3. CONDITIONS OF USE
Easiair®2020 Reusable Premium Full Soft Hoods must be used in conjunction with a fully assembled and working
Easiair®2020 PAPR Kit. Without a fully operational PAPR system, the Easiair®2020 Reusable Premium Full Soft
Hood offers no respiratory protection to the wearer.
If your product is faulty, damaged or showing signs of excessive wear, please contact the manufacturer. The
protective effect of the headpiece may be impaired by:
- high wind velocities/crosswinds
- collars, earpieces or beards tucked under the neck cuff

4. APPROVALS
The Easiair®2020 Reusable Premium Full Soft Hood has been designed and manufactured to comply with directive
89/686/EEC on personal protective equipment and has been certied according to BS EN 166:2001 S – denoting
impact resistant face and eye protection.
When used as part of a complete Easiair®2020 PAPR system, the Easiair®2020 Reusable Premium Full Soft Hood
complies with EN 12941:1998+A1:2003+A2:2008 as a TH2 P R SL respiratory protective device.

5. BEFORE USE
Check the hood for any damage, wear or tears. If damaged, dispose and replace
before use.
Remove protective lm from the visor.
Attach the hood to the headgear using the following the process (also outlined in
section 7 of the Easiair®2020 PAPR Kit IFU):
5.1. Attach the head gear
- Locate the two holes at the back of the hood and slip the headgear’s air intake
through the larger hole at the top and the hood circumference adjuster through
the smaller hole at the bottom.
- Locate the clear plastic tabs inside the hood either side of the visor, and the
white plastic ‘arms’ either side of the headgear. Slide the clear plastic tab into
the grip of the white plastic arm.
- Attach disposable comfort bands (if used).
