Do not pile machines on top of one another.
VENTILATION
Never block or cover the ventilation slits on the machine.
Do not expose it to direct sunlight or place it near sources of heat.
PERIODS OF INACTIVITY
When the machine is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains.
If you are using an adapter, take into account that it will continue using electricity even if the machine is
switched off. If it is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains.
T E ENVIRONMENT
To save energy, switch the machine off when you are not going to use it for a long time. The machine could
contain substances that are harmful to the environment or human health. To minimize the effect of these
substances the machine must be correctly managed and recycled when you decide to dispose of it.
When you dispose of it remember: it cannot be thrown into a conventional rubbish bin.
If it contains or uses batteries, these must be disposed of separately.
The machine (without batteries) must be disposed of correctly. Put it in a container specially intended for the
collection of electronic and electrical appliances, at the dump or hand it over to the dealer when you purchase
similar equipment, so that the dealer can dispose of it correctly (at no added cost).

indicates that visible or invisible laser radiation could be produced. Avoid direct expose to
the laser.
The symbol formed by a ray of lightening inside a triangle shows that the machine has
connection terminals or a circuit with areas with a current which could cause an electric
shock, even in normal working conditions.
The symbol formed by an exclamation mark in a triangle shows that the instruction manual
must be referred to for information on how the machine works and its use.
The symbol formed by one square inside another square shows that the machine has
double electrical insulation.
The European Community symbol shows that the machine complies with the current
European Union legislation, as well as its transposition to local legislation.
The symbol of a rubbish bin crossed out and over a horizontal line shows that when the
product is disposed of it must be done properly, placing it in a special selective electronic
and electrical equipment container or through a dealer when purchasing a similar product,
at no additional cost. It also shows that the machine was put on the market after 13th
August 2005 (European Community Directive 2012/19/EU of Electrical and Electronic
recycling, and its Spanish equivalent R.D.219/2013).

DESCRIPTION
- 3-way stereo active crossover frequency divider with subwoofer.
- Audio signal control with individual adjustment of the gains level of the filter in each way (bass, mid, treble
and subwoofer), as well as the frequency cutoff of the subwoofer filter and the mid-bass and mid treble
filters.
- Independent subwoofer output.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.- PO ER: on/off switch.
Note: always switch the unit on before the amplifier and switch it off afterwards, to avoid damaging the
loudspeakers.
2.- CHANNEL 1: channel 1 controls.
3.- SUB OOFER: subwoofer output channel controls.
4.- CHANNEL 2: channel 2 controls.
5.- LO -MID XOVER FREQ: simultaneously adjusts the cutoff frequency for the bass low pass filter and
the lower cutoff frequency for the mid band-pass filter. The cutoff frequencies can be selected from
between 70 z and 1 k z. The filter slope is 24 dB/octave.
6.- MID-HIGH XOVER FREQ: simultaneously adjusts the higher cutoff frequency for the mid band-pass
filter and the frequency cutoff for the treble high-pass filter. The cutoff frequencies can be selected from
between 480 z and 7 k z. The filter slope is 24 dB/octave.
7.- LO CUT 30 Hz: bass cut off with high pass filter with 30 z cut off frequency with a slope of 12
dB/octave, it is used to minimize problems caused by subsonic signals, to avoid noise and buzzing and
to prevent bass echoes in the loudspeakers.
8.- LO GAIN: bass filter gain control (bass output level).
9.- PHASE: this switch inverts the mid audio signal phase 180°. Normally it is not necessary. owever, in

CONNECTION
Switch off all the equipment and disconnect it from the mains before making any connections.
Connect the audio source to the frequency divider input (using the XLR input or the 6.3 mm stereo jack input),
normally it will be the signal from a mixer.
Adjust the filter parameters in accordance with the audio system characteristics.
In the following example you can see a 3-way stereo system plus subwoofer, although it is also possible to
just use the subwoofer output or set a 2-way system using only the bass and treble outputs and equalling
the bass-mid and mid-treble cut off frequency.
In a 3-way stereo system with subwoofer we will connect each frequency divider output to the corresponding
power amplifier and its respective loudspeakers. The subwoofer output will be connected to the sub-bass
amp (mono) that powers the subwoofer, the bass output to the bass amp (stereo), the mid output to the mid
amp (stereo) and the treble output to the treble amp (stereo). Each amp will power its corresponding
loudspeakers.
