レンズのお手入れと取り扱い上のご注意
• レンズフードをレンズに装着した状態で、レンズフードだけを持たないでください。
• レンズ・フィルターのガラス面の清掃はホコリを拭う程度にしてください。指紋がついたときは、レン
ズクロスやレンズペーパーに少量のレンズクリーナーを含ませて、レンズの中心から外周へ渦巻状に、
拭きムラ、拭き残りのないように注意して拭いてください。
• シンナーやベンジンなどの有機溶剤は絶対に使用しないでください。
• レンズをケースなどに入れるときは、必ずレンズフロントキャップとレンズリアキャップを取り付けて
ください。
• レンズ・フィルターを長期間使用しないときは、カビやサビを防ぐために、高温多湿のところを避けて
保管してください。また、直射日光のあたるところ、ナフタリンや樟脳のあるところも避けてください。
• レンズを水に濡らすと、部品がサビつくなどして故障の原因となります。雨や水滴がついたときは、よ
く拭いて乾かしてください。
• ストーブの前など、高温になるところに置かないでください。極端に温度が高くなると、製品が変形す
ることがあります。

カメラとレンズの取り付け
カメラのボディキャップとレンズのリアキャップを外
します。レンズの指標線を目印にしてカメラにレンズ
を取り付けます。（カメラによっては、指標が無い場合
があります）
•レンズを取り付けるときは、ゴミやほこりの付着に注意してください。
•カメラ内部には触れないでください。
•
「カチッ」とはまるまで、レンズを回してください。
•レンズを取り付けるときは、レンズ着脱ボタンを押さないでください。

フランジバックの調整
フランジバックとは､ レンズの取付基準面（フランジ）から結像面までの距離をいいます。
取付カメラの違いや外気温度など諸条件の違いにより、フランジバックがずれることがあります。フラン
ジバックがずれると、ズームを操作したときにピントがずれるなどの現象が起きる場合があります。この
場合は、下記の要領で調整を行ってください｡

準備

1 被写体を用意する。：白黒の放射縞模様チャート「ジーメンススター」は、
WEB サイト（http://www.fujifilm.com/support/optical_devices/tv_cine/resources/）を参照して
ください。WEB サイトが参照できない場合などは、コントラストがハッキリした被写体（例えば白黒
カレンダーなど）を代用することも可能です。
2 カメラにレンズを取り付ける。
3 レンズの絞りを開放にする。
Q絞りを開放にすることで被写界深度が浅くなり、より確実に焦点を合わせることが出来ます。フラ
ンジバックを正確に調整するために、出来るだけ丁寧な焦点合わせ操作を行ってください。

1 F.f 固定つまみを反時計方向に回してゆるめます。
2 ズームを操作してワイド端にします。
3 F.f 固定つまみを使用して F.f 調整リングを回し、約 3m 離れた距離に置いたジーメンススターに焦点を
合わせます。白黒の放射縞模様が最もはっきり見える位置が最適な焦点位置です｡
4 ズームを操作してテレ端にします。
5 フォーカスを操作して､ ジーメンススターに焦点を合わせます。
6 ズームをワイド端に戻して、手順 3で合わせた最適な焦点位置が保たれているか確認します。
7 上記の手順 2〜6を2、3回繰り返します。（ズーム全域で常に最適な焦点位置が保たれるようにな
れば、フランジバック調整完了です。焦点がずれてしまう場合は、フランジバックの調整が不十分です。
そのときは、再度手順 2から調整を行ってください。）
8 最後に、F.f 固定つまみを確実に締め付けます。

マクロレバーをスライドさせながら、マクロリン
グを矢印の方向いっぱいに回します。

注意：マクロリングが中間の位置でも撮影を行うこ
とができます。この場合最短撮影距離と撮影範囲は、
通常撮影の場合とマクロ撮影の場合の中間の値とな
ります。
解除方法：マクロリングを矢印と逆方向に、マクロ
レバーが「カチッ」と音（感触）がするまで回します。

Product Care
• When using a lens hood, do not pick up or hold the camera using only the hood.
• Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the glass surfaces of the lens or lter. To remove smudges
and ngerprints, apply a small amount of lens cleaner to a soft, clean cotton cloth or lens-cleaning
tissue and clean from the center outwards using a circular motion, taking care not to leave smears or
touch the glass with your ngers.
• Never use organic solvents such as paint thinner or benzene to clean the lens.
• Attach the front and rear caps when the lens is not in use.
• Store the lens and lter in cool, dry locations to prevent mold and rust. Do not store in direct sunlight
or with naphtha or camphor moth balls.
• Keep the lens dry. Rusting can cause irreparable damage.
Wipe o rain and water droplets.
• Leaving the lens near a heater or in other extremely hot locations could cause damage or warping.

