SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
1. Dieses Zeichen bedeutet:
Das Gerät darf niemals in der
Badewanne, Dusche, über mit
Wasser gefüllten Waschbecken oder mit
nassen Händen benutzt werden.
Das Gerät darf auch nicht in der Nähe von
Wasser benutzt werden, welches in Ba-
dewannen, Waschbecken oder anderen
Gefäßen enthalten ist, und nie in Wasser
getaucht werden.
2. Wenn das Gerät in einem Badezimmer ver-
wendet wird, ist nach Gebrauch immer der
Stecker zu ziehen, da die Nähe von Wasser
eine Gefahr darstellt, auch wenn das Gerät
ausgeschaltet ist.
Als zusätzlicher Schutz wird die Installa-
tion einer Fehlerstrom-Schutzeinrichtung
(RCD) mit einem Bemessungsauslöse-
strom von nicht mehr als 30 mA im Bade-
zimmer-Stromkreis empfohlen. Lassen Sie
sich von Ihrem Elektroinstallateur beraten.
3. Das Gerät ist kein Spielzeug! Kinder dürfen
nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung
und Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder

ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt wer-
den.
4. Dieses Gerät ist für die Benutzung von
Jugendlichen über 14 Jahren und von
Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkei-
ten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder
Wissen geeignet, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs
des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstan-
den haben.
5. Das Gerät wird bei Benutzung heiß. Ver-
meiden Sie Hautkontakt wenn das Gerät
eingeschaltet ist oder wenn die Heizplatten
noch heiß sind. Es besteht Verbrennungs-
gefahr.
6. Um Schäden durch unsachgemäßen
Gebrauch zu vermeiden, ist die Bedie-
nungsanleitung zu beachten und sorgfältig
aufzubewahren. Eine Kopie der Bedie-

7. Das Gerät ist nur zum Frisieren von Haa-
ren zu verwenden. Jede andere Nutzung ist
nicht zulässig. Nicht geeignet für Kunst-
haare und Perücken.
8. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Spannungsan-
gabe auf dem Typenschild des Gerätes mit
der Netzspannung übereinstimmt. Netz-
spannung 220-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 38 W,
Schutzklasse II, doppelt Isoliert.
9. Legen Sie das Gerät nicht auf empfind-
lichen Oberflächen oder in der Nähe von
entflammbaren Materialien (z.B. Dosen,
Plastikteile oder Behälter, die durch die
heiße Oberfläche des Gerätes schmelzen
oder Feuer fangen können) ab. Legen Sie
das Gerät nur auf einer hitzebeständigen
Oberfläche ab.
10. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach Gebrauch im-
mer aus. Ziehen Sie stets den Netzstecker
heraus, wenn Sie das Gerät nicht benutzen
oder reinigen.
11. Das Gerät darf nicht in Betrieb genommen
werden, wenn das Kabel oder der Stecker
beschädigt ist oder das Gerät Schäden
aufweist. Bei einem Defekt und/ oder
einer Funktionsstörung das Gerät sofort

ausschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.
Wenn das Netzkabel, der Stecker oder das
Gerät beschädigt sein sollte, versuchen Sie
niemals, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren, da
durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen erheb-
liche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen
können. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fach-
händler.
12. Das Gerät muss erst abkühlen, bevor es
verstaut oder weggepackt wird.
13. Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel nicht um das
heiße Gerät.
Ziehen Sie vor der Reinigung und Wartung
des Gerätes den Netzstecker. Die Pflege
und Wartung darf nur am abgekühlten
Gerät durchgeführt werden. Siehe hierzu
auch Pflege und Wartung.
14. Beim Ausstecken des Gerätes ziehen Sie
niemals am Netzkabel oder am Gerät
selbst.
15. Halten Sie das Gerät zum Tragen nicht am
Netzkabel fest.

und Brechen des Kabels
Inbetriebnahme
Stecken Sie den Netzstecker des Gerätes in die Steckdose.
Drücken Sie die „0/I“ Taste. Die Temperaturanzeige erscheint im Dis-
play und das Gerät heizt auf. Sie können den Fortschritt des Aufheiz-
vorgangs anhand der im Display angezeigten Temperatur verfolgen.
Das Gerät verfügt über 10 Temperaturstufen von 140 °C bis 230 °C.
Die voreingestellte Temperatur beträgt 180 °C. Zum Erhöhen der
Temperatur um 10 °C drücken Sie die Taste „+“. Zum Reduzieren der
Temperatur drücken Sie die Taste „-„.
Zum Speichern einer Temperatur stellen Sie zunächst die gewünschte
Temperatur ein und drücken Sie anschließend die Taste „M“ für 3
Sekunden. Die Temperatur ist nun gespeichert. Um von einer davon
abweichenden Temperatur zur gespeicherten Temperatur zu gelan-
gen, drücken Sie kurz die Taste „M“.

