NOTE: Assembly is best done by two people. To assemble your product, you need a Hammer, a Ratch, a Drill, and an impact
drill.
PROCESS TO INSTALL THE HARDWARE PROVIDED.
Required Tools (Are not included in your hardware packing).
To install the bolts.
Insert the carriage bolts into the holes and lightly tap with a hammer until the square neck fit in the wood piece and
the bolt head must flush with the wood piece. Finally, place the washer and the nut and carefully tighten it using a
ratch with the necessary socket or a wrench.

To install the lag bolts.
Place the washers in their lag bolts. After that, insert the lag bolts into the holes and carefully tighten it using a ratch
with the necessary socket.
Use the washers only for the Wood Pieces.
To install the deck screws.
Insert the deck screws into the holes and carefully tighten it using a drill.

NOTE: In order to know where the post needs to be placed, check the numbers on them. If the post is not marked, then place
the single Supports on the ground to locate the markings for each post position and clearly set your bearings. (“Don´t attach yet,
only place them on the ground to begin with”).
Note: Before install the anchor bases make sure that the ground is level using a carpenter's level or hydro-level (water level).
Step 1: Install the anchor bases (16)with ½” x 3 ½” anchor bolts (AB1). Please see the “How to anchor your pergola document”
for all details. Set your post (1) in the saddle of the anchor bases. Drill a ø ¼” hole in the post prior to anchoring to facilitate the
ratcheting of the hardware. After that, use 5/16” x 3” lag bolts (LB1) to attach each post to its respective anchor base.
Step 2: Use 3/8” x 6 ¾” bolts (BL1) to attach the simple support -A (2) to the posts (1). Check the marked numbers on each
single support and place as drawings shown.
Note: Don’t completely tighten yet the bolts –you will need the install the supports with in between blocking first.

Step 3: Use 3/8” x 6 ¾” bolts (BL1) to attach the simple supports with in-between blocking-A (3) to the single support-A (2).
Check the marked on each support with in-between blocking and place as drawings shown.
Note: return to the bolts described in the step 2 and tighten fully to attach in-between blocking to the post.
Note: put silicone in the support with in-between blocking joins.
Step 4: Use 3/8” x 6 ¾” bolts (BL1) to attach the main knee brace (5) to the supports. After that use 3/8” x 9” bolts (BL2) to
attach the main knee brace (5) to the posts (1). Check the marked numbers on each main knee brace and place as drawings
shown.

Step 5: Use 5/16” x 5 ½” bolts (BL3) to attach the simple support-B (4) to the posts (1). Check the marked numbers on each
simple support-B support and place as drawings shown.
Step 6: Use 5/16” x 5 ½” bolts (BL3) with washers & nuts to attach the secondary knee brace (6) to the secondary supports (4)
and use 3/8” x 9”bolts (BL2) to the posts (1). Check the marked numbers on each secondary knee brace and place as drawings
shown.

Step 7: Attach the rafter (7) to the supports with 3” deck screws (DS1). Check the marked numbers on each secondary knee brace
and place as drawings shown.
Step 8: Put the Quick Links (QL)and the Springs (SP)in the hanger’s support. After that, put the chains (CH). Take a few
minutes to adjust the chain height to your preference.

Step 9: Attach the trims (9) to the rafter (4) and to the supports with 4” deck screw (DS2). Check the marked numbers on each
rafter top and place as drawings shown.
Step 10:Use 3” deck screws (DS1) to attach the lattice panel (8) to the supports. Check the marked numbers on each lattice panel
and place as drawings shown.

Step 11: Use 5/16” x 3 ½” bolts (BL4) to attach arms (14)to the seat (15). Check the marked numbers on each arms and place
as drawings shown.
Step 12: Attach the backrest (13) to the arms with 5/16” x 3 ½” bolts (BL4) with washer and nuts, and 3/8´´ x 4´´ eyebolts (EB1).
Each part has a series of numbers that indicate where to attach the part with the corresponding number.

Step 13: Use quick links (QL) to join the chair swing to the chains (CH).
Step 14: Put the polycarbonate (10) from the bottom to the top, the overlapping between these it will be of 2´´. After that,
attach to the polycarbonate (10), use 2´´ deck screws (DS3) with neoprene washers. Check the marked numbers on each
polycarbonate and place as drawings shown.

Step 15: Put exterior clear silicone on the polycarbonate joins.
Step 16: Attach the rafter top (11) to the polycarbonate (10) & rafters (7), use 3´´ deck screws (DS1). Check the marked
numbers on each rafter top and place as drawings shown.

Step 17: Attach the slat (12) to the rafter top (11), use 3´´ deck screws (DS1). Check the marked numbers on each slat and
place as drawings shown.
Step 18: Finally, use 3” deck screws (DS1) to attach the boot (17) to the posts (1).
