
The day timer stops when the
power is switched off but the week
timer has a backup charge.
1.3.6 Important points to remem-
ber
• Never cover the grilles with any-
thing such as newspapers or cloths.
• If there are curtains along the wall
where the radiator is fitted, comply
with the following:
- moving curtain: before switching
on the radiator pull the curtain about
30 cm away from it;
- fixed curtain: the lower edge must
be at least 30 cm from the radiator.
• Do not place containers of water
on the radiator. This is because any
spillage would damage the applian-
ce and cause the risk of electrocu-
tion!
• Never touch the hot air grilles
when the radiator is on. This is to
avoid getting burnt.
• If the room is used by unsupervi-
sed children or anyone who is disa-
bled, it is advisable to install additio-
nal protection, such as an ornamen-
tal grille, to prevent contact with the
hot air outlets.
• When the radiator is not going to
be used for a long time, switch it off,
turn off the gas cock and disconnect
from the mains if active.
1.4 Maintenance
1.4.1 Ordinary maintenance
To be done with the radiator off
and cold, the plug disconnected
and the gas clock closed.
Ordinary maintenance includes
cleaning the cover and the grilles
using specific furniture products or
a cloth soaked in alcohol. Never use
water or abrasive products which
would damage the paintwork. With
water there would also be the
risk of electrocution!
The user only has access to
parts not requiring any tools to
operate.
This means that you must never
attempt to remove the casing or do
anything inside. The radiator is only
authorised for use with the casing
mounted and fixed in position.
1.4.2 Routine maintenance
Once a year, before the winter sea-
son, have the radiator checked and
cleaned inside by an authorised
technician.
The Manufacturer declines all lia-
bility for damage or injury caused
by modification or incorrect
maintenance.