Attaching the Zoom Lever and Bridge/Extension Rods
Screw the zoom lever into its socket as shown.
Use the supplied bridge and extension rods to at-
tach a support rod. A sample setup is shown at
right.

Attaching the Lens to the Camera
Remove the body cap from the camera and the
rear cap from the lens. Place the lens on the mount,
keeping the marks on the lens and camera aligned,
and then rotate the lens until it clicks into place.
Note that in some cases there may not be a mount-
ing mark on the camera body.
When attaching lenses, ensure that dust or other foreign matter does not enter the camera and be careful
not to touch the camera’s internal parts. Do not press the lens release button while attaching the lens and
be sure the latch has securely clicked into place.
QBefore using the lens for the rst time or after attaching it to a dierent camera, measure the ange-back
distance (PEN-6).
The Lens Hood
The hood attaches and detaches as described below.
■ Attaching the Hood
Loosen the hood lock knob by rotating it counter-
clockwise and slide the hood onto the lens until it
contacts the raised ridge. Rotate the hood to align
the lock knob with the hood mounting mark on the
lens and tighten the lock knob.
■ Removing the Hood
Loosen the hood lock knob by rotating it counter
clockwise and slide the hood straight forward o
the lens.

Adjusting the Flange Back Distance
The ange back distance is the distance between the lens mounting ange and the focal plane, which
can vary depending on the camera and even such factors as the ambient temperature. If the ange
back distance in incorrect, the camera will not focus at the correct distance when you zoom in or out.
To correct the ange back distance, follow the steps below.
■ Preparation
1 Ready your subject. You can use a “Siemens star”, a pattern of black-and-white radiating spokes
available at http://www.fujifilm.com/support/optical_devices/tv_cine/resources/ or, if you are unable
to access the Internet, a high-contrast subject such as a black-and-white calendar.
2 Attach the lens to the camera.
3 Select maximum aperture.
QSelecting maximum aperture reduces depth of eld, making it easier to adjust focus. You will need
to focus as accurately as possible when adjusting the ange back distance.
Position your subject about 3m
(9.8ft.) distant. Any closer and the
focus distance may not be correct.

■ Performing the Adjustment
1 Loosen the F.f lock knob by rotating it counterclockwise.
2 Zoom all the way out.
3 Using the F.f lock knob, rotate the F.f ring to focus on the Siemens star at a distance of about 3m
(9.8 ft.). Find the position at which the black-and-white spokes are sharpest.
4 Zoom all the way in.
5 Focus on the Siemens star.
6 Zoom all the way out and see if the focus position is the same as it was in Step 3.
7 Repeat Steps 2-6 two or three times. The adjustment is complete when the optimal focus posi-
tion is the same at all focal lengths; if it is not, further adjustment is required and you will need to
return to Step 2.
8 Tighten the F.f lock knob securely when the adjustment is complete.

Lens Controls
Use the lens controls to zoom in or out, adjust aperture, or focus.
■ Zoom
Rotate the zoom ring to zoom out, increasing the
area visible in the frame, or zoom in on your subject
so that it lls a larger area of the frame.

creases the risk of water getting inside the lens.
Dry the lens before using the zoom ring.
■ Aperture
Rotate the aperture ring to stop aperture down,
raising the f-number and narrowing the aperture, or
stop aperture up to lower the f-number and widen
the aperture.
■ Focus
Rotate the focus ring to reduce or increase the focus
distance.
■ Macro Zoom
To use macro zoom:

Rotate the focus ring all the way to innity.

Slide the macro switch as shown and keep it in
this position while rotating the macro ring as far
as it will go in the direction shown.

Rotate the zoom ring to choose a focus position.
Note: The lens can be used with the macro ring po-
sitioned between the macro and normal positions,
but in this case the minimum focus distance and the
focus range will be also be between those of the
macro and normal positions.
Ending macro zoom: Rotate the macro ring in the direc-
tion opposite to that shown until the macro switch
clicks back into place.
