per compiere l’installazione, la messa in marcia,

0.1 HOW TO READ AND USE THE
INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL
0.1.1 THE IMPORTANCE OF THE MANUAL
The instruction manual is to be considered as
an integral part of the product; keep it and look
after it throughout the liEBtime of the machine
and hand it on to any other users or subsequent
owners.
All the instructions contained in the manual must
be followed by both operators and qualied staff in
order to correctly and saEBly install, start, use and
service the machine.
In the event of doubts or problems, contact the
technical service centres.

Use the manual in such a way as not to damage
all or part of the contents.
On no account should any parts of this manual be
removed, torn out or rewritten.
Keep the manual in places protected from humidity

0.2 DESTINATARI DEL MANUALE
OPERATORE CONDUTTORE DI MACCHINA:
Operatore addestrato. Previo un opportuno corso
d’addestramento all’utilizzo della macchina, è in
grado di svolgere le più semplici regolazioni sulla
macchina.
MANUTENTORE MECCANICO:
Tecnico qualicato in grado di fare funzionare la
macchina come il conduttore, di intervenire sugli
organi meccanici per regolazioni, manutenzioni,
riparazioni. Non è abilitato ad interventi su impianti
elettrici sotto tensione.
MANUTENTORE ELETTRICISTA:
Tecnico qualicato in grado di fare funzionare la
macchina come il conduttore, di intervenire sulle
regolazioni e sugli impianti elettrici per manuten-
zione e riparazione.
TECNICOSPECIALIZZATODELCOSTRUTTORE:
Tecnico qualicato del costruttore o del suo distribu-
tore in grado di fare funzionare la macchina come il
conduttore, di intervenire sugli organi meccanici e

concordato con l’utilizzatore.

0.2 WHO THE MANUAL IS FOR
MACHINE OPERATOR:
Trained operator who after an appropriate training
course on use of the machine will be able to carry
out the most simple machine adjustments.
MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN:
Qualied technician able to operate the machine like
the machine operator and work on the mechanical
devices for adjustment,maintenance and repair. The
mechanical maintenance technician is not qualied
to perform operations on live electrical systems
MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN:
Qualied technician able to operate the machine like
the machine operator, make adjustments and work
on electrical systems for maintenance and repair.
SPECIALISED TECHNICIAN OF THE
MANUFACTURER:
Qualied technician of the manufacturer or his
distributor able to operate the machine like the
machine operator, work on the mechanical devices
and on the electrical system for adjustments,
maintenance, repairs and complex operations when
agreed with the user.
EXPOSED PERSON:
Any person partially of fully in a hazardous zone.

