NEW Low Battery Feature
NEW Manual Lock

•The new Manual Lock replaces the pull ring lock that
was previously located on the back of the ankle.
•The Manual Lock can be activated by double pressing
the Change Footwear Button located on the keypad or
by activating within the Kinnex App.
•The Change Footwear Button white indicator light will
turn on while the ankle is locked.
•To disengage the Manual Lock, press the Change
Footwear Button twice quickly again or turn o in the
App. Once disengaged, the Change Footwear Button light
will turn o and the ankle will return to normal function.
•Locks in any position throughout the available ROM.
•CANNOT be activated when battery is dead.
Low Battery Mode notications
•When the battery charge level is at or below 20%,
the ankle will periodically vibrate.
•While walking, the vibration feels like a grinding
sensation as the user takes a step.
•While not walking, the vibration feels like a subtle
buzzing.
•These notications can be dismissed by quickly pressing
and releasing the Battery Button on the front of the
ankle, or by using the mobile app.
20% charge indicator: When the battery charge level
falls to 20%, the ankle will notify every 15 seconds until
dismissed. No indicator lights will ash.
10% charge indicator: When the battery charge level
falls to 10%, the indicator light at the front of the ankle
will ash red, and the ankle will notify every 5 seconds
until dismissed.
2% charge indicator: When the battery charge level
falls to 2%, the indicator light at the front of the ankle
will ash red, and the ankle will notify every 2 seconds.
Notications cannot be dismissed when the battery
charge level is 2% or lower.
0% charge indicator: When the battery charge level falls
to 0%, the ankle will power o and go into a low stiness
mode. (Reminder: the Manual Lock cannot be activated
when the battery is dead)

•With the new Alignment Setup Feature, you can now
lock the ankle in neutral position of 90° with 10 mm heel
height for establishing alignment and performing sensor
calibration.
•To access this feature, tap “Full Setup” in the GaitLab
App to get started. Rotate the ankle to the neutral
position until it locks into place.
•Note: The Alignment Lock setup is dierent from the
Manual Lock accessible in the Kinnex App. This lock
will only lock the ankle in a 90° angle.
