INTRODUCTION
SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS
End users are required to read this manual and follow the instructions closely.
Keep this document in a safe place for easy access at all times.
Installation must be carried out by qualied personnel. A dedicated, state-of-the-art electricity supply
system must be designed and installed, and the system must be certied in compliance with local
regulations and the energy supply contract.
Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. cannot be held liable for damage caused to persons and/or property, or to
the equipment, if the conditions described below have not been complied with.
The warranty requirements are described in the Terms and Conditions of Sale section included with the
purchase order for this product.

Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. declares that the equipment complies with the legal provisions currently in
force in the country of installation and has issued the relevant declaration of conformity. Free2Move
eSolutions S.p.A. assumes no responsibility for failure to comply with the instructions for proper
installation, and cannot be held responsible for systems upstream or downstream of the equipment supplied.
Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. cannot be held responsible for defects or malfunctions deriving from:
improper use of the equipment, deterioration due to transport or particular environmental conditions,
incorrect or insucient maintenance, tampering or unsafe repairs, and use or installation by unqualied
persons.
Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. is not responsible for any disposal of the equipment, or parts thereof, that
does not comply with the regulations and laws in force in the country of installation.
PURPOSE AND STRUCTURE OF THE DOCUMENT
This use and maintenance manual is a guide to help you work safely, and carry out the operations needed
to keep your equipment in good working order. If the equipment is used in a manner not specied in this
manual, the protection provided by the equipment may be impaired.
This document was originally written in English. In the event of any inconsistencies or doubts, please ask
Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. for the original document.

WARNINGS
Before installing or using the device, make sure that none of the components have
been damaged. Damaged components can lead to electrocution, short circuits, and re due
to overheating. A device with damage or defects must not be used.
Install eProfessional away from petrol cans or combustible substances in general.
Before carrying out any maintenance, ensure the power supply is switched o.
Before installing eProfessional, ensure the main power source has been disconnected.
Before putting back or moving eProfessional, ensure the device is not connected to the
power supply.
eProfessional must only be used for the specic applications it is designed for.
Installation, maintenance or repairs not carried out correctly may pose risks to the user.
Please ensure that eProfessional is only used in correct operating conditions.
The device must be connected to an electricity network in compliance with local and
international standards, and all the technical requisites indicated in this manual.
Children or other persons not able to gauge risks related to the installation or use of the
device could suer serious injury, or put their lives at risk. Such persons must not
operate the device and must be supervised when close to it.
Pets or other animals must be kept away from the device and packaging material.
Children must not play with the device, accessories or packaging provided with the product.
eProfessional does not contain components that the user can repair or maintain
autonomously.
The only part that can be removed from eProfessional (solely during the installation and
dismantling stages and following the instructions) is the removable cover. eProfessional
should not be opened further unless by qualied personnel during installation, dismantling
or maintenance.
eProfessional can only be used with an energy source.
eProfessional must be treated and disposed of in compliance with current legislation,
separately from normal household waste, as electric and electronic waste (WEEE).

GENERAL INFORMATION
eProfessional is an Alternate Current charging solution for powering electric vehicles and
hybrid plug-ins, and is ideal for semi-public and industrial use. The device is available in
three-phase conguration, charging electric vehicles up to 22 kW and is equipped with a Type 2
socket.
The product includes connectivity options that allow it to be monitored remotely via Web-based
portal. The device can be managed via a dedicated App.
This document describes how to use and maintain the product. A description of the features of
the equipment is provided to indicate its key components and set out the technical terms used
in this manual. This chapter contains information on models, details of equipment, specications
and technical data, overall dimensions and identication of the equipment.

The equipment may not be used for any purpose other than the one it is intended to full.
The equipment must not be used by inexperienced personnel or even by expert professionals
if the equipment undergoes operations that do not comply with this manual and accompanying
documentation.
This piece of equipment is a charging device for electric vehicles; the following classication
(according to IEC 61851-1) identies its characteristics:
Power supply: connected to the AC power supply grid through three phase plug, according
to EN 60309-1 and EN 60309-2
Output: alternate current
Environmental conditions: indoor/outdoor use
A device for free access places
Fixed wall installation
Protection against electric shock: Class I
Charging type: Mode 2 in accordance with the IEC 61851-1 standard
Optional function for ventilation not supported.

eSolutions Charging is a smartphone app, available via Google Play® and App Store®. It can be
used to congure, monitor and set eProfessional via a Bluetooth connection.
When running the app for the rst time, users are asked to provide personal details to register
and create a Free2Move eSolutions account. Personal data and prole settings can be changed
in-app.

Pairing between eProfessional and app
The app authenticates and pairs via a QR Code, linking eProfessional to the owner’s user account.
This pairing enables all remote features, such as data collection, display and analysis, as well as
seamless customer support.
It is possible to pair more than one eProfessional. The “Device List” menu allows users to
manage all their wallboxes from a single page.
It is possible to congure a Wi-Fi connection for eProfessional via the App.
QR Code information is given on the label on the back of the charger case, or on the label on
the back of the external cover.

Charging sessions
EV drivers have full control of their charging sessions wherever they are. Users can access core
charging session control features, such as:
Start the charging sessions via app
Stop, delay and schedule charging sessions
Monitor the status and progress of each charging session in real-time
Receive notications when charging sessions start and end.
Over-the-air software update.