1. SICUREZZA E ANTINFORTISTICA
1.1 AVVERTENZE GENERALI DI SICUREZZA
• Prima di iniziare il lavoro l'operatore deve essere
perfettamente a conoscenza della posizione
e del funzionamento di tutti i comandi e delle
caratteristiche della macchina; vericare quoti-
dianamente tutti i dispositivi di sicurezza presenti
sulla macchina.
• L'operatore, prima di procedere alla partenza
del ciclo di lavorazione, deve assicurarsi dell'as-
senza di PERSONE ESPOSTE nelle ZONE
PERICOLOSE.
• Il datore di lavoro deve disporre e fare impiegare
dispositivi di protezione individuale conforme-
mente a quanto indicato sulla Direttiva 89/391/
CEE (e successive modiche). Durante l’uso e
la manutenzione della macchina è Obbligatorio
l'uso di dispositivi di protezione individuale (DPI)
quali calzature e tuta di sicurezza, approvati per
ni antinfortunistici.
• Le zone di stazionamento dell'operatore vanno
mantenute sempre sgombree pulite da eventuali
residui oleosi.
• E' vietato avvicinarsi agli elementi mobili della
macchina, quali carrello e tavola rotante,quando
la macchina è in lavorazione.
• E' assolutamente vietato far funzionare la mac-
china in modo automatico con le protezioni sse
e/o mobili smontate.
• E' assolutamente vietato inibire le sicurezze
installate sulla macchina.
• Le operazioni di regolazione a sicurezze ridotte
devono essere effettuate da una sola persona e
durante il loro svolgimento è necessario vietare
l'accesso alla macchina a persone non autoriz-
zate.
• Il locale di installazione della macchina non deve
avere zone d'ombra, luci abbaglianti fastidiose,
nè effetti stroboscopici pericolosi dovuti all'illu-
minazione fornita.
• La macchina può lavorare in aria libera a tem-
perature ambientali da + 5°C a + 40°C.
• La macchina deve essere usata esclusivamente
da personale qualicato.
LA MACCHINA DEVE ESSERE UTILIZ-
ZATA DA UN UNICO OPERATORE ALLA
VOLTA, VI E' IL DIVIETO ASSOLUTO DI
OPERARE CONTEMPORANEAMENTE
IN PIù DI UN OPERATORE.
1. SAFETY AND ACCIDENT
PREVENTION
1.1 GENERAL SAEBTY INSTRUCTIONS
• Before starting work, the operator must be per-
fectly familiar with the position and functioning
of all the controls and machine features. Daily
check all the safety devices on the machine.
• Before starting the working cycle, the operator must
ensure that there are no EXPOSED PERSONS in
the HAZARDOUS ZONES.
• The employer must provide and instigate the use
of personal protective equipment conforming to
the prescriptions of Directive 89/391/EEC(and
subsequent revisions). While using and carry-
ing out maintenance on the machine the use
of personal protective equipment (PPE) such
as safety footwear and overalls, approved for
accident prevention, is obligatory.
• The areaswhere theoperator stands must always
be kept clear and free of oily residues.
• It is forbidden to approach the machine moving
parts, such as the carriage and turntable, while
the machine is running.
• It is strictly prohibited to operate the machine
in automatic mode with the xed and/or mobile
safety guards removed.
• It is strictlyprohibited to disablethe safety devices
installed on the machine.
• Any adjustment operations that need to be
carried out with some of the safeey devices
disabled must be performed by one person only,
and unauthorised persons may not access the
machine during this time.
• The room in which the machine is housed must
not have any shadow areas, annoying bright
lights or hazardous stroboscopic effects caused
by the lighting supplied.
• The machine can operate in clear air conditions
at ambient temperatures of +5°C to +40°C.
• The machine must be used exclusively by
qualied personnel.

MACHINE BY 2 OR MORE OPERATORS
AT THE SAME TIME IS FORBIDDEN.

Dopo un'operazione di regolazione a sicurezze
ridotte lo stato della macchina con protezioni attive
deve essere ripristinato al più presto.
Non modicare per alcun motivo parti di macchina
(come attacchi, forature, niture,ecc.) per adattarvi
ulteriori dispositivi. Per qualunque necessità o
modica consultare sempre il Costruttore.
DURING ALL MAINTENANCE, REPAIR
OR ADJUSTMENT OPERATIONS, IT IS
OBLIGATORYTO TURN THE MAIN SWITCH
TO (0). IF YOU NEED TO CONDUCT WORK
INSIDETHE ELECTRICALPANEL,ALWAYS
TURN OFF THE VOLTAGE UMPS2TREAM
THEMACHINE USING THE MAINSSWITCH,
AS THE TERMINAL BOARD IS POWERED
ON EVEN THOUGH THE PANEL IS OPEN
AND THE MACHINE SWITCH IS SET TO
“OFF”.
IT IS ADVISABLE TO POST A WARNING
SIGNONTHE CONTROLPANELONBOARD
THE MACHINE OR ON THE MAIN POWER
SWITCH (WHATEVER APPLICABLE );THIS
SIGN SHOULD READ AS FOLLOWS:

DO NOT REMOVE THE FIXED GUARDS
WHENTHEMACHINEISRUNNING.ALWAYS
REFIT THE FIXED GUARDS AFTER ANY
MAINTENANCE OPERATION.
As soon as possible after an operation that required
disabling of some safety devices, the machine must
be restored to a safe state by re-enabling all the
safety devices.
Do not for any reason modify parts of the machine
(e.g. attachments, holes, nishes, etc.) in order to
adapt it to other devices.
We therefore advise you to request any modications
directly from the Manufacturer.