Zum Ausschalten drücken Sie die „0/I“ Taste und ziehen Sie anschlie-
ßend den Netzstecker.
Wird das Stylingeisen 30 Minuten lang nicht verwendet, schaltet es au-
tomatisch ab. Dies ist eine Sicherheitsvorkehrung. Bei Nichtgebrauch
ist das Stylingeisen dennoch stets auszuschalten und der Netzstecker
muss gezogen werden.
Pflege und Wartung
Um eine optimale Leistungsfähigkeit Ihres Fripac Mondial Stylingei-
sens sicherzustellen, sollten die Heizplatten regelmäßig gereinigt
werden.
Stellen Sie dabei sicher, dass das Stylingeisen ausgeschaltet und
abgekühlt ist, bevor Sie mit der Reinigung beginnen. Ziehen Sie vor
der Reinigung den Netzstecker.
Reinigen Sie die Heizplatten mit einem weichen Tuch unter Verwen-
dung von Isopropylalkohol (IPA). Geben Sie das Reinigungsmittel nicht
direkt auf das Gerät, sondern befeuchten Sie das Tuch.
Verwenden Sie niemals aggressive Reinigungsmittel, die die Heizplat-
ten beschädigen können.

Entsorgung
Benutzerinformation zur Entsorgung von elektrischen und
elektronischen Geräten
Dieses Symbol auf Produkten und/ oder begleitenden Dokumenten
bedeutet, dass verbrauchte elektrische und elektronische Produkte
nicht mit gewöhnlichem Haushaltsabfall vermischt werden sollen.
Bringen Sie zur ordnungsgemäßen Behandlung, Rückgewinnung und

Garantie
Auf das Gerät haben Sie bei ausschließlich privater Nutzung 2 Jahre
und bei gewerblicher Nutzung 1 Jahr Garantie vom Kaufdatum an. Wir
verpflichten uns, während dieser Zeit alle infolge eines Herstell- oder
Materialfehlers schadhaft gewordenen Teile kostenlos instand zu
setzen. Die Garantie kann nicht gewährt werden, wenn von fremder
Hand Veränderungen oder Reparaturversuche vorgenommen werden.
Ebenso fallen durch unsachgemäße Behandlung oder Unterlassen der
regelmäßigen Reinigung der Heizplatten verursachte Schäden nicht
unter die Garantieverpflichtung. Voraussetzung für eine reibungslose
Garantieabwicklung ist, dass der Kaufbeleg zusammen mit dem Gerät
eingesandt wird.
Das Gerät entspricht den Anforderungen der Niederspannungsrichtli-
nie 2014/35/EU, EMV Richtlinie 2014/30/EU, Richtlinie über energie-
verbrauchsrelevante Produkte 2009/125/EU, sowie den Anforderungen
der ROHS Direktive 2011/65/EU und REACH Verordnung 1907/2006 mit
den aktuellen Anhängen.

SAFETY INFORMATION
1. This symbol indicates:
The device must never be used
in the bathtub, shower, over
sinks filled with water or with wet hands.
The device must also never be used in the
proximity of water contained in bathtubs,
sinks or other containers and must never
be submerged in water.
2. If the device is used in a bathroom then it
is always to be unplugged after use, as the
proximity to water poses a threat, even if
the device is switched off.
The installation of a residual-current
device (RCD) with a rated tripping current
of no more than 30 mA in the bathroom
circuit is recommended as an additional
form of protection. Please consult with
your electrician.
3. The device is not a toy! Children are not
permitted to play with the device. Children
are not permitted to clean or service it
without supervision.
4. This device is suitable for use by children
ages 14 and up and by those with reduced

they are under supervision or have been

7. The device is only to be used for hairdres-
sing purposes. Any other use is not permit-
ted. Not suitable for artificial hair or wigs.
8. Make sure that the voltage indicated on
the label of the current iron corresponds to
the supply voltage. Supply voltage 220-240
VAC, 50/60 Hz, 38 W, Protection Class II,
double insulated.
9. Do not lay the device on sensitive surfaces

or close to flammable materials (e.g. tin
cans, plastic parts or containers that could
melt or catch fire due to the hot surface of
the device). Only lay the device on a he-
at-resistant surface.
10. Always switch off the device after use. Al-
ways keep the device unplugged if you are
not using it or are cleaning it.
11. The device must not be operated if there
is damage to the mains cable or the plug
or if the device shows damage. If there is a
defect and/or a malfunction, immediately
switch off the device and unplug it. If the
mains cable, the plug or the device itself
are damaged, never attempt to repair the
device yourself, as improperly executed
repairs can result in significant dangers

12. The device must first cool off before it can
be stowed or packed away.
13. Do not wrap the mains cable around the
hot device.
Unplug the device before cleaning or servi-
cing it. Care and maintenance may only be
performed on the device after it has cooled

Operating instructions
Plug the mains cable of the device into the socket.
Press the ‚0/I‘ button. The temperature appears in the display and the
device heats up. You can monitor the progress of the heating process
with the aid of the temperature shown on the display.
The device has 10 temperature settings from 140 °C to 230 °C. The
preset temperature is 180 °C. Press the ‚+‘ button to increase the tem-
perature by 10 °C. Press the ‚-‘ button to reduce the temperature.
To save a temperature first select the desired temperature then press
the ‚M‘ button and hold it for 3 seconds. The temperature is now saved.
Briefly press the ‚M‘ button to switch from a different temperature to
the saved temperature.
To switch off the device press the ‚0/I‘ button and then unplug the
mains cable.
The styling iron will switch off automatically if it is not used for 30 mi-
nutes. This is a safety precaution. Nevertheless, always switch off and
unplug the styling iron when it is not being used.

