Operator’s Guide
The purpose of this Operator's Guide is to provide basic operating procedures for this equipment. For
more detailed information see the Operator's Manual.
Turning on and off
·Press POWER key.
After self-test, the plotter display appears.

Adjusting brilliance and contrast
1. Press CLR/ALT and SFT keys together.
BRILLIANCE
CONTRAST
ESC: [ENT]
2. Press ▲or ▼to adjust brilliance; ◄or ►to
adjust contrast.
3. Press ENT key.
Setting up for a voyage
Enter at the start of a voyage: draught,
destination, navigation, status, etc.
1. Press MENU, [5], and [1] key in that order.

2. DRAUGHT is selected; enter ship's current
draught.
3. Press ENT, and then [2] key.

4. Press NEXT to choose DATE, TIME or
DESTINATION and enter estimated date/time
of arrival or destination waypoint.
5. Press ENT, and then [3] key.

6. Press ▲, ▼, ◄or ►key to choose
appropriate navigation status.
7. Press ENT, and then [4] key.

8. CREW is selected; enter number of crews.
9. Press NEXT to choose TYPE NO. and press
arrow keys to choose appropriate type
number.

◄, ► : Increment, decrement by 10
10. Press ENT and MENU in that order.

Setting CPA/TCPA
1. Press MENU, [5], and [5] key in that order.
[SET CPA/TCPA]
CPA: 0.90 nm
TCPA: 01 min
ACTV: DSBL +-
2. Enter CPA and press NEXT.
3. Enter TCPA and press NEXT.
4. Press SFT to choose ENBL to activate the
CPA/TCPA alarm; DSBL to disable it.
5. Press ENT, MENU and ENT in that order.
Enabling/Disabling buzzer
1. Press MENU, [6] and [5] key in that order.

SFT to choose message type.
5. Press NEXT to choose CHANNEL# and
press SFT to choose TX channel(s).
6. Press ENT and [2] key and enter message on
the SET MSG screen.
7. Press ENT to save message and press [3]
key to send message.
Receiving a message
1. When a message is received, Message
Received window appears.
2. Press MENU, [4], and [3] key in that order.