1.2 SEGNALETICA DI SICUREZZA
I segnali di sicurezza (Fig. 1.2 a,b) descritti in questo
manuale, sono riportati sulla struttura della macchina
nei punti opportuni e segnalano la presenza di situazioni
di pericolo potenziale dovute a rischi residui.
Le targhe adesive contraddistinte da bande giallo nere,
segnalano un’area in cui sono presenti rischi per il
personale addetto, in prossimità di tali segnali occorre
prestare la massima attenzione.
Le targhe adesive poste sulla macchina devono essere
mantenute pulite e leggibili.
Pericolo per la presenza di alta tensione.
Togliere la tensione di alimentazione prima di
aprire il quadro elettrico.
È vietato rimuovere i ripari ssi di protezione.
Èvietato il passaggio o la sosta nelle zone ove
sono presenti organi in movimento.
Èobbligatorio leggere attentamente il manuale
d'istruzioni prima di operare sulla macchina.
Punti di presa per sollevamento e movimenta-
zione con carrello elevatore.
Èobbligatorio spegnere la macchina e staccare
la spina prima di iniziare i lavori di manutenzio-
ne o riparazione.
Pericolo di caduta dalla tavola in rotazione.

1.2 SAFETY SIGNS
The safety signs (Fig. 1.2a,b) described in this manual,
are located on the machine structure at suitable points
and warn of the likelihood of danger due to residual
risks.
The adhesive stickers, distinguished by yellow and
black bands, warn of areas of risk for operators and so
maximum care must be taken where these signs are
located.
The adhesive stickers applied to the machine must al-
ways be kept clean and legible.

1.2.1 AVVERTENZE IN MERITO AI RISCHI
RESIDUI
La macchina è stata progettata e costruita in
modo da permettere all’operatore un uso in
condizioni di sicurezza, eliminando o riducendo
al minimo livello possibile i rischi residui presenti
mediante l’adozione di dispositivi di sicurezza.
Tuttavia non è stato possibile rimuovere com-
pletamente alcuni rischi, di seguito elencati,
perché questi sono insiti nel funzionamento della
macchina stessa (Fig. 1.2.1 a, b):
Rischio di intrappolamento
Prima di avviare la macchina l'operatore
deve accertarsi che non sia presente alcun
altro operatore all'interno del perimetro
della macchina (1).
Rischio di intrappolamento
Nonsalire maisulla tavolarotante /traspor-
tatori (2) in movimento in quanto permane
il rischio di caduta o di intrappolamento
con la zona di avvolgimento lm.
Rischio di schiacciamento
Non stazionare o transitare nella zona di
movimentazione del carrello. In fase di
discesa, vi è il rischio di urto e schiaccia-
mento tra la piastra di sicurezza (3) del
carrello e il terreno.
Rischio di scottatura o bruciatura
Non toccare il lo di taglio o i saldatori (se
presenti) (4) in quanto rimane il rischio di
scottatura o bruciatura.
1.2.1 WARNINGS OF RESIDUAL RISKS
The machine has been designed and constructed in
such a way as to allow the operator to use it safely,
eliminating or cutting down to the minimum the pos-
sible residual risks by the adoption of safety devices. It
has not however been possible to eliminate some risks,
listed below (Fig. 1.2.1 a,b), because these are inher-
ent in the way the machine works:
Risk of getting trapped
Before starting the machine the operator
must make sure that no other operator is
present inside the machine perimeter(1).
Risk of getting trapped
Never climb on the turntable – conveyors
(2) while it is moving as you may fall or
get caught up in the lm winding zone.
Risk of getting crushed
Do not remain in or pass through the carriage
movement area. In the lowering phase there is
the risk of impact and being crushed between
the carriage safety plate (3) and the ground.
Risk of scalding or burning
Do not touch the cutting wire or welding (if
any) (4) in what remains the risk of scalding
or burning.