Care and maintenance
The heating plates should be cleaned regularly in order to ensure the
optimal performance of your Fripac Mondial styling iron.
Make sure that the hair styling iron is switched off and has cooled off
before you begin cleaning it. Unplug the device before cleaning it.
Clean the heating plates with a soft cloth using isopropyl alcohol (IPA).
Do not apply the cleaning agent directly to the device but rather dam-
pen the cloth with it.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents that could damage the heating
plates.
Disposal
User Information on the Disposal of Electrical and Electronic
Devices
This symbol on products and/or accompanying documents indicates
that used electrical and electronic devices are not to be mixed with
normal household waste.
Please take these products to their corresponding collection centres
where they will be taken from you for their proper treatment, recovery
and recycling at no charge. In some countries it may also be possible to
return these products to your local retailer when buying a correspon-
ding new product. The proper disposal of this product serves to protect
the environment and prevents possible harmful effects on humans and
the environment that could result from the improper handling of waste.
You can obtain further information on your local collection centre from

Warranty
For this device you have a 2-year warranty for exclusively private use
and a 1-year warranty for commercial use starting from the date of
purchase. We pledge to repair at no charge any parts that are damaged
as a result of a manufacturing or material defect. The warranty does
not apply if a third party has made changes to or attempted to repair
the device. Any damage caused due to the improper use of the device
or failure to clean the heating plates regularly is not covered by the
warranty either. The receipt of purchase must be mailed in together
with the device in order for the warranty to be processed smoothly.
This device meets the requirements of the Low-Voltage Directive (LVD)
2014/35/EU, the Act on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) of Equip-
ment 2014/30/EU, the Directive on Energy-Related Products 2009/125/

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
1. Ce pictogramme signifie :
N‘utilisez jamais l‘appareil dans
la baignoires, sous la douche,
au dessus d‘un lavabo rempli d‘eau ou
avec les mains mouillées.
N‘utilisez jamais l‘appareil à proximité
d‘eau contenue dans des baignoires, lava-
bos ou autres récipients, et ne l‘immergez
jamais dans l‘eau.
2. Lorsque vous utilisez l‘appareil dans une
salle de bains, vous devez toujours débran-
cher la fiche secteur lorsque vous ne vous
servez pas de l‘appareil, parce que la pro-
ximité d‘eau constitue un risque, même si
l‘appareil est éteint.
Comme protection supplémentaire, nous
recommandons l‘installation d‘un dis-
joncteur différentiel avec un courant de

5. Lors de l‘utilisation, l‘appareil devient très
chaud. Evitez tout contact avec la peau
lorsque l‘appareil est allumé ou tant que

7. L‘appareil ne doit être utilisé que pour la

mise en plis des cheveux. Toute utilisation
autre est interdite. Non adapté aux cheveux
synthétiques et perruques.
8. Veillez à ce que la tension indiquée sur la
plaque signalétique de l‘appareil corre-
sponde à la tension de secteur. Tension
de secteur 220-240 VCA, 50/60 Hz, 38 W,
classe de protection II, double isolation.
9. Ne posez jamais l‘appareil sur des sur-
faces fragiles ou à proximité de matières
inflammables (par ex. boîtes, éléments en
plastique ou récipients, qui peuvent fondre
ou prendre feu en raison de la chaleur de
l‘appareil). Ne posez l‘appareil que sur des
surfaces résistant à la chaleur.
10. Eteignez toujours l‘appareil après l‘utilisa-
tion. Débranchez toujours la prise secteur
lorsque vous nettoyez l‘appareil ou si vous
ne l‘utilisez pas.
11. Ne mettez pas l‘appareil en service si le
câble ou la fiche sont endommagés ou si
l‘appareil présente des défaillances. En
cas de défaillance et/ou de dysfonctionne-

12. Laissez refroidir l‘appareil avant de le
ranger.
13. N‘enroulez pas le câble d‘alimentation
autour de l‘appareil encore chaud.
Avant le nettoyage ou l‘entretien de vot-
re appareil, débranchez la fiche secteur.
N‘effectuez le nettoyage et l‘entretien que
lorsque l‘appareil a refroidi. Reportez-vous
à ce sujet aussi au chapitre Entretien et
Maintenance.
14. Pour débrancher l‘appareil, ne tirez jamais
sur le câble d‘alimentation ou sur l‘appa-
reil.
15. Ne portez pas l‘appareil par le câble d‘ali-
mentation.