The device does not have start/stop buttons. Once installed, it is ready to be congured via App.
This allows the appropriate operating mode to be selected, depending on whether connection
to the charge point management platform is via app or in StandAlone mode, when the
following conditions are fullled:
correct installation, certied by qualied personnel
regular status of the device.
If the device is damaged, follow the instructions below precisely to hazardous situations,
potentially resulting in damage to persons or things:
avoid using the damaged device
clearly label the damaged device so other people do not use it
call a qualied professional promptly so the device can be repaired or, if irreparably
damaged, taken out of service.

Operating mode
Dierent operating modes are available on eProfessional. Each one can be selected using the
app, as described in the following section:
1. Autostart connected (default Factory setting): Connected to Free2Move control platform for
charging without authentication
2. Autostart not connected: Not connected to Free2Move control platform and charging
without authentication
3. Authentication connected: Connected to Free2Move control platform, charging using
the App to authenticate
4. Authentication not connected: Not connected to Free2Move control platform, charging using
the App to authenticate

Once the installation on the wall has been completed, to connect the eProfessional to the
electric network, simply insert the plug into a suitable electrical socket. If not present, proceed
with the installation of the socket in proximity of eProfessional. For the installation, please refer
to the plug specic instructions.
The equipment must be powered by connecting the three-phase plug with a compliant
three-phase socket according to EN 60309-1 and EN 60309-2 standards.
The charger’s electrical data, which should be referred to in order to determine the correct size
of the power supply system, are shown on the charger’s identication label (see chapter 2.1.).
A socket (female connector) installed close to eProfessional is required, having the following
requirements:
Both wall-mounting and switchboard-mounting versions of the socket are acceptable.

Removing the charging connector from the vehicle during the charging process can cause
serious damage to property or people.
Before starting a new charging session:
Ensure the product and its connectors are perfectly intact, dry and free of any impurities.
Do not insert ngers or objects into the socket.
Make sure the product is not, and has not been, exposed to heat sources, explosive or
inammable substances.
Ensure the electric vehicle is compatible with the product’s technical features.
Do not use adapters or extensions not specied by Free2Move eSolutions S.p.A. as they may
damage the product and create safety hazards for the user. eProfessional must only be used
according to the operating parameters specied and at an ambient temperature between
-25 ºC and 50 ºC.
Vehicle adapters must not be used to attach a connector to a vehicle socket.
Adapters between vehicle socket and plug should only be used if specically designated and
approved by the vehicle manufacturer or the manufacturer of the electric vehicle’s power
supply equipment, in accordance with national requirements. Such adapters must, however,
comply with the requirements of the IEC 61851-1 standard and other relevant standards
governing both the plug and socket of the adapter. The adapters must in any case be marked
with specic indications for use permitted by the manufacturer (e.g. IEC 62196).
Keep the charging cable out of the reach of children.
Be careful not to step on the connector or cable.

If eProfessional is congured with Autostart Operating Mode as the default setting, the following
operations must be performed:
1. eProfessional is ready for charging when the LED is BLUE.
2. Insert the plug of the charging cable into the available socket on the device, until it is
fully engaged.
3. Insert the plug of the Type 2 cable in the Charge Port of the electric vehicle.
4. The device will lock the cable for the duration of the entire charging session.
5. The charging session starts, and the LED ashes GREEN.
6. When charging is complete or you need to stop the charging process, unlock the electric
vehicle.
7. The charging cable can then be removed from the device and from the electric vehicle.
8. The product returns to its initial state, ready for a new charging session.

Charging can be accessed via app if the Authentication Operating Mode is selected.
1. Proceed as per the instructions provided in the previous point, until the cable is inserted
(step 3).
2. Start remotely via app.
3. Charge the vehicle.
4. When charging is complete or the charging process needs to be stopped, the user can
stop the charging process via app to allow the socket to be unlocked and end the charging
session.
5. The charging cable can then be removed from the device and from the electric vehicle.
6. The product returns to its initial state, ready for a new charging session.

LED behaviour
Once the device is powered up, the LED ashes in a sequence of colours. Then the status of the
device can be easily monitored through the colours and behaviour of the frontal LED.

Before carrying out any maintenance work, turn the power supply of the device o, and
disconnect it from the electric vehicle. Only qualied personnel can open the eProfessional and
carry out operations on the components.
The user does not need to maintain any parts of the eProfessional.
Cleaning the outside of the device is always recommended when necessary, and should be
carried out avoiding strong jets of air or water, and avoiding use of soaps or detergents that are
too harsh and corrosive for the materials the product is made of.
Use a soft damp cloth with a mild detergent to clean it. When nished, wipe o any traces of
moisture or liquid with a soft dry cloth.
The owner is responsible for maintenance and condition of the product. Maintenance must
always be carried out in accordance with current regulations while ensuring that people,
property and animals are protected during all maintenance operations.
This device is certied in compliance with European Directive 2012/19/UE for used electric and
electronic equipment (Waste Electric and Electronic Equipment - WEEE). The guidelines set out
the framework regulations for returning and recycling used appliances in the EU.
Dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. The materials used for packaging
this product can be recycled and must be disposed of in compliance with the legislation in force
in the country of use.
Further information about current disposal facilities can be obtained from local authorities.