PREVISTE DALCOSTRUTTORE, ISOLANDO
LE PARTI MOBILI E GLI ELEMENTI IN TEN-
SIONE MEDIANTE L’ADOZIONE DI PROTE-
ZIONI E DISPOSITIVI DI SICUREZZA PER
L’ARRESTO DELLA MACCHINA.
ILCOSTRUTTOREDECLINAOGNIEQUALSI-
ASI RESPONSABILITÀ PER DANNI CAUSATI
A PERSONE, ANIMALI O COSE, DOVUTI
ALLA MANOMISSIONE DEI DISPOSITIVI DI
SICUREZZA.
-Pulsante di emergenza (A) sul quadro elettrico.
-La zonasuperiore delcarrello, dovesono presenti
gli ingranaggi di trasmissione moto è protetta dal
riparo sso (B).
-Gli organi di movimentazione della tavola rotante
sono protetti dal riparo sso (C).
- Il quadro elettrico è protetto dal riparo sso (D).
-Sotto al carrello è presente una piastra mobile
(E) interbloccata per mezzo di un interruttore di
sicurezza che, in caso di contatto con un og-
getto estraneo, arresta la macchina e comanda
la salita del carrello per 2 secondi.
Protezioni sse perimetrali NON APRIBILI (F), ap-
poggiate al pavimento) attorno a tutta la macchina,
ad eccezione delle zone di entrata ed uscita pallet.
Le zone di entrata ed uscita pallet sono dotate di
barriere elettrosensibili (G) anti-intrusione.
Se durante il funzionamento della macchi-
na viene rilevato il passaggio di un'opera-
tore o di un oggetto estraneo attraverso le
suddette barriere, la macchina si arresta
automaticamente.
Quando si avvia la macchina prestare la
massima attenzione e vericare che non
sia presente alcun operatore nella zona
all'interno delle protezioni "F" e barriere
"G", in quanto é presente il pericolo di in-
trappolamento. Le operazioni di intervento
sulla macchina devono essere assoluta-
mente eseguite da 1 operatore, al ne di
evitare l'accidentale avviamento da parte
di un secondo operatore.
Protezioni perimetrali apribili (H),interbloccate da
un interrutore di sicurezza che, in caso di apertura,
arresta la macchina.
N.B: in caso di arresto per l'intervento del dispo-
sitivo (E), si può comandare la salita del carrello
per rimuovere l'oggetto estraneo che lo ha fatto
intervenire.
1.3 SAFETY DEVICES
THE MACHINE HAS BEEN DESIGNED
AND CONSTRUCTED TO ALLOW SAEB
USE IN ALL THE CONDITIONS INTENDED
BY THE MANUFACTURER, ISOLATING
THE MOVING PARTS AND LIVE COMPO-
NENTS BY THE USE OF SAEBTY GUARDS
AND SAEBTY DEVICES TO STOP THE
MACHINE.
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE OR IN-
JURY TO PERSONS, ANIMALS OR OB-
JECTS CAUSED BY TAMPERING WITH
THE SAEBTY DEVICES.
- Emergency button (A) on the electrical panel.
-The top area of the carriage, where the drive trans-
mission gears are, is protected by xed guard (B).
- The moving parts of the turntable are protected by
xed guard C).
- The electrical panel is protected by xed guard (D).
- Under the carriage there is a mobile plate (E) inter-
locked by a safety switch which, if the plate comes
into contact with a foreign object it stop the machine
and sends the carriage back up for 2 seconds.
NON-OPENABLE xed perimeter safety guards (F),
(resting upon the oor), placed all around the machine
except in the pallet entry and exit zones.
The pallet entry and exit zones are protected by elec-
trosensitive anti-intrusion barriers (G).
If an operator or a foreign object crosses
through these barriers while the machine
is running, the machine itself will stop
automatically.
When starting the machine, show utmost
caution and make sure that no operator is
present in zone “F”, on the inside of guard
“G”, since there is a danger of getting
trapped. it is absolutely essential that all
operations on the machine be performed
by 1 operator working alone in order to
prevent accidental start-up by a second
operator.
Openingperimetralfence(H), interlocked by a safety
switch which stop the machine in case of opening
N.B: if the machine stop because device (E) has been
triggered, the carriage can be sent up to remove the
foreign object that triggered it.

2.2 DESCRIZIONE GENERALE
L'avvolgitore è una macchina semiautomatica
progettata per l'avvolgimento e la stabilizzazione
con lm estensibile di prodotti pallettizzabili. La
macchina,in versione standard, è composta dalle
seguenti parti (vedi Fig. 2.2a,b):
1 Tavola rotante su cui viene depositato il pro-
dotto pallettizzato che deve essere avvolto.
2Colonn a lungo la quale si muove una attrezza-
tura di avvolgimento (carrello di avvolgimento).
3Carrello di avvolgimento che compie un movi-
mento verticale di salita e discesa; il movimento
verticale del carrello di avvolgimento, combinato
con la rotazione della tavola, consente l'avvol-
gimento del prodotto.
4Quadro elettrico, struttura contenente l'inter-
ruttore generale, la pulsantiera di comando ed
i componenti elettrici.
5Pinza, che afferra la coda del lm estensibile a
ne ciclo per rilasciarla durante il ciclo successivo.
6Taglio / Saldatura,che taglia e salda (optional)
il lm estensibile a ne ciclo lasciando il pallet
pronto per essere prelevato
7Barriera di sicurezza elettrosensibili antiintru-
sione
8Protezioni in rete, recinzione completa della
macchina in rete che impedisce il contatto con
parti della macchina in movimento.

Gruppi optional
Su richiesta possono essere forniti i seguenti op-

10 Rampa di salita e discesa sulla tavola rotante
(non per versione incassata).
Consente di caricare la tavola mediante un car-
rello sollevatore (transpallet manuale o elettrico)
salendo sulla tavola rotante.
11 Pressore è un dispositivo che blocca, dall'alto, il
prodotto da pallettizzare. Tale dispositivo è utile
quando il prodotto da pallettizzare è instabile.
12 Trasportatori ( a rulli o catene)- dispositivi atti
alla movimentazione del prodotto attraverso le
postazioni di lavorazione.
2.2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The wrapping machine isa semiautomatic designed
to wrap and stabilize palletizableproducts by means
of a stretch lm.
In its standard version, the machine comprises
the following components (see Fig. 2.2 a,b):
1Turntable: table on which the palletised product
to be wrapped is placed.
2Column along which a wrapping tool (wrapping
carriage).
3 Wrapping carriage moves vertically up and
down; the vertical movement of the wrapping
carriage combined with turntable rotation allows
wrapping the product.
4Electric panel, structure containing the main
switch, the control pushbutton panel and the
electrical components.
5 The clamp hold the lm tail during welding/
cutting cycle and release it when the wrapper
starts next cycle.
6 Cutting/ welding, cutting and welding (optional)
stretch lm at cycle end allowing the pallet can
now be unloaded
7 Electrosensitive anti-intrusion barrier
8Safety cages, full enclosure of the machine that
prevents contact with moving machine parts
9Push button remote controls, push button that
allows you to start and stop the machine.
Optional units
The following optional units can be supplied on
request:
10 Access ramp: to turntable (not for recessed
version). This allows a forklift truck (manual or
electric transpallet) to place pallets directly onto
the turntable.
11 Presser unit: is a device that clamMPS2 the
product on the pallet from above. This device is
useful when the product on the pallet is unstable.
12Conveyors (rollerconveyorsor chainconvey-
ors) - a device that moves the product through
machining stations.

La macchina può essere fornita, su richiesta, nelle
seguenti versioni:
• incassata (Fig. 2.2 c) che consente di facilitare la
procedura di carico e scarico pallet in quanto la
tavola rotante si trova a lo pavimento. Il cliente
deve provvedere a ricavare nel pavimento una
sede, opportunamente dimensionata, pronta a
ricevere la macchina in versione incassata.
La macchina è dotata di diversi programmi di lavoro
selezionabili da pannello operatore.
The machine may be supplied on request in the
following versions:
• recessed (Fig. 2.2 c) for facilitating loading and
unloading the pallets as the turntable lies ush
with the oor. The customer must prepare a
suitably sized hole in the oor for containing the
machine in its recessed version.
The machine features four different operating
programs, selectable from the operator panel.
